hmmm, pirate with an eyepatch? You got it, dude!
Theories That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread

Yeah, I made due with that stuff… You can ignore the language crap too, made that up.
It is interesting to wonder who this pirate may be. Maybe Oda showed it in one of his early works, like Romance Dawn 1 and 2.
Yeah I'm just stripping it down to Rio Poneglyph isn't a poneglyph but a person.
-

I must be blind or something, but I fail to see any eyepatch pirates in that page…. <.<;
-
hmmm, it's the one who brings a sheated sword. He is down left from Vista.

That's a scar, not an eyepatch.

Hmm….
I'm pretty sure it's a scar, not an eyepatch…
EDIT: herr_sebbe beat me to it.... LoL! I guess getting those pictures together took longer than I thought....

I suppose, it could happen that this is a person. I'd really hate it if it is because it would be a really "long-living" person, for 800 years. Might be the work of a DF, or something, but let's hope not.

Oda could clear that up with an immortal DF or some phantom DF or something else.
He's a wizzard

i think bonney will have closest to that type of fruit. if she can change her age like she can others, and it actually keeps her young not just a physical change but actually makes her a legit young person again.
cause yes i know we saw her be young. but what i mean is if she is actually 100 years old but makes herself 20, will she be really 20 in body or will she still be on verge of death by old age.
-
Interesting. Rio Poneglyph = Eye-patch Pirate. Who would have thought of that? Oda uses so many languages in his manga.

The language stuff was made up. Rio means river bed not pirate and I don't think poneglyph is even a word. It's definitely not Czechoslovakian lol.

I personally think that San Juan Wolf is a fishman that holds the properties of a sponge.
I reckon I was either the first to say this in this forum, or so… I was the first in the other forum I post, and I think I stated the same thing here in the chapter discussions long long ago...
-
I think Raftel can travel through time. sI dont know how it will happen..
Kidd (magnetism - Bermuda triangle style)
BB (black holes)
Vegapunk….
But I think we might get a void century - ancient kingdom arc....and learn how DFs were created...and the original bearer of the D...(Davy Jones) -
it could be that raftel is saved with a few doors or something like that which can only be opened via information you have to geather through the porneglyphs around the world..
so robin will be the key to open those "gates" which can`t be opened without the spirit luffy has and those infos robin will collect. -
I believe Kuma is spying on the World Government and Marines for the Revolutionaries (he was a "former" revolutionary himself and despised the government) and only he and Monkey D. Dragon know about it.
-
BB and Kidd will become rivals like Kuroro and Hisoka.
-
Don't know if its been discussed but Croc here says that the Demon Guards are "Awakened" Zoan users
!
I wonder if this is a translation error or if there is more to this? I think that if it isn't a translation error it is a way for Chopper to become stronger while still keeping the Monster Point uncontrollable which is a part of his character IMO. I don't know exactly how Chopper would look (Fully Human???)

Maybe not spying but he isn't fully on the Marines side, in SA he speaks to Rayleigh after sending off the SHs and says "believe it or not" to Rayleigh after Rayleigh ?s his motives. He didn't send them to their deaths obviously but why send them each where he did and not send them all to the same island is the unknown portion. Add that w/ Iva knowing him well and you can conclude that he has his ties w/ the Revolutionaries, another theory could be that secret as well as Croc's is somehow intertwined

Monster Point is the awakened Zoan state.
-
Monster Point is the awakened Zoan state.
Hmm, and I thought that Chopper ate the Human Human fruit. NOT Reindeer Reindeer fruit…
-
hmmm, but those demon guards, we dont know what they are. Is it something who ate Koala Zoan, or Koala who ate some DF.
-

If there's something more than monster point…
And no one told us to awakened state must be more human or reindeer in chopper's case to begin with.
So if you have a better explanation for the monster point go on then. -

