sabo for crew member? I have a feeling they'll cross paths on FI.
Why in hell would Sabo be on Fishman island?

Why in hell would Sabo be on Fishman island?
Because he's secretly a fishman duh. AlmostLedgendary predicted it and as such it shall some to pass.
I'm not sure if I would mind Sabo joining but it wouldn't really make any sense that he'd be on FI. I suppose it's possible but very unlikely. He's part of the Revolutionaries so anything's possible really.

That makes one of us.
Why wouldn't he be in fishman island?
Because it's more probable that he is in Luffy's backpack or Nami's cleavage.
Okay here's my reasoning for why sabo could be on FI. Since WB is dead FI is going to be a lot worse off than it was when he was alive. It should turn into or revert back to what it once was. To prevent this or just a way to get another nation apart of the cause in steps Dragon. Sabo coulda been picked up by dragon. Enter sabo. Sabo for SHP.
eh that actually could work…..
Hey you guys i started a new thread due to this one having more than 500 pages.
I agree with this, too much crying from her.
Yeah, agreed. I mean, I think he way overreacted seeing how Croco was tearing apart her country and almost destroys the kingdom. What a crybaby.
So what are they going to teach her ?
How to have a badass and hotter new look.
AlmostLegendary for NN cuz his geniousness is OVER 9000!!!
Whitebeard mentioned that the discovery of One Piece would turn the world upside down. I highly doubt Raftel will be the last adventure, if anything it would likely mark the 3/4 point in the story.
I would say more like 5/6
Hm, then I'd say Raftel will be about 7/8 to be seriously ;D
@AlmostLegendary
Sabo has a unique dream he has to live and this dream could be fulfilled in the crew. Yet IDK if he leaves the organization which saved his life and works under a guy who was younger and weaker in his childhood (well, Luffy is still younger anyway).
BTW where are the Caribou-supporters?
Moomoo could also be a future nakama or the Kraken. Man, THAT would be a pet fitting 4 PK!
Except for Brook, the first guy we see in every arc are not going to join the crew. Although they are related to the next nakama and will lead them to meet him.
I see the last 2 joining over the next 3 arcs so they have enough time to grow with the crew
Kraken better join!!! He be the sea-navi!
^^ advanced navigation :)
If we put randon stuff here in… I say bring the ninja on. Oda can show how bad-ass ninja should be and not as Naruto shit.
I want to see Ghin using the soru. That would be awesome. Imagine getting hit with those weapons without even seeing the person.
1 fishman and 1 revolutionary army soldier?
My guess is that it'll be someone with the D's fate.
I mean, someone who is a pirate and that know more about D's fate because he is also from this ancient civilization descendant… and perhaps that he'll know where to find one of the ancient weapon...
Hmm, going w/ 2 crewmates, I would say Jimbei and Jewelry Bonney though Sabo would be awesome.
Why do people like fishman so much ? Death to all fishman.
I'd love to see Cariboo and Sabo join.
Quiet, human. Fishmen 4 Life!
Here's my thoughts on the matter:
Probably won't be a character we've already seen before. The only character we really knew before he joined the crew was Franky. (I think Miss Allsunday didn't really become Nico Robin until after she joined the Strawhats.)
In other words, the new member will (likely) not be a character we've seen before.
Jinbe- mentor characters don't join their student's crews
Caribou- No, unless something spectacular happens with his character, so far he's a more amusing version of Bellamy.
Sabo- no comment
New character- yes pretty much.
Perona…Perona...Perona. :ninja:
My thoughts in a nutshell:

You don't think Brook was painfully obvious?
Has Zoro some sort of "mentor" role as well?
Has Zoro some sort of as well "mentor" role as well?
I would say so, given his tendency to put his foot down when things are getting crazy and reminding the crew to be objective and pointing out what does and doesn't need to be done.
Has Zoro some sort of as well "mentor" role as well?
Do I seriously have to elaborate? Ok. When two of Zoro's swords love each other…
You guys are reading too much into Jinbe being a mentor. Sure he has much more experience than Luffy, but that doesn't make him a mentor. So far the only real mentor we've seen for Luffy is Rayleigh. For example, if Jinbe is considered a mentor I think you have to consider Iva one as well. Even Shanks is more of an inspiration than a mentor.
I don't see anything in Jinbei as mentor. Please where? Cuz he is older? Cuz he gave Luffy an advice as Zoro or other SHs give Luffy from time to time?
Cause he watches over Luffy and takes care of him and gives him advice.

