Hah, I actually bought that set for those 4 figures, and am splitting the rest with another member. Luckily, someone wanted a few of the other figures, but not the Marines.

You can try paying for the singles via Ebay, or if you have an anime store , sometimes they'll open them beforehand to sell. Otherwise, you'd have to get the whole box or try blind box buying and see what happens.

D8 Archonia has a VERY limited release ;v; I saw some other place a long time ago… But I don't remember it ;v; Cuz I canceled it there cuz the day after I placed my order it got up on Archonia ;v;

Yeah got them from ebay. But i bought a complete WCF set. Buying these two alone was harder to get then a full set.

Nice haul, congrats on your stuff too, thanks for posting pictures, makes me that much more anxious hah. BTW, that is pretty normal. We know from the first frame colletion from Plex that the secret is actually fairly rare (not quite as rare as the MBH/Anime Heroes secrets) and you don't get it automatically if you buy the whole box like bandai/banpresto box toys usually. Sorry you were disappointed….truth is I don't think the secret from the 1st set or this set is worth it....Gomu Gomu fruit for Luffy instead of meat? hahaha.....and this time Bepo (who looks like some badly costumed horror movie antagonist) creeping up on Law's frame....rofl...

Welcome, I'm sure you'll enjoy CA weather no matter where you are (less you're visiting central California then it may be a bit hot). Yeah, those frames are the reason I started collecting figures and goods, they really are too cool…too bad these have no bounties, but given the information we got, it's understandable.

I'm guessing it will be in the 70s or 80s (Fahrenheit, not sure what that is Celsius) and cool enough for an Arizona wimp like me to wear a jacket at night, but I imagine someone from Holland will be running around in shorts and a t-shirt all the time.

My Sanji and Brook shipped today. Can't wait to get them. ^__^

Vegas is sooooo damn hot. I was there a few weeks ago on business and it was over 90 degrees Fahrenheit at 10PM! How can it be that hot with no sun out???

Forecast says the high temperature for tomorrow there is 106 degrees Fahrenheit. That's just wrong…

Well of course they are alot cheaper since they are alot smaller and lighter..If you can't afford POP i would suggest you going into this line..

Wow…I should totally move to that part of the state! The expected high for tomorrow here is looking to be roughly around 114**°F....

First things first: Don't ever let yourself get talked into buying anything you don't really like just because that figure/line is considered to be the best by some.
Just buy what you really want to have, regardless who made it. Otherwise you'll just end up having some figures that you will probably sell sooner or later because you've never been really attached to them.

Well, as far as I'm concerned the POPs are nothing compared to the GLM. Sure, the GLM have some rotten apples, too (Shanks, anyone?) and there aren't that many as of yet anyways, but even if they were more expensive than the POP, I'd still prefer them almost every time.
For me, they just look a lot more like the character they represent, most POP lack that … that certain "something".

I have owned a few GLM and POP, but I sold most them ... nowadays, I'm only collecting Luffy merch, so let's take him as an example. His POPs (the first, the neo and the Strong World one) are just bad. They always managed to get his face totally wrong, he just doesn't look like Luffy. His Neo POP is ok, yeah, but not something breathtaking, especially not if you think about the price. His GLM version however is wonderful.
Sure, the pose is just as boring and standard as the POP, nothing dynamic or anything, BUT they got his face right, and that's always the most important thing for me with ANY figure.

I'm loving that GLM figure to death ever since I got it XD
Aaah, but maybe Luffys new POP will finally get me on the POP bandwagon, who knows XD

As for the Figuarts ... uh, not my cup of tea.
And that's the thing: There is no "best" manufacturer or "best" line or "best" anything. Period. There is no such thing as a "hierarchy" that everyone agrees with.
Just buy whatever you think looks good (and what you can afford), that should be all you need to know.
Or just ignore the price if you absolutely NEED TO HAVE a figure, that's fine, too :ninja:

I feel the need to jump in any time someone is asking about GLM. They are cheap, detailed, and basically awesome in every way, unless you don't care for their decidedly medium-sized stature.

The biggest drawback is that so far, the line is literally 50% Luffy variants, and the other characters are kind of random (good characters, but still, random.) When and if the whole SH crew is done in this style, it'll be amazing. Sanji's on the way, but DBZxOP Zoro doesn't count!

Haha of course, no one can take away one of the 7 wonders. What I meant is to us Californians, that's just usually part of the tourist package when people head out to Vegas (what is it? like 4 hours away by car? Not that bad). But yeah, I've been to Vegas enough times for pleasure and business to know that it can be bad….been outside during 127 degrees + and that was definitely not fun.....the worst is when it rains in Vegas in that weather (yeah for some reason it happens) and it instantly turns to high humidity (ala Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Japan type humid) momentarily....been around enough parts of the world to know I don't want to move out of San Diego. =P 75 degrees pretty much year round. =D Yes this makes me a wimp in extreme weathers...all my friends say so....especially my good friend in NYC haha.

Wobbly Ships and Pirates vs Marines FC set arrived, and have now been divided. Unfortunately, didn't really get any good doubles: extra Marine Wobbly Ship; extra Garp and extra Kizaru from the FC set. Garp is already claimed, and thinking about giving Kizaru to someone, or selling/trading him in a day or two.

Don't know if anyone is actually interested in the extra Marine Wobbly Ship for $8 (includes shipping for US)?
