Anyway, great chapter, good to see that the Titan Three can casually take down Pacifistas now, although it is interesting that Luffy used Gear Second, Sanji Diable Jamble, but no Ashura from Zoro. Guess it means that Gear Second and Diable Jamble are no longer the final techs for either Luffy or Sanji, because I seriously doubt Zoro has surpassed them to such a degree.
Oh, and to people complaining about Sentomaru watching Luffy talk to Rayleigh, what the fuck do you expect him to do when the Former First mate of Roger is standing there. If he went for Luffy and was stronger(not saying he is, they are probably around even or someone having slight advantage now) Rayleigh would come in and send his ass back to Vegapunk as broken down as the Pacifistas.

It's called consistency. Oda explained how Gear Second works. And the way it works disallows partial activation. I don't care about how logical or illogical things are, as long as they remain internally consistent. Partial activation of Gear Second is not. I don't care if they even offer some throwaway line about it, I just want to know Oda's actually thought about it and that he hasn't just ignored what he initially said about Gear Second for a cheap power-up. I think better of him than that and want to hope that's not the case.

I doubt that Iva was actually trying to kill Kuma, while Sanji clearly didn't want to waste any time with the Pacifista and kicked it to a very vulnerable part to finish the battle quickly.

I feel like they way they destroyed pacifistas relatively easily is a bit too much. It was seen in the Marineford War that it took a few New World Captains to take down a single one, this would make Luffy, Zoro and Sanji around Jozu/Vista level. I'm not sure how anyone can oppose them now that they are this strong.

Yeah, what are you talking about? Their are veins and blood in luffy arms. Luffy is a rubber man. He can pump blood back and forth in his arm? Right?

I dont want to go in detail here, but with Haki he could somehow create a barrier within his body which makes gear2 just work on a specific area within his body. Also for the pumping he dont has to only use his legs ..he could do the same in a smaller scale with his fingers for example.
I think the PX-0 is the strongest Pacifista of them all. I doubt Sanji and Zoro would be able to take down Kuma that easily. Iva obviously couldn't do that either.

The part people have trouble with is that G2 works by speeding up the blood flow throughout Luffy's body, making it go faster gives him more power. How do you only speed up blood flow to one body part, and not the rest of your body? My only thought on it so far is that he constricts the blood vessels in the rest of his body to force more blood to one limb for a short period of time, but that's really just speculation.

death wink it's "only" air pressure,it doesn't have "penetration power",it's meant to "push" not to pierce or cut like a punch,a kick or a sword cut.

It might be either Haki or Kuma's Nikyu-Nikyu devil fruit power. I see Iva as near Rayleigh / Mihawk power levels, so I'm pretty sure she would have been able to OHKO a PX (since Sanji is able to so easily). Although, like all other okamas, I think she's being held back too much as a gag character and never really allowed to "own" anyone. Anyone else get that feeling?

If this sort of thing is given as the explanation, I'll accept it. It'd be wrong biologically, but at least it means Oda would have thought about it and came up with a half-plausible concept. Any blood going into 1 part of the body has to come from other parts of the body at that same rate. Which means whole body blood pumping. Pretty much what semil said at the start of that quoted bit.
My issue isn't with partial Gear Second as a whole, although that concept itself is a bit silly. It's that at the moment we don't have the facts to understand it against the backing of what we know about how Gear Second actually functions, and my worry that we may not get an explanation.

Iam aware of the fact that Kumas upper bodypart was already more or less out of that metal Vegapunk uses to create those Pacifistas.
(Prove is, that he already was able to shoot that laser from his mouth and the spot Zoro sliced open showed us that half of it was already mechanical.)

With her unique ability, not physical force. Her kicks broke stone not their armor.
So in two years Vegapunk failed to make fully machine Pacifistas or do they bleed just because they are older models? Newer ones now being completely mechanical.
I'm just going with the real Kuma being more durable than a Pacifista. Makes sense being the prototype. Engineers always go all out with a prototype if they have the resources then mass produce cheaper more efficient to make models. We all just assumed Kuma=Pacifista with mind and DF when we really have no idea how PXs are produced. When was it even confirmed they are made of the same metal? Both could be stronger than steel metals with Kuma's still being the more durable one.
Don't see the issue with Gear 2nd for specific body parts. You're ok with him biting into his skeleton to inflate his bones and then his bones somehow being very solid instead of puffy like a blimp(what Lucci expected) but this new skill is too much?
This chapter went as espected (Luffy etc showing off some strength) and I loved it.

Not as easily, I don't think. I don't think Oda implied that Luffy was able to move faster than the speed of light. I think Oda implied that Luffy had enough mastery over his Kenbunshoku Haki that he was able to see where the PX was aiming and get out of the way before it fired. Kizaru, I would assume, would be much much faster.

since 2 years ago.he was anticipating some growth but the Haki attack was a shock for him.