As any other SH is doing
As any other SH is doing
Not really.
Aside fromt he comedy routines, the other SHs really look up to Luffy. Usopp himself says this recently; that when he first met Luffy he had no doubt in his mind that he would become Pirate King and that he realized for the first time that Luffy was defeatable, that he did need their help. When you go back to when a character contemplates being or becoming a StrawHat, have you noticed they always look up at Luffy? When…
Etc. All of them had at least in one point of their joining arcs (or in Nami's and Robin's case, Arlong Park arc and Ennies Lobby) looked up and felt dependent on Luffy.
Meanwhile Jinbe was the one looking down at Luffy and was the one who calmed him down. This is very different since it's usually been Luffy who would calm and comfort his crewmates, so for now Jinbe is still in a higher position than Luffy, looking down at him (though not in a bad way, in a mentor like way). That's not to say this can't change in Fishman Island, but for now that's the case.
Not really.

- Nami asked Luffy for help with Arlong, she was kneeling down and looked up at him.
- He asked Usopp to hurry and get on Merry, Usopp looked up at him on the ship. Same with Franky.
- At the end of Thriller Bark, Brook is playing the piano when Luffy tells him about Laboon on top of it. Of course, Brook has to look up.

Your bolded part already explains how much things could have changed now^^ Still don't see any mentor role in Jinbei from 2 years ago. He was just stronger and more calm. That's why people are seeing this.
But like people say. Rayleigh is a mentor but not Jinbei. If Jinbei is it just because of calming down Luffy than dunno
I'm kinda hoping for a younger character now, since we already got Brook, Robin and Franky, though that's just my personal opinion.

I'm as well but seeing we will get 2 more at least… I have no problems with getting Jinbei.
But a female in the age of Nami would be nice

luffy is going to help fishman island out just like he did to help out all the other crew members before they joined
fishman island we will get one and new world we will get someone as well
i would like a strong female logia from new world as well as jinbe from fishman island
Greg mentioned a gardener in green if I'm not mistaken (a guy who likes plants), does this mean Caribou will join? If he is a dirt/mud based DF user, he'll make a good gardener… and he can be the priest too...
...or maybe not. He needs to repent, and we need lots of explanation of his cruelty first, not to mention his big bounty. Mmm, maybe he hates marines because they did something to his garden once...? And his dream is probably to collect every plant in the world to make a perfect garden... :ninja:
So Cammie and Caribou, a fashion designer-diver and a gardener-priest...
EDIT: Caribou hates liars and Usopp uses plants, hmm...
But a female in the age of Nami would be nice
I think a young girl (11-12 yo), who will fall in love and harass to sanji, could be fun. 'Cause he'll flee her, as he doesn't care about girls with no shapes.
So I guess Miss GoldenWeek as a new member could be fun, and she has a unique type of fighting too…
What do you think about it?

That is probably the worst theory (if you are serious) I have ever read.

I agree.
I'm just bored. I thought the crew might need a gardener to take care of the lawn and the mikan tree and Usopp can restock his ammunition and Chopper can grow some herbs. But why would they need a gardener?
I really stand for Camie tho…

I'd prefer her.
!
- Lol @Sabo being a revolutionary. So random.
While unproven, I wouldn't discount this theory as random:
http://read.mangashare.com/One-Piece/chapter-589/page007.html
In a nutshell: Dragon arrived in the Kingdom of Goa on the night Sabo's ship got blown up and it looks like they might have rescued someone badly wounded ("hurry and patch him up", "this is terrible"). This doesn't guarantee that Sabo survived or joined the Revolutionary Army, but does make it plausible.
Sabo being a revolutionary is extremely fucking obvious.
@JERK:
Sabo being a revolutionary is extremely fucking obvious.
No dude, it isn't, we have to see it fucking spelled out for us to arrive at that conclusion, derp de derp.
Durr hurr Dragon rescued Bluejam gaiz.
