I might be just a whiner, but this trading of votes sickens me and is against everything this tournament should represent. This should be about popularity, campaining, voting without any restrictions and most of all, about having fun. Don't know about you people, but I sure am pissed with myself, if I vote a character and afterwards see a campaign, an effort of a creative individual, which would've made vote for the other. Having promised something one might regret later is stupid. Taking advantage of people like this is not tolerable, even though it's just a game. Decide your votes by reading the campaigns, not like this.

Go guts, I love how they actually show his personality changing over time and you can clearly see why….. where as with bad writting like sasuke he just goes from loving his friends to impaling them for no reason with no serious events happening

! Gut's character is forced. It doesn't come off as natural. He is original potrayed as a psychopath. Then gives him a sob back story making him seem empathic and sympathetic to his buddies. And then after their death the sympathetic him is still potrayed in his interaction with the catatonic Casca and bam instant transition into the psychopath with the only minor change of trying to maintain that "sympathetic feeling".
! Fodder fights last 4 - 8 chapters and theres like 3 - 4 of them before each boss battle. There is almost no character development or feeling of the story moving.
! Berserk was most interesting durning the past flash backs.

Not really. DBZ was a huge part, nay, DBZ WAS my childhood… I just was never crazy about Goku. Goku is bland. I realize that's the whole point, but it doesn't stop him from being bland. Alucard's no better.

I hope calling a character bland isn't character-bashing...

You know those guys that never even read Berserk but love going around in forums with avatars of Guts all like "Yeaaaaaaah, he's hardcore, man"?
That's why he's over rated
I swear to god, I was once on IRC, on a Anime channel, they started a discussion of who was more awesome, Guts or Batman, everyone said "Yeaaaaah, guts", I sent a private message to all of those who said Guts and asked "Hey, you read Berserk?"

More than half of them never read it, and some of them lied and said they read it, but then they couldn't give me random information and could only give me a synopsis that was probably taken away from the Wikipedia, I shit you not
