Lets see, the core concept here is "With great power comes great responsibility", when Luffy reaches Raftel (and be crazy strong) and learn the true history, he would undoubtedly come to realize that there is still stuff that needs to be corrected and that he, as the Pirate King, is now responsible to do that. You can't be free when you have responsibility, therefore in order to create a world where others are free, he would have to fight the greatest evil (maybe WG, maybe revolutionaries). At least thats how I imagined it.

Roger became ill and couldn't do that himself when he finally became strong enough, so he urges others to try and reach the end of grandline to find someone (remember Crocus and WB saying that Roger was waiting for someone?) strong enough to finish what he couldn't and thats where Luffy comes in.

The series focus has always been that to a noble man, treasure is not gold or materialistically valuable things, but things which one holds dear. To Roger; who could hear the voice of everything, who created the great age of piracy, and who is described to hold a similar personality to Luffy; doesn't something as basic as the philosophical truth regarding freedom seem fitting to be the greatest treasure worth risking your life for?

By the time he's PK he'll be considered the greatest evil like Rogers and WhiteBeard were. Any world war won't determine peace because so far the biggest threat against peace is pirates just like Luffy.

You see how many people were killed and towns looted after the war? Thats all pirates. You think Luffy is going to stop fightings or stop misbehavior between the revolutionaries the marines and pirates?

How do you know that? His former Crewmates include Shanks, Rayleigh and Crocus. If they are any indication to the type of philosophy Roger carried then:

Shanks: Saved a drowning Luffy at the cost of his arm; assisted WB in the war by engaging Kaidou, another Yonkou,

! Officially put an end to the WB war

Rayleigh: Saved a pirate crew he has just met by engaging a freaking admiral, assisted in saving slaves from a life of peril,

! Helping Luffy in his training

Crocus: Assisted a Pirate Crew he became barely acquainted with by looking after their pet whale, cared so much about that whale that boarded a Pirate Ship and searched the whole of the freaking Grand Line to search for the same Pirate Crew, protected, again the same whale by risking his own life…

These are all selfless deeds performed by member of Rogers crew for the welfare of others, they may be Pirates but they are capable of doing good.

How the hell did you come to this conclusion? Luffy has been helping out others for the entirety of the story and you think he doesn't care? He has been known to fly into rage if you mistreat your own crew in his presence. Believe me, that guy has morals.

Alexmason–welcome to the forums! It's a great place, but it takes some getting used to. There is a "culture" unique to this place, and to "get it" you need to read a lot and post cautiously at first. Give yourself some time, k? Your enthusiasm is great, but I'd suggest you wait awhile before starting any new threads, and take the time to check out the forum rules.

The Marines only have one base in the New World, so even though the strongest Marines reside on G5 doubtlessly, it is clear they don't have that much power. That said, all four Yonkou seem to be enemies to one another.

Everyone of them has a territory, and everyone of them is fine with that.

They don't work against the WG tough, the WG is giving them total freedom in the NW.

No. Why would you assume they are? The scanlations of spoilers are released a few days earlier than the actual issue of Jump in Japan, so actually if you read the spoilers, you are getting them earlier than Japanese fans (unless they read them too, of course, lol).

When did he heal himself. We have no proof he did. We know he's a tank that can take damage, Prisoners were firing cannons while Candle Champion Luffy was fighting him.

We don't know about the Blues. We do know it's possible to travel between them(Sanji was born in the North Blue, and was then in the East Blue).

And we do know that some pirates do attempt to leave the Grand Line via Calm Belt, as we've seen with the sick part of the Rumbar Pirates. It is possible to travel back to the Blues out of the Grandline, but it's EXTREMELY dangerous, with no wind current, and Seakings.

His legs are obviously gone. I'd say that makes him a Logia, not a Paramecia. He is not just creating the poison, he is becoming the poison. Since I don't believe Oda has officially confirmed one way or another I would take this page as evidence of Magellan being a Logia.

Magellan is a Paramecia as he can not turn into his element completly. When Luffy did his Jet Bazooka, Magellan actually was hurt, likewise with Ivankov and his finger stabbing thing. If he were a Logia, both attacks would have went right through him with no pain.

That said, both the picture above, him tanking the cannonballs and Ivankov suddenly becoming an idiot fighting with stabs instead of winking, is part of why I think Magellan had some bad writing of being suddenly so powerful no one could stop him once the end of the Arc, just for a sense of panic/urgency.

The only time I recall Smoker being hit was when Luffy launched into him from behind in Alabasta, and Ace when he fought with Blackbeard. Ace's case is obviously justified, and Smokers was…well a logia has to actually 'turn on' his power for it to phase through him. Someone like Crocodile has trained their abilities to activate like a reflex so he turns his power on just before he is hit.

And for what you said with Magellan's final attack, that wasn't Logia. He used a different type of poison, and shaped it like some devil. The poison surrounds him, and as you can see during Impel Down it looks like he's melting into poison, or sweating it. The poison has a thick look to it, and when he uses his attacks he seems to get covered in it, like how Mr. 3's hair lights when he uses his abilities.

Magellan's body is always poisonous. Not like Ace or Kizaru who can literally turn their bodies into their element 100%. Magellan's blood is poisonous, his sweat, his breath, etc. while Ace and Kizaru's bodily functions aren't. Thus, even though if memory serves correct, he wasn't covered in the Hyrda, he still had some type of it on his skin.