So if you have a better explanation for the monster point go on then.I think the moster point is exactly what it is described as, DF going wild. The rumble ball alters DFs capacities and when it is gone too far the DF gets angry and lets the shit hit the fan :P
Maybe awakened Chopper gets a humans upper part and lower is reindeers, like a satyr?
Yeah, I was half serious.
-
I kind of am now thinking that the Demon Guards were prisoners with Zoan DF's in ID, who were shipped off to Vegapunk to be experimented on, and are just prototypes of the Zoan form of a Pacifista.
-
All awakened means is that its a Zebra thats eaten a Zebra devil fruit

kind of intesting thought. but didn't sadie-chan say they were still kids? :wassat: if i remember correctly that is.
-
Curly Dadan is actually Big Mum.
It fits her character, seeing as she is a huge woman and also her attitude since she was part of the Mt. Corbo Thieves.
Her punishment was to raise Ace and Luffy instead of being behind bars!http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/582/17/

Just a theory, ya knoow. Probably been said before though:blink:

Yeah, but she's also kind of messed up as well. Plus, their minds are kind of kid-like now.
-
She doesn't look like the faces on the four Yonkou stuff, though. That Big Mum being Curly Dadan…
I could be wrong, but it doesn't seem like they even resemble, plus, they're merely a mountain gang and ruthless band of criminals, not "strong" infamous pirates or whatever.
-
My theory is that Big Mom is a Big Mom lol
-
Big mom was WB's lover. and is an okama

Last chapter made me kinda curious on how the rules on Amazon Lily came into being. It's been stated by Nyon that the rules of the island were passed down from generations to generations.
My theory is that the inhabitants of Amazon Lily might be a remnant of the times during the acient war and were either neutral refugees or female members of the losing party, who lost their families to the war and had no where else to flee to. So they wanted to start a new life without the possibilities of new military conflicts. Since it has been men, who started and fueled the great war, the easiest way was to forbid them entry altogether.Additionally, I think the ability of using Haki, something apparently almost exclusive to the Kujas today, might have been a common technique taught during the ancient war, but after the losing side (to which the D. family might have counted), was defeated, arrested or killed, it was only passed down on Amazon Lily, making it a mysterious power in the present time line.

Pretty good theory, IMO.

so you think that they are descendents of people from the hidden history?
same as I think that the shandians are also from losing side. and many think the D's are also descendents of those people.
if this all true, i wonder how many other places there are survivors from this hidden time that haven't become integrated into the WG's rule.

I think that is true because we know the World Government is the victors of the void era, etc it would explain how sentamaru, the admirals, and high ranking officials know how to use it. It was passed down Marines who know the truth/ are essential fighters.

Is it me or does crocodile seem to smoke his cigar more now after Impel Down. he must be really tensed up or something after Prison I suppose.
Old Crocodile
New Crocodile
Anyways, in Arabasta he was rarely seen with his cigar, especially when confronting the strawhats. You only really saw him with it when he was relaxing or gloating. In Marineford he sports it literally everywhere. He has it when hes attempting to assault whitebeard, mihawk, doflamingo, when hes escaping impel down, when hes rafting, even when hes falling from the damn sky. That, or he must really enjoy the brand he found in Impel Down somehow. I especially never saw him perform attacks with it prior to the recent arcs.

Where's my Moria's stitches thread?
-
You'd smoke a lot too if you had the possibility of being "intruded upon" in the showers.

Where's my Moria's stitches thread?
Waiting on you to create it
@Cyan:

Especially if that intruder was San Juan Wolf.

-
And it will be the best Moria thread ever created.
Then go ahead already, your only promoting a crocodile related thread anyways.

I just want this thread locked asap
-
Hey, did you guys notice Sanji was smoking his cigarettes more in Thriller Bark than in Enies Lobby? i guess those Zombies really stressed him out.
-
The tortures in Impel Down made Crocodile (sexually) impotent. That's why he smokes more.
-
@Cyan:
"Oh look…I spotted him…"
He would not want Croc anyway. Can you imagine how that would feel….with the sand....and......eh.....
He most likely repeatedly violated Jinbei.

Lol. Jinbeis virginity.
-
Remember that Crocodile's Cigar thread, what a horrible thread that was, it was like a One Piece chapter without Moria.
-
Remember that Moria stitches thread? Oh wait…

I have a theory that Franky will learn the way to put fruit powers in objects and give Thousand Sunny a devil fruit power lol
