I've finished playing Ai Chou Aniki . Honestly , it felt a bit short …..even shorter then Gynoug , designed by the same guy . I'm not even finished with Gynoug yet !
What are you Playing?

Finally got my hands on The Sly Collection. Playing through Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus.
-
@Cyan:
Super Mario RPG.
so fucking awesome dammit square team up with nintendo again
This game has aged horribly, it's not funny. Played it for the first time last year and it feels inconceivably bland compared to games like Thousand Year Door and Bowsers Inside Story.
And unlike Rare, Square obviously had no idea how to make pre-rendered graphics on the SNES good looking. -
Thousand Year Door has aged wonderfully. Same with Wind Waker, but that's another genre.
I'm still playing Reach for now, I'll be picking up AC: Brotherhood in a few weeks even though it comes out tomorrow.

@Cyan:
Let me rephrase that.
goddammit square team up with nintendo again and make something decent
I don't see how Mario hoops three on three wasn't decent.
-
Still… playing SO4... I'll admit, it feels more better now than playing it during launch but I still can't stand Edge. I renamed him Fag to ease to pain.
And oh... I fucking hate drop rates with bloody passion.
-
I'm playing Uncharted multiplayer. I'm more than likely going to get Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood soon. The multiplayer looks really fun.

Gueta, it wasn't that bad. I mean, it was pretty….WHO THE FUCK AM I KIDDING! IT WAS AWFUL!
Curse you, basketball! Curse you Ninja basketball player! CURSE YOU TO HELL!
-
True. I played it the other day and it is awful
Best basketball game to star Nintendo characters is still NBA Street Volume 3.
-
I just beat Uncharted 2, and, like the first one, it's a masterpiece of gaming. The last boss is pretty tough, I even went back after getting infinite ammo and it was still fairly difficult. It's hard to hit him with grenades because he runs so fast and bullets don't really do anything to him.
-
Getting ready to play Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves for the first time ever (never had it back when I had a PS2). Here's hoping this game will be fun as most people say it is.
-
I'm currently playing:
-Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf Valley(PSP)
-Harvest Moon: Boy and Girl(PSP)
-Harvest Moon: Shiawase no Uta for World(Japanese version, playing GC version on Wii)
-
I'm restarting the Xenosaga triligy. I never realised how good this first game was. The sequels could of had so much potential. I wonder how dissapointed I'll be when I start playing the second one….
-
Mortal kombat vs DC universe vs mode
-
Replaying Resident Evil 4 (Wii Edition) … it is so awesome even after playing it various times before.

I was so disappointed, I dropped the series.

Just finished Chou Aniki on the PC Engine CD . It' not quite as memorable as the second game (but what IS as memorable as a giant speedo wearing snowman ?) , but it has it's fair share of weirdness .
Unlike Ai Chou Aniki , this is a more conventional shooter . Althought you seem to prety much have one type of a main weapon for the whole game , you can use bombs . Even if I never saw anything actualy dish them out , meaning only three bombs per five stages if you don't die .
The game , oddly enough , feels a tinsy bit longer then ACA . I think it's because ACA had four total areas with sub levels to go through (First level (there isn't realy a theme here) , forrest level , sea level and space level) , whereas CA has five . Some familia elements from the second game originate here , like the second stage of the first level being a verticaly scrolling level (one that scrolls…....down I'd say , though it's not exactly easy to tell) with the familiar green.....faces in the background . But while in the second game , blue ones eventualy came out for you to kill , in the first they're just there for decoration . Some other enemies apear here as well , including Masaya's famous Human Train , or the Elvis Battleship which only re-apears in the fighting game .
I was kind of disapointed by the final boss . His ugly face just looks at you from the background while two.......walls (?) are being pushed infront to crush you .
As with Gynoug , I sometimes felt that it was weird how I was not being hit sometimes , especialy given some shots seemed to pass right through me .
Overall a prety good game of the insane sort that Japan loves to make .
-
I finished the first three DKC games, so I'm doing another playthrough of Seiken Densetsu III (started a few days ago). I got excited at the new Monster Hunter Portable 3 trailer from a week ago, so I did some adhoc party with MHF Unite a bit as well. Still haven't killed a Fatalis….
-
Just started playing Gourmet Sentai Bara Yarou on the SNES .
edit : I just found out about this code
this game is even more awesome . I mean , it allows you to play as a speedo wearing scuba diver flying on a rocket for god's sake . It's like the missing Chou Aniki game !
-
I'm playing Uncharted 2 again, but this time with infinite ammo and no (somewhat) gravity. So I have infinite grenades and every time one explodes it makes stuff fly around in the air. Also, when people die they float which is really fun to watch.
-
Goldeneye: 007 for the Wii.
I've played maybe 3-4 hours so far.
The offline multiplayer has a ton of great maps with lots of modes and generally excellent pointer controls. There are some problems with hit detection though…The single player is also pretty good. Good voicework, cutscenes and overall level design. Going through the missions stealthily is pretty difficult, and I usually end up in a giant shootout every time. This isn't helped by the fact that the framerate can fall pretty bad when there are many enemies on the screen.
Anyway I suppose its an OK game. I think my technical problems may be caused by my burned copy of the game, as I have yet to read a review that mentions those same problems.
-
Dead Rising, and I'm finally almost done it. I refuse to buy DR2 until I beat it, which has taken awhile since the whole "bombs in the underground" part made me lose motivation to play after I died several times. Finally decided to give it another shot today and I cleared it, so now I'm basically finished and I just need to escape on the helicopter. Kind of annoyed that I have to run all the way back to Isabella before I can get on the helicopter when she doesn't even come with me(as far as I know).
-
Finished Riot Zone on the Turbografx CD and Dragon Fighter on the PC Engine .
Started Dragon Saber , also for the PC Engine .
-
Put Assbro aside for now. Decided I wanted to play through Super Paper Mario and actually bother to finish it.
Loving it so far.
-
Currently playing through the first three Jak and Daxter games on the PS2. Great games.
In Jak 2 right now, after the first battle with the Baron.
-
Somebody knows a good strategy game in single player? Haven't got the time to play online :ninja:
-
Juggling Cross Edge, Brawl, and Unlimited Cruise 2. Trying to keep myself occupied until I get another PS3 game or when I get a Slim PS2 next month.
-

