Really good chapter IMO. Charle's still a bitch, but she may change her personality after everything in this arc and be not quite as hateable. Happy going Natsu was the highlight.
I know now that Gajeel will play a part in this arc at some point. If their "mission" was to capture the Dragon Slayers, that obviously means Gajeel as well. Perhaps that shadowed cat he met before was about to guide him to Edo.

Exactly. It's the equivalent of a woman with two asses. Equally disgusting. Mainly because it completely defies what our human instincts are attracted to.

but seriously most likely they will just show her leaving bathroom or something in towel and skip that entirely. the blood is a no bother for me except like 2 scenes this whole time so far. i mean i never notice there isn't any blood exept for like when gray was pierced through and i think one other time i was thinking they should have had blood. not sure why you guys always think showing blood makes something so much better, whatever, guess just tastes. don't bother me with or without except scenes that need it like zoro's sacrifice scene for example. that would be dumb without blood.

they need to learn to make the fights feel more "fluid" the action scenes still feel like a bunch of damn still frames

Which naked Erza scene are you talking about? I don't remember that one.
And it's not that I think having blood makes the episodes any better, because I'm enjoying them just fine without it, it's just in the fights it feels like something's missing, is all. But I do agree it doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

Maybe later they will use it a little later in the series. Yu-Gi-Oh!, as an example, had almost no blood until the midway point, and then in the final arc had quite a bit more than usual.
blood has to be used in moderation. Too much is comical and sometimes kills the mood, none just makes you think in that universe people just don't bleed.

I couldn't tell if that was part of the arc or not. I forget some things of the Phantom arc, like the fact they retreat and a second battle comes later.
I'm waiting for the individual battles. Hopefully the animation team will add more to the erza vs. Aria fight…which if they don't will only be a second long.

Must be the time slot. But one piece comes on at 9 am in the morning and still has blood. Although they seem to be cutting back a bit. Especially with the color of it. Reminds me of bleach when they changed it times slot. All the blood start turning into saliva and slight scratches with black blood. Dunno how it is now stopped watching Bleach anime a long time ago. I have no idea why any of you had such expectations of this arc. I like Fairy Tail, but it's pretty much Mashima's MO to go the boring and more predictable route.
