Yup. Definitely the current one.

My favorite arc ? The next. Always.
Now that is the best possible answer. Kudos to you, sir or madam.

If Skypiea didn't exist this arc would probably be the best. The sheer scale and characters involved in it was handled pretty flawlessly, and basically every named character had a role to play, with every single event staying true to the intricate power hierarchy this comic has always had. Literally the only disappointment was Sengoku. If that's not skilled writing I don't know what the hell is. Yeah yeah the pacing suffered a bit here and there, but overall it was amazing.
I'd say Ace dying was unpredictable, but some people (me included) saw it coming like a year ago. However it was probably the best decision Oda could possibly take, and it still surprised the hell out of 98% of the fanbase. No one worth their salt reads this because ODA IS SO UNPREDICTABEL LOL WHATS HE SMOKEN anyway, seeing everything play out and the way it's executed plays a gigantic part.
As good as Impel Down was, this is definitely the better arc.
Also people wishing for the spotlight to be on 1vs1 fights, and people saying awful trash like Enies Lobby is better than this are a load of mongoloids.
Water Seven & Rocketman were superb, but Enies Lobby itself is probably the weakest part of One Piece.
. . .
And all is right with the world.
-
Gotta say CP9. It was full of new things, and had multiple twists. Nice action and length too.
I know I'll be flamed for this, but I didnt acually like the Skypiea arc ALL that much. I dunno. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt GREAT either.
-
Even after the war ended, Enies Lobby IS still the best for me.
-
-
well, after the end of this arc it's safe to say it's the best.
-
Well in this thread we really can't state which Arc is best…..
All we can do is say in my opinion this thread is best or I think this is best one.
And then give out some points that we loved each :DSo I'm going to say Marineford....
"I AM WHITEBEARD!"
I like that the most :D So it is the best Arc for me.... at least until next one is out. -
The current arc .
This will likely remain the case when the next one starts .
-
The problem with Enies Lobby is that half the villains could have been replaced with robots and I wouldn't have noticed or cared.
-
CP9 was just in general all around badass. From Rob motherfuckin' Lucci, to one of the best flashback characters, Tom. Hell, even Luffy's black pants were fly.
Completely badass. All of it.
Also, Baroque Works is up there too.
-
Kaku was the most popular non main villain villain character ever. Pasta Machine 4 ever!
-

No the real problem with Enies Lobby is that the Vice Admiral's , who we have clearly seen can and do fight , did absolutely nothing to capture /kill the SH's , setting up the myth that they are spineless fodder and that the admirals get their powers through some mystical ritual involving sacrificing young virgins to totem gods or something .
The second problem was that it was extremely agravating for Oda to pull his "OMG dey died , no wait, they didn't" stunt with the Galley La and Franky Family . Their "death" was an extremely intense moment and it shows just jaring stupidity on the marines' part when not one of over 3000 people gets the idea to double check if they realy aren't hanging on somewhere . If they would have at least done something in the arc to help/aid the SH's escape …..
-
I've enjoyed all the arcs, just currently reread the Skypeia arc and loved it. Enies Lobby was probably my favorite. In the beggining I was like "Omg their all gonna die" but then all the characters had great showings. Chopper in that monster form was spectacular and Usopp was great as Sogeking, really epic.
The archipaelogo arc was perfect. The way people gave recognition to the Strawhats were some great moments, I can't wait to see the reactions of the World after this arc.
I don't know, all the arcs were great in their own way. I like Zoro's new sword in TB, too. can't wait to see the future arcs.
-
Still on the lead Yay.
-
ehhh…it's hard to choose one, i loved all, but! I chose Thriller Bark...why? i like to laugh and I was laughing a lot during TB XD Nami x Usopp x Chopper combo were the best lol.
-
Here are my favorites: Water 7/Enies Lobby/Thriller Bark/Impel Down/Marineford. I actually thought Thriller Bark would be a short arc but it turned out to be a long enjoyable arc. Water 7/Enies Lobby was awesome. Even though the CP9 are bad in Luffy's POV, I thought they were badasses. Also, Luffy vs Usopp was awesome. Can't mess with Usopp! I felt that Enies Lobby was just the conclusion, which it was but I thought it was just as enjoyable as Water 7. Impel Down felt quick to me. Good but quick. Marineford was emotional and enjoyable. At the end, it made wanna punch Akainu in his face. Even though I'll suffer massive degree burns .
-
Thriller Bark was short.
-
CP9 will always be my favorite. I definitely group Thriller Bark with the War arc as just "Arc 5" though.
-
cp9 all the way. saw alot of new skills. sogeking was off the hook. alot of drama in this arc. it was OP at its best which is saying alot since its always great
-
CP9. Definitely. We got to see just how kickass each of the crewmates is (with the exception of Brook). I mean, I was hooked on this series before, but that's when it turned into a complete addiction.
-
Thriller Bark is second to last?
-
I'm a big fan of one on one battles, so CP9 was great, it had a good plot, and although the Whitebeard arc was good, it was really just a big brawl at the end. characters like Ivankov was good though. :D
-
Yeah, CP9 was an awful arc from almost any perspective. It's ridiculous to see how popular it is.
For me, Skypiea > Thriller Bark > Baroque Works > War and Rescue > East Blue >>> CP9
-

