@Mr.Ammar:
there are some people who thinks Thriller Bark is better than Enies Lobby! what a strange world we're living in
Yes. Yes there are.
Zoro's fight was short and to the point. It was no less epic for taking up less time to get through, and I always found Kaku Vs. Zoro tedious and drawn out.
Usopp gets better character development in Thriller Bark than Enies Lobby too, where he basically just burnt a flag, got nearly killed by Jyabura and shot Spandam in the face. Usopp showed his cunning against Perona, working out how her devil fruit worked, and let's not forget the way he killed Kumacy was pretty badass.
Chopper got a little more character development in that arc too. What it means to be a doctor, his views on life, his heroes betrayal to everything he believes in.
OH! Robin's big debut in contributing to the crew as well. Let's be honest, outside a few moments in Skypeia(grabbing Usopp from the clouds, moving Zoro, Chopper, Wyper and Ganfall whilst they were out cold), she hasn't exactly helped out the crew that much compared to the others.
Also if fights are your thing, then the most the new attacks in Thriller Bark were pretty creative: Docking, the Lightning slingshot fired Brook, Franky's Pillar-Chucks, Robin's handwings(impractical, but the first really interesting thing she's done with her powers in ages), Nightmare Luffy power up.
Hell, I'd even say the enemies were more interesting:
Moria's ability to steal and manipulate shadows to create an almost perfect defence was far more interesting than a Leopard Devil Fruit without a doubt.
Perona's ability is capable of defeating everyone not called Usopp, and a callback to DBZ's Gotenk's Super Kamikaze Ghost attack was kind of nice.
Absalom. A lot of people didn't like him, but he did give Sanji the opportunity to be a knight in shining armour, as well as be one of the first people to steal a dream from a strawhat.
Hogback having some influence upon Chopper's past gave him a little more depth rather than the cutesy mascot he'd mainly been recently.
KUMA. Can you honestly say you didn't enjoy Zoro Vs. Kuma?
That's not to say the arc didn't have any problems:
Dr. Hogback basically seemed like a redeemable man who'd got too deep in with Moria until a hastily put together plot point to show he's deeply evil. Seemed a little contrived to be honest
Sanji's devil fruit dream. No mention of it ever before, thus again, it felt like it was hastily put together.
But overall, the arc wasn't drawn out, got on with it, had more interesting designed characters, creative attacks and introduced two big reoccuring characters at once(Moria and Kuma). Lucci and the others don't really have anything left to contribute to the story.
