I know, there are some figures that are more expensive. But that's why I'm rooting for Banpresto. Even if sometimes their figures end up not being as good as the prototypes, at least I know they have the potential to make really accurate sculpts, and are willing to sell for less. Most of the GLMs were really high quality for their price, though. If given the choice between one POP and three-four GLM figures, I'd take the GLM figures. Even Shanks. LOL.

You're right about the accessories though, those are fun. But materials-wise little guns and caps and birds definitely don't cost more than a few cents, probably. I'm aware you like your POPs and don't seem to have much faith in Banpresto, so you probably feel like they're worth it. But my opinion is that they're not worth it. 20 bucks extra for a detachable hat? =w=

Ace's face is rarely sculpted accurately, but it's your opinion also that the Marineford Ace's face is ugly. I don't think it's that bad, it definitely resembles Oda's more recent Ace artwork where he has a larger forehead, prominent hairline, and more streamlined jaw. It's far better than the POP's completely different facial structure. I do agree that Kuji Ace's pectorals are a little large, but it's much, much better than the yellowed, wrinkly sunken in pectorals of the POP. Whew. LOL

Sure every prototype can end up being totally awesome or a horrible failure. It's strange with he is my favorite figure of the GLM line but my least favorite figure of the POP line. You say you don't buy POP Ace because you don't like his look but does the price matter here? Would you buy a figure that you dislike so much for $10? I have to disagree about GLM Shanks he is the only figure which i regret buying. With him for example yes i rather have my 20€ back and invest these 20€ into Sogeking POP.

Now you are exaggerating. I would not like if Hattori, the mask and the hat of POP Lucci were glued to his body. Not much faith in Banpresto? You must have missed my WCF love which is imo far far far superior to the GLM line. For me POP plus WCF is the way to go while with GLM it's hit and miss for me. I believe i have much more faith in Banpresto than you have in Megahouse.:happy:

Yes, the price mattered. I actually almost got it once because a friend bought one at a convention but realized her mom would kill her if she saw it, so she was going to sell it to me for 60 dollars. I almost got it just cause it was Ace, but realized I didn't want to spend 60 dollars after looking at his face and thinking it didn't look like Ace at all. And now I'm quite glad I didn't.

What exaggeration? I didn't exaggerate. I said that making extra things like those shouldn't mean adding 20 dollars to the pricetag, and not that the little parts shouldn't have been detachable. I wouldn't have liked if the little parts were glued to Lucci, either. What I meant was that it could have been cheaper even with detachable parts. Why are you exaggerating the facts again to prove a point? LOL

And I was disagreeing with you and saying that the Kuji Ace is not as bad as the POP, it's better. As an artist, I pay quite close attention to facial structure. .-. But clearly we'll disagree since you already dislike the Kuji Ace, so just stop there. lmfao.

I actually adore my Lucci POP because it looks decently like him, though certainly not perfect either. His skin is slightly yellower than normal and his lips are a little thin, but otherwise his essence was captured nicely. And the crisp black suit was great, even if his hips are jutting out a bit. He's the only POP I've happily went and bought \o/

Yeah, sounds like GLM prices. I do actually agree that it's strange the figure would be so cheap given its size. Not really when compared to POPs since POPs are kinda inflated already, but when compared to GLMs, which were already cheap…that's where it seems weird.

A lot of the figures they've produced for Buggy so far are actually really good. ___ He's just a really fun character to look at. Really colorful clothing, blue hair, bright red nose…course, he'd slap me for that one. But yeah, I wonder when a larger scaled Buggy figure will be released, too.

The only two Buggy things I have that I can remember right now are the little keychain from years ago, and this little one where his torso is missing and he's in his mini-me form - that one came with Chopper. I think it was a Gashapon set from years ago. That Buggy was quite literally the only good looking figure in the set, lol. OTL

Yeah, I love love love Enel because Morikawa is just so talented when it comes to expression. I never would have guessed he did Hatchi's kinda roly-poly klutsy voice either, heheh. I'm not the biggest fan of the new interpretations of Sephiroth by Square Enix since I prefer his original, un-womanly portrayal, but Morikawa's voice is just always awesome. He's done so many badass characters. Dante in the DMC anime....\o/

Speaking of Enel stuff, I really want that magnet version of him one of these days. ;w;

LOL! XD I used to be a hardcore Ace fan, then it went to Eneru, and finally Kaku. Although Kaku isn't manly, I'd definitely take him and his gumdrop-ness over many of the other OP guys.^^;

Naww, Ace is buff, but it isn't really that. I admittedly wasn't as huge a fan of him just two years ago as I am now, and he was buff back then, too. It's mainly the sensitive side to his personality that none of us really knew about until now. He was polite, powerful, and mysterious back then, and of course good looking, and I liked him but…I always paid attention to Lucci when it came to manliness.;w; Regret. Regret.

Speaking of Lucci's manliness, though...damn. If a girl can like both sensitive guys and aggressive guys at the same time, then Ace and Lucci are my perfect balance. <3 ohhh

Ahh, I did adore Enel. He's actually pretty high up there on my favorite character list! He's so lazy and ditsy and childlike but so deadly at the same time. But I think when Oda finally revealed that he had a punch perm under that gangsta bandana of his…oh, something in me broke. LOL

I just love Lucci cause he's so visceral and physical and wild in his deadliness, whereas Enel was kind of ethereal and supernatural. Well, they both are supernatural when it comes to Devil Fruits, but Lucci relies on physical force (and, as Chopper implied, animal bloodlust) in both his human and leopard forms, I guess. But now I'm sounding weird, so I'll shut up. LOL
