There's always SnoCone. He's still leading, I'd say, but the competition is starting to become quite interesting with gabz, Gigglepuffy, Rboar, Buster Call, Habaneroo to a lesser extent and co. around. I guess -10 isn't that bad after all.

Gabzila is not on RBoar's and Puffy's level honestly, or at least, I never figured as such. Like, her review is a funny fangirly thing, while RBoar and Puffy keep themselves from the light, stick with insightful, professional and hilarious comments on manga and other fictions. Few could be comparable to their knowledge in that field, like Stephen, Aohige, etc.

Well, out of all on-going, long run manga series that are released weekly, One Piece is seriously the best, both in quality and popularity, hence the superb activeness and variousness of this board compared to those dead forums of Berserk, HxH, Vagabond, etc., which has gathered us many knowledgeable individuals. Thus, for the time being I have not found any better internet site to discuss manga/anime than Ap, aside from that damn blocked NPC, especially in regard of those old, classic works that seem to be unknown to most of young people these days. Some places just can't discuss beyond Naruto, Bleach and One Piece and some other goofy shounen.

One Piece is my favorite japanese comic book, it was for eight years and will be for however many more it takes. I know works that are better written or drawn than it, incompairably better even; I can't say if it's the best currently released, since the scanlated manga is only a small part of japanese manga market; but I will never love them as this one.

You've hit the bullseye saying it gathers one of the most interesting reader communities of different ages and interests - from children to adults, like our own BC Survivor, or an Afghanistan war veteran I know from our russian fandom. Yet, it's hard to deny that a large part of fandom is ignorant, dumb and annoying. Popularity takes it's fee.

There aren't many weekly manga magazines, so, based on some researchs and what I have read, I am pretty sure OP is the best among those long run, weekly, currently released series, though I would gladly be proven wrong by someone else more knowledgeable. Of course to me OP is not the best manga of all time, or even close to that.
The frequency in release of a series plays every important role in making the forums dedicated to it active. The liveliness of a forum is also one of what attract people the most. And, LOL, thanks to people like Zephos this board has put bad posters in discrimination thus making it better than most, so, for those reasons, it is not a surprise that many intelligent readers would like to reside here. Still, yes, we can't deny ignorance remains a large part.
Anyone who thinks Narutofan is the worst has not seen the forums in my country yet.
