Yes, I do agree, the resin one is kinda off with the way of WB standing. But overall, it still looks better than POP.
I think MEGAHOUSE rushing to much with WB and jinbei. Their pose is kinda static, and no charisma whatsoever.
And for zoro, I really wish he can lower his hand.

That Crocodile POP looks crap. Where's his color? He looks like he's got a pack of sausages in his pants… I really hope they don't release him like this.
As for Smoker, the 2005 POP is still a first issue and all first issues with Neo versions are selling for around $100 or more on yahoo auction. There are collectors out there who are buying the first issues and Smoker is still a rare first issue. It's a great time for a collector to pick up a dirt cheap $200 NIB 2005 Smoker. It will go up again.

Seriously, I don't understand why KUMA is so expensive. He's big, but he's hollow. I don't think he cost that much. Carue is even heavier than KUMA, but even Carue cost less than KUMA. I'm pretty sure it just the way megahouse making more money.

OMG Awesome! I was soo wanting on a Whitebeard p.o.p and now there is one! This is definitely a good year for One Piece!
Mmyeah. Croc's outfit is so.. well, black. Those Alabasta clothes fit with his animal theme. I guess these are pretty classy though.
Whitebeard shouldn't be as tall as Kuma. o_o Not counting his weapon anyway.
By the way, did anyone else notice that the latest POPs are not bending their hips forward anymore? At least not as much as in the past :P

yeah you're right! i'm happy megahouse decided to not use this pose with every male POP they produce … although i've to admit that this pose looks great on lucci ^^ but mihawk for example is like "BAM!! thrusts his hips forward look what i've got!!"
i was expecting zoro's suit version to be awesome as hell ... -___- unfortunately megahouse again gave him this strange facial expression. gosh! you know how to do it right! you did his first SW POP just fine T___T ...
but while i don't like zoros face ... megahouse did an amazing job with sanjis :wub: they really did improve his prototype ... that expression is fabulous! and again .. thumbs up for putting a cigarette in his mouth!

Regarding the most recent news, the Crocodile POP is most certainly win, and while I'm also getting Sanji and Zoro, I believe their prototype faces looked better (color-wise), but the finish on the clothes and guns is amazing! I'm not thinking about buying neither Jinbei nor Whitebeard, but I'm patitently waiting to see them in color. As well as Miss Hancock and her pretty ambitious cleavage :P
Man I'm really lovin' that Sanji p.o.p! He looks soo sexy. Zoro is nice too. Now I really can't wait till Hancock and Franky are colored!

Distant Avalon is beautiful like you both said. I'm kind of debating if I should buy more Golden Caliburns to sell later since it's gonna sell for a lot due to exclusitivity in Japan (sold by Goodsmile only). But we will see how my mood is in a hour (starts selling).

I for one and regarding the bigger/more expensive figures only tend to buy the ones that I really want, but as I have checked, most of you here seem to be avid compltetionists and this year either is really awesome, or pretty bad ^^;

Onepiece is not suppose to be realistic. They are full of color.
I like his Arabasta cloths cos its iconic. And we're going to get buch of ppl dressing with black anyway. His orange clothes makes him more standout.

Thank you! Jimbei's pose looks really nice, but there's something missing on that model and I can't put my finger on it-hope it's because it's the uncolored prototype And those details on the fingers can be extraodinaire in the final product!

DID U KNOW BLACK DRESSES, so i am guessing all the chars are fat ppl. hahahah jokezz xD. Hope he comes with a alternate hand. There should be something like a Sand effect there. I mean he has the pose to have something like that.

I know that this is mostly Oda's color scheme which is why I say "why Oda, WHY?" I just find too much black (respectively dark colors) plain boring and prefer a bigger diversity of colors. It's just a matter of personal taste.
Other than that it's not exactly like Oda's version. The pants on the POP are dark blue while Oda's version is dark grey. And even if I don't like Oda's color scheme his version is still better because here the pants don't look like jeans while that's exactly they look like on the POP. And jeans are a no-go on that kind of outfit. Which pretty much is where my overall disappointment with the POP comes from. :sad:

-Croc is great. Don't care about the colors because the stance is terrific.
-I can't believe they'd make boring-ass Jimbei before: Enel, Dofla, Kidd, Law, Kizaru, Magellan, hell, anyone.
-Whitebeard DOES need to be bulkier. I'm thoroughly unimpressed, and I'm sure the price tag will be even more of a drawback.