Really? I'd like to know why you feel that way. The only thing I didn't like at all was the measurement of power the CP9 had. The douruki(sp?) power level measurement.
Voted for Thriller Bark. It was just crazy all throughout. I would have chosen the War and Rescue, but I decided to choose the best arc with the crew being together.
-
The War and rescue arc. We got to see so much development and an awesome farewell to whitebeard.

I thought Enies Lobby was kinda dull so I can understand you there, but I thought Water 7 was excellent. :/
-
It's a hard choice, i love all the smaller arcs in the bigger arcs: Drum kingdom, jaya, water 7, shabondy Archapeligo
-
Shabondy was the best Animated arc, hands down…
-
Shabondy was the best Animated arc, hands down…
really I didn't like it, they stretched out episodes too long made things a lot less interesting, i thought it wasn't as well done but oh well
my rankings
war and rescue > CP9 > Baroque Works > Thriller Bark > Skypeia > East Blue
-
I'm currently watching the One Piece Luffy's crew seperation ark and I'm loving it!!!! I also really enjoyed the Thriller Bark ark as well!
-
noah's ark is quite good too.
-
I liked DBF. Why isn't that there? And I liked Impel Down but HATED the War arc.
W7 was ok but Enies Lobby I hated. Only interesting bits was Robin's backstory and Monster Chopper. (The Escape and Merry's Death were ok too.) The fights were just regulated to The boring trio and Franky. Oh and Nami. Which was okish.) And CP9 were the most boring enemies we've seen. (god help me I wanted to hurt someone when we had their terrible TERRIBLY BORING cover story.)
Considering the poll is missing half the arcs it's pretty meh. Although I have no overall favourite arc to be honest.
-
I loved the Arlong Park Arc. It was the moment when I understood that One Piece was truly a masterpiece. It was not as time consuming.
Zoro vs Mihawk was epic.
Luffy vs Usopp. The W7 arc was great just for this moment.
I loved Davy Back. It was hilarious.
-
I like all the arcs, but I think my favorite was East Blue, with CP9 in close behind.
I just liked the stories behind Nami and Usopp

My favorite arc is Skypiea followed by Thriller Bark. My least favorite arc is CP9.
-
Baroque Works, it was so well written and so damn interesting, Vivi, a Duck squad (?)…best of the best.
At first i really disliked Thriller Bark but weirdly enough the anime adaptation of that arc quite changed my view.
I re-read it later and now it's my second favorite.
Least favorite : Skypiea, bored me big time.
Not really a fan of CP9 either, but it was entertaining nevertheless.
-
east blue and the war are my favourites
-
My favorite arc used to be the CP9 arc (mostly because a lot of my favorite characters were introduced then), until Ace's death and now with this flashback which foretells awesomeness to come. CP9 is now my second favorite, and Skypiea (so very underrated) my third.
-
I want everyone to know that if they've listed Skypiea in positive light they are officially members of the REAL arlong park forums.
Those who talked negatively, or outside the light and will never understand what I man.
-
Just because there was a great adventure part in Skypeia that doesnt take out the no reason fights part (big dogs fighting - what the hell, random shandians fighting skypeians, other random characters fighing more random characters…) , the villain with no motive part....
There was so much useless TIRING fighting in Skypeia but everyone keeps mentioning the great adventure.Skypeiaz becoz its the real apforumz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The war is the best thing.
Epic characters, epic situations, character development, the greatest thing ever created in shonen manga. -
The fighting didn't take any longer then the other meg arcs, and it was easily better then the fighting in the overrated snore festival of Enies Lobby. And if you needed Ener to have some deep concise motive beyond power hunger and the moon then you're barking up the wrong tree entirely.
Alos lol at you freaking out at Holy.
OMG A WIERD ANIMAL????? IN ONE PICE???? FUKKKK!! -
Skypiea was very poorly written, only a pathetic and brainless fanboy can deny that.
-
Do you hear the vuvuzelas blowing?
One of the most dissapointing chapter ever.
512 chapter was perfect, 513 a joke…
-
CP9 is leading. Love it!!
-
What the hell came on Whitebeard Aliies assemble !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just like this post.
