@Kaiolino:
The ball was played to him in the first pass. He was offside. This is often sanctioned by the FIFA, even though the opposite player can regain the ball.
Not in my FIFA.
My point is that nobody complained about this goal, yet everybody complained about the goal against Uruguay, where Van Persie let the ball slipm through his feet and everybody called it foul play by the Dutch.
Was there really that much of a complain? Is not like they win just because of that goal, they were clearly better than Uruguay.
Everybody seems to hate the Dutch for some reason, this game.
Fixed for you :happy:i don't hate them thought, is just hard for me to cheer up that kind of football.
for example, Van der Wiel didn't even touch the ball nor the player, yet he got a yellow and people use it as a reason to say the Dutch use foul play all the time. Same for my earlier stated examples where things done by other countries are a-okay, yet when the Dutch do it they're babbies.
Sure, it was all just because of that foul, that one fake foul alone, not like the 6 yellow cards, the expulsion or the 28 fouls committed (some that seriously deserve a direct red card) matters anyway.
Let's look at the facts. The Dutch hadn't lost or tied a single match for two years. They had about 27 goals for ang 7 against them. They are number 4 of the world. They are higher than Germany, France, England and Italy. You don't earn a ranking like that by playing foul.
For me they could be the first place and the best team of the century, if you play a FINAL like the Netherlands you deserve all the criticism they are getting.
