-Dragon gets some association with Sabo.
-The reason he is there is explained.
-We know more about his abilities. Hints. And his personality.
-Dragon in action. Murdering Tenryuubito. Or the Kings.
-Something out of his plan. Sabo maybe an unexpected element.
-Ace and Luffy is safe (Bison: of course). The rest of Grey Terminal…may be dead. Their life may depend on Dragon.
-Dragon and Ace may get to know each other, but Luffy, sure, won't.

he sure gets a bigger role in that flashback when the tenryibuto are there.

but on the other hand Bluejam also wasn`t introduced in a "good way".

on another note…maybe this king will later become one of the 5 gorousei.

East Blue Goa Kingdom's King. Will they meet this King in the future, when they are going further and further into the the New World, far anf far away from East Blue? Will they return to East Blue at some point? Or will the King go to Grand Line for some issue?

The same way Croc, Duval, Kizaru, Aikanu, flashback Brook, Impel Down Croc again, Episode 0 Croc again, Dadan, etc. all had their faces covered? To build mystery and suspense and be dramatic? (or young Shank's face always being specifically covered to avoid showing if he had his three scars from Blackbeard yet…)

Oda's gone that route many many times before. I assume it to just be his usual bag of tricks.

Always possible its a face we know... and he doesn't want us to realize the connection yet.

Or, the anonymous royalty is a thing to say "it doens't matter who this was, it was corrupt higher up".

Or the flow of the story dictated that the king be in that spot, but Oda wants to give him a real reveal shot in a chapter or two.

Lots of possible reasons, but its not at all beyond Oda to blatantly hide a face for a sometimes much later reveal.

It's a hat. The revolutionaries have an animal theme to them.

Which has led to some speculation that CP9 will join them.

That wouldn't make any sense, unless he thrashed Moria while he was King. Moria started recruiting his (current) crew around 10-11 years ago (When he went to pick up Dr. Hogback, he already had Perona and Absalom), so the loss of his previous crew had to be at least 11 years ago.

im not sure.. for an important figure like sabo would mark his first appearance in a cover that no one ever remember… it seems to me that the guy is only usual revolutionary..

but one thing that is possible,... sabo will be a way of SH reuniting.. other SH crews --> robin --> sabo .. well just my guess.. so i guess after this its time for ruffy to meet his father, coz sabo--> revolutionary --> dragon >.
