If the episode is good i don´t give a shit about who made it
The only thing i wanted from this episode was to see more of BB crew, specially his encounter with Magellan, which was worse than crap instead being like the manga picture

Also, its interesting to note that the Blackbeard/Sky Island flashback was canon (at least the part about the age of dreams).
Regarding Lucci, I've always assumed that his Rokushiki mastery was similar to that of Haki, in it allows the fighter to attack without even touching the opponent. Even though he did physically kick Luffy an an extremely fast velocity, he could have incorporated some of his Rokushiki to actually damage him.
One of the best episodes in a long time
That ending was so badass!!!
@Al!naJames:
All people who think this episode was good must be blind.
I haven't seen animation THIS bad for a long time, ESPECIALLY not from an A class animation director like Ishizuka.
It wasn't that bad, but I'll throw in that Crocodile's facial expression when he was talking to Blackbeard looked horrendous. Same goes for his voice.
He's still bleeding from the mouth. Which disproves the Luffy can't bleed from physical attacks theory.
He didn't bleed when Alvida smacked him with the club.
(was looking for a reason to throw this point in :P)
@Al!naJames:
Would you mind taking the drawing I sent you off your wall and burn it/throw it away, please? Thank you.
Oh, stop being a spoiled brat, will ya? Also, I did take that pic down a while ago. Didn't want to tho.
very good episode, this. Not reading the manga, so this one had a lot of nice foreshadowing regarding Blackbeard. A bit heavy on the unnecessary flashbacks, but otherwise fine. And the Minotauros filler was absolutely needed - I fully assumed that WAS canon until I checked the chapter afterwards and saw that it wasn't.
very good episode, this. Not reading the manga,..
wow, such crasy ppl still exist, what a pain in the ass .
Horrible, horrible episode.

Wow, a perfect example of trolling :getlost:

a pain in the ass? did he bother you or something?
Did Crocodile's voice change or sumthin?. Also, i prefered Jimbei's original voice.
ALl in all, great episode. Loved the bit with Magellan right at the end…man he is fking scary as hell when he wants to be.
Did Crocodile's voice change or sumthin?
No, he was just speaking in a different tone than usual.
Also, i prefered Jimbei's original voice.
Yeah, a lot of us did. Unfortunately, his original voice kinda died.
luffy taking minotaurus punch like he did in the past with alvida was nice.
also the last scene with magellan looked badass.
BB looked shitty in that episode!
There were a ton of flashbacks but besides that 0 filler and the pacing was excellent
Also when Magellan hit the entire BB crew with Hydra with no buildup it was just like WHAMMMM out of no were, one of my favorite scenes
Overall one of the best episodes in a very long time
^^ What he said ^^
Next week - Naoki Tate = awesome to the max

Luffy vs Minotauros was filler. :ermm:
It was really good filler, though.
Curbstomp filler is always good filler.
Especially when it improves on the manga, as Minotaurus just mysteriously vanished in the corresponding chapter.
On a totally different note, looks like Random Curiosity, a relatively well-known anime blogging site, is now covering One Piece. That's neat. I like reading their stuff.
What site ?
Oh right , didn't notice the link

Don't blame yourself, I edited it in afterwards.
Oh right .
-Unslaps oneself-
Anyway , I loled at them naming the episode after a move from last week , and a fight that practicaly was over like two minutes into the episode .
Gotta love their smart marketing skills .

Maybe this scene was yet another of those occasions where Oda is forced to cut off something due to time restraints..
I love how anyone who doesn't like anything about One Piece is automatically considered a trolling butthurt fanboy.

Hakihakihaki.
Yep, no reading their stuff.

He also seemed to have forgotten that it's Marshall D. Teach, and not Edward. Which to me seems a bit more telling than the fact that he uses a term that's also in the official translation. (Ugh. I sure hope FUNi manages to get rid of that by the time the DVDs finally reach Amazon Lily…)
EDIT: Or... It actually seems the "Edward Teach"-mistake was only present on the RC front page, as it's already been corrected in the blog-post itself.

Don't forget this little gem…
As charismatic as he is, I’m still jealous of the doting Hebihime-sama…
EDIT: Should specify I was looking at the manga post >>
