Well, if Sengoku is a Gold Logia… then Kizuru laser beaming off his head would have the same effect as DoFlo string cutting Crocodiles.

All right! With Ace free, now it's time for advancing in a different direction, once Marco and Joz are free. They got what they came for.
Galdino was the hero of the day; him fulfilling his promise to Bentham was something unexpected. Guess it shows how even the most greedy of people can still be honor-bound.
Garp reminds me of Alex from FMA, to be honest, only harder on criminals and less of a Muscle-head. Both of them could be in way higher positions with their abilities, but their kindness holds them back. For Luffy and Ace's sake, though, he did the best thing he could do at the time.
Sengoku's powers are… interesting, to say the least. I joked a while back that Usopp would eat the Kyojin no Mi... But Sengoku's ability to grow large and make him... shiny, it looks like, is so similar that unfortunately it makes a Giant Zoan unlikely.
Kizaru has this massive grudge against Luffy, it seems. I hope near the end of the series, he wallops the shit out of that guy. I don't care if they even fight the other two Admirals, but at least let Luffy beat up Kizaru, Oda. Please.

i see a problem when everyone could escape those admirals…i mean WB could hold 1-2 back right before his death..but still those admirals shouldn`t let escape so many big names..would be a total failure from them and they seem as much profis as noone around.

Black Beard apparently has no ship to escape according to there being no ships around when the prisoners where escaping.

Its obvious that whitebeard will hold off the marines to make sure the pirate crews could escape. shiki was beaten after a long fight bye a younger garp and a younger sengkok, just imagine his strength or better Rogers strength. In this Case, whitebeard looks really bad, i hope he will get an outburst which will be epic, and then he will be defeated by blackbeard.
this chapter is a good one, i like it, but it is only a step, a step to a chapter which pown us all, i think youÄll see what i mean in the next 4 weeks

Ah! It's so good that Ace is finally free now. To be honest, this arc was starting to drag on for me a bit. It just felt like an endless slugfest of people beating the crap out of each other (not that there's anything necessarily wrong with that, mind you) but it felt like no real progress was being made. But finally, maybe we can work towards wrapping this arc up.

If they're smart (and I believe they must be if they have come this far), they will have left for the new world already. Think about it; it's the perfect time to leave.
The majority of the marine forces have been pulled out of the area to guard the "execution". Many of the stronger New World captains went along with Whitebeard to free Ace. Therefore, there's a lack of competition and a lower risk of capture/interference by the marines. Since the Supernovas (probably) lack any allegiance to WB, they can remain outside of the fracas and fly under the radar.
FINALLY!
Every chapter inched toward this scene and it finally happened in a wonderful way.

Im not that excited over Sengoku's ability really, it failed to stop Luffy.
As much as I wanna say the rescue arc is a success and basically over…I can't. Things can definitely go sour. The marines could have a "in-case Ace is freed" plan which would throw a monkey wrench into the whole situation....Sengoku's ability can't be THAT useless.
And then we have the point of now everyone escaping MF safely. I wonder how Oda will untwist this (or dare I even say TWIST!?)
I love luffy and Mr.3s collab to save ace. That was great stuff. Though it's a bit disappointing that Akainu and Aokihi are mysteriously away.
Anyway overall a great chapter.

Someone at Narutofan Forums looked up Buddhism powers in fiction or something like that. I think maybe we can have an idea on what to expect from Sengoku when he fights.
- "Anima–A yogi concentrating, meditating and fixing his attention on this quality of the soul during forced exhalation, draws together his entire energy to a point which is then made to penetrate into all bodies so as to make them vibrate according to the will of the Yogi."
But he cannot again draw his energy from this little point into the voidness nature which is the final truth of Buddhism. He does not believe in that.
2) "Mahima–This is also a special quality of the soul. A yogi by mere inhalation of air makes his body assume a large size and comprehends the universe in himself as was done by Krishna."
This universe spoken of is the worldly one and does not include that of Buddhism, and he cannot enlarge and extend himself from his universe to the voidness nature because of the same reason given in the last Siddhi. This outsider is riding on a magic drum and begins to fly up the hill the next morning while Milarepa was still sleeping. A higher quality raw would be great though. I think I've said this for the last few chapters (which is great credit to Oda), but this chapter just excites me for the next one. I think a lot of that has had to do with expecting what would happen in the next chapter, though. This time though, with Ace freed, any number of things could happen next. I just get the feeling that the next chapter will be a lot more than random badass interacting with other random badass, and be something even more pivotal. Either way, really pleased with the chapter.

Mangastream chapter just came out. I don't think they screwed anything up too bad. But then again there wasn't really anything too difficult to translate, so the probabilty of a translation fiasco like last week wasn't that big.

Every good chapter. I really do like Mr. 3 more and more. The villains in One Piece impress to no end. The Garp fight was kind of predictable but I still liked how it was done I can't wait to see the next chapter and what it will bring.

Well he's in Gear 3 and thus solid. Normally the punch would rebound, but since he is not "malleable" in this state, all the kinetic energy from the punch is transported thru his inner organs, potentially dealing damage.

The dominion of their universe belongs to this world, and is only equal to the iron cakravartin of Buddhism. There are still higher ones such as copper, silver and gold. The last one conquers those before it.

i wonder what other thing oda has planned for luffy. i thought that luffy would only stay conscious up until ace was freed and then his fatigue would finally catch up to him. it looks like he will keep on going for a while. what is there for him to do at this point? ace is now free so luffy doesn't have to worry about him anymore. i guess at this point luffy and iva will plan an escape route and then put that plan into action and buggy and mr 3 will probably join them. what about crocodile? will he now leave as well since there isn't anything for him to do? he doesn't want to fight a weakened whitebeard so the only thing left for him to do is either leave or protect whitebeard so nobody else takes the glory of killing him and saving that glory for himself at some other point. up until ace was saved the story was kinda predictable but at this point the story really can go anywhere and i love it.
I think Sengoku was panicked or overestimated Luffy, he could take him down without becoming a Buddha.

Yaah this sure is difficult but I was thinking further in the story. It would have been more predictable if Ace was dead.. but now can't really imagine what the relation between Ace and Luffy iwill be and if they are to become like final enemies later on.. would be kinda wieird oÔ

Although it's probably been said before, I do like how Oda has been slowly developing Mr.3's character. Read some old chapters back from the Little Garden arc and then compare the recent chapters (Impel Down to Marinford). Mr.3 has certainly come a long way.