Thanks
I grew up playing the C&C series, but I don't like the new games. Maybe I give Civilization a try again.
-
I went back and continued playing Captain Blood , this time on the Steem engine emulator .
Save states ahoy !
-
Black Ops! I'm already kinda bored with it though so I plan to go buy Bayonetta tommorow
-
I finally got around to completing RDR, though still not 100%. I also just beat Undead Nightmare, which was awesome.
-
Finished my playthough of the first two Golden Suns in preparation for the third one coming out this week. I hadn't played them for a while, so it was pretty fun. I managed to get a Tisiphone Edge (rarest item drop in the game) without even trying, so that was cool.
-
Played Dance Central on the Kinect last night. It was a lot of fun!
-
Okami - Took me a while to really get into this game. Once I got Bloom and the firecracker ability, holy shit! I'm in love with this game now. So pretty…
Final Fantasy VII (PSP) - Currently in the deserts below that...theme park. Always hated this place. Always hated deserts in general in video games.
Persona 3 (PSP) - Fought a boss battle today, and had a real struggle with it. Once I beat it, I decided to venture further to reach the next Old Document. Got killed, never saved, and I have to do that boss battle AGAIN. Fuck...
Eternal Sonata - Just got Salsa. Fucking love Salsa, almost as much as I ADORE Viola. I just need Jazz, and my dream team is complete.
-
Let me guess Insider…...random mudo or hama spell to your face?!?
-
Let me guess Insider…...random mudo or hama spell to your face?!?
Hama was the last way I died, in which it was a mass Hama cast.
This time, I forgot that my Persona had a fire weakness, and my opponent used Maragidyne twice in a row.
-
I just finished Trio the Punch - Never forget Me .
You know , the weirdest arcade game of all time aparently ?
And to be honest …...it is sort of lacking . I dunno if I should do a full review of it , or if you people would just prefer I posted it here , given no one would be interested anyway .
Screencaps (not mine)

I hear you.
Last time I checked, you were only at May but now I see that you are already dealing with [yne] spells.
I'm currently at August myself and I'm enjoying it so far, even if the downgrades compared to P3 FES (which I played 2 years ago) kinda bore me. However, being able to finally control your allies in battle is a great improvement. This was the major flaw of the original game in my opinion.
Hama and Mudo spells aren't that much of a problem in this Shin Megami Tensei if you got some Homunculus. But you'd do yourself a favor to keep some of them for the final fight. -
I can sympathize as well. I hate fighting Thrones or any enemy in Strange Journey that knows Hamadoon or Mudoon, or whatever the spell is. At least the game throws you a bone by having most of the main character's armors be immune to Hama, leaving only the Mudo series to worry about.
-
Continuing Captain Blood now .
You people should try it .Every single damn one of you .

Currently playing with Amnesia (damn scary) aand Two Worlds.
Amnesia is great, this is the only game that could ever make me fear. It's just that great (not really the only one, Penumbra was scary too, that's the previous game of Frictional Games). It takes place in an old castle (I think) and we are in the XVII. century (again, I think). You (Daniel) don't know much about anything, since you drank something that caused you amnesia. All of your knowledge comes from your diary pages, notes, and short memories you find. But you are not alone… somebody... something chases you.
It's a great game, really. But you should try Penumbra first, I think.
Penumbra takes place in Greenland, in an abandoned mine. You are Philip, who's looking for his father, who sent you a letter after his death. Again, you are not alone, you have those who help you (in different ways and they have some surprise) and those who/which want you dead.
There's a tech demo which was released before the actual game, and it's free. Just search for Penumbra tech demo and you'll find it.
The first part of the game, named Penumbra: Overture, came out in 2007. Penumbra Black Plague followed it in 2008. There's an expansion, called Requiem (2008)
Penumbra Collection has all three.
But first, you should try the demos, you won't regret it.Two Worlds: still playing it, it's my style. Reminds me of Morrowind in some ways, but there are too many too long dialogues. Other than that, it's good.
Wow, I wrote too much.
No Maam: I think I'll try it, looks like a pretty good game.
-
If you need a walkthrough , this is the only one I found .
-
@No:

Thanks, but unless I'm really stuck, I won't need it. But thanks, nonetheless, I used some help almost in every game I've ever played. Except Doom 2 but that's another story…
When I'm done with Amnesia I'll give it a try.
-
I'm afraid this is an old class adventure game .
So…...at the very least , remember to write everything down . Including every single location you go to .

Okay. I remember when I played the old Medal of Honors on the Ps1, I didn't know english very well and I wrote down every single task I had to do and translated it with the dictionary word by word. It was so much fun, but also time consuming.
-
That sounds like it's be extremely boring and tedious. English is my first language and I couldn't figure out how to do half the stuff in some of those games.
-

This game is fun , but you can get royal screwed when you don't write down the coordinate of a planet you've been to and need to return to , because the locations are generated randomly each game . The game has a total of 32,768 locations ….......so yeah .
I have a few other recomendations , if you'd like to hear , given no one else does .

Sure, I'm curious. A few hints couldn't hurt.
