My bad… I was a little busy awhile back.
Anyhow, seems like a few pages are there to do, but until I get down to those, I want to answer something to ElementNick:
-Zoro would need supplies, he has been shown to carry NONE at this moment; food is a supply.
-Perona was there for a while, having food must have allowed her to survive... This suggests that she lived off of some supply like that. Meaning, she holds this "supply".
-If Zoro finds a vessel, or something, he will need supplies. As far as we know, Perona holds those supplies.
No matter what the situation is, unless Oda wrote in a cheesy pick-up guy with a fancy ship somehow, Perona should at least share her supplies with Zoro. Plus, he cannot navigate for shit, so he is bound to get lost... Which, means he'll never even be able to get off the island. And this has happened, he ended up coming back to the same spot he started off, so reason wouldn't be hard to track if this repeated...
Furthermore, Perona's desire to get off of the island will have been left without any resolution, therefore, Oda will have hurt himself in his story, because he left off a character and didn't "close" the story for that character.
I hope this explains everything, since "sea travel" is a harsh principle, Zoro has already been scowled by Nami before when he didn't hold any supplies and had to resupply on Gaimon's island. It would probably and should probably play a part in this situation if Zoro would dare to venture out at sea alone. Of course, the situation allows this thing to work.
Based on my interpretation of that panel, I believe that the tired Perona is using AP form because of her grave exhaustion she had when she was watching over Zoro, or whatever... Since many may say that she didn't do that, but no matter. Perona was shown "tired" and "sleepy" so it seems like she's resting her "real body" and using AP form to help Zoro locate something. That something probably being a ship.
Then, with her body being safe with the supplies that they would need to travel, the two are able to not only search better and more effectively, but they are able to work at a reasonable pace. Zoro searches the ground level, and Perona searches about the sky... The two are able to see more than what would have happened when a tired Perona was shown walking next to him.
With that, Perona is able to do a rather helpful deed for Zoro's travels, and probably would take a ride with him also after Zoro got the supplies he needed for the trip; water, food, etc.
Looks like I've got a few pages to read now...
