Theres also a Luffy and Zoro one, they're sandtimers and it says its made by Banpresto >_> Think its some weird unofficial bootleg knockoff item or is it legit? Said it was a UFO prize in 2002.

I think it's legit. I saw one on yahoo auction (they want ¥3000 for it). The photo is poor. Sometimes they put the toei sticker on top.

These are also interesting for Crocodile fans. I don't have any info on how old they are.

My sis has the Mr.3 and the Hiruruk figure from that above set! I have Bon-chan and Zoro :D She also has either Pell or Chakka, I can't remember which one was made x_x; ahah And Usopp. Those figures are at LEAST old enough to be out around the same time Alabasta came out, around 2002 at LEAST.

Could anybody confirm if the Strong World figures are proportionate in size to the regular Neo figures? Will SW Nami and Zoro have any visible difference in size to their Neo counterparts and look silly next to the other Neo Mugiwaras? Maybe someone can confirm this through the Luffy and Chopper SW POPs.

Ebay's bing cashback is huge right now, I got nothing to buy but thinking about collecting the Big Head collections by plex like the rest of you. I see some pretty big price variations on ebay regarding pricing so I wanted to ask you guys, are there bootlegs of these sets out there? How should I watch for this on ebay….this will be hard to do across ebay if there are fakes I guess.

There probably are bootlegs, I haven't really come across any in the big head sets though. Obviously if you find them, they'll probably cost like $10 for the set. Legit sets will be priced much, much higher.

It looks real. Bootlegs don't even bother with the TOEI sticker. Mihawk is already released in Japan but you can't get him in the shops. The only option is yahoo auctions and current prices are about ¥7000 - 8000.

Thank you for the confirmation. Yes I have my Mihawk on order with Amazon japan for the re-release but as you know it's been delayed till mid-late December. My parents in law will most likely come before then and here's hoping for 2 birds with 1 stone….them having less luggage and me getting what I want. Thanks for the confirmation.

P.S. As if Kuma, Bon Clay, Ace, Brooks, and Robin Dereshi POPs (and possible Luffy/Chopper SW POPs if they release in time....come on Amazon) + other OP goods weren't enough for them to drag over here already. =P

That's a good deal for people in the States. The prices are comparable or cheaper than Japan.

Hmmmm, these are quite pricey for gashapons/shokugans…..I think I'll stick it out till the World Collections (non-SW). Those are looking cooler by the minute! Thanks for letting me know!

They are not pricey considering their details and quantity..World collection set is really exp imo :getlost:

Just out of curiosity, what would be the going price in USD preferably for Big Head sets? I don't need the secret figure….so would you guys know what the going price is for Winter Island, Grand Line, Alabaster, and the upcoming Sky Piea? Complete with secret. Maybe the prices I see on ebay is too high, but I'm seeing around $140+ per set and going to $200 for a set....that to me seems quite high for these things....correct me if I'm wrong....I've never collected these things before.

I really love the Franky Panson, but usually Panson's in general just..are NOT that cute x_x; I have a few Kinnikuman ones, and I kinda think they're ugly-cute..I mean..I like them, but they are by FAR not the cutest thing I have x_x; I canceled my pansons though, I wanted the Franky one REALLY badly..but..there's figures I wanted more XD I don't hate them though, and those pictures are REALLY nice O_O The Nami panson though..that is ONE HELL of an UGLY Panson x_x;

These are for complete sets of 24 without the secret. Secrets are generally cheaper on ebay than on yahoo Japan, where they can go for ~$100 each. The ones you are seeing that are $200 or so come with the secrets for the Skypeia set. If you see this price and they aren't giving you a secret or a limited edition figure, you're getting ripped off.

If these aren't to your fancy, try using the search terms "Mini Big Head". That is what they are called in Hong Kong, to which you can find more hits of these mini figures on ebay. I would also do they Bing cashback to get 8% off too.
