Too bad they don't have binder sleeves for this size to prevent wear and tear. I may try to trim the length of a standard binder sleeve and see how that fares.
I think I'll just laminate them

Anyone from the NY area know if these are available at bookstores such as Kinokuniya and the like? If so I'll venture out there next week after the 2 boosters release. If not I'll bite the shipping bullet and order from Amazon JP.
I think it's shaky logic to base the idea of story arcs solely off of physical location. However, I would argue that it is the change in mood, (the setting being a byproduct), that acts as the outlying differentiator between W7 and EL. Although they are overarching, the distinction between Water 7 and Enies Lobby is that transition of attitudes after the realization of Robin's true motives. That shift from the dismal mood and general disarray about the future status of the Straw Hat Pirates, to finally understanding the situation at hand and fervently kicking into 3rd gear (no pun intended). The culmination of that sharp transition in mood, the change in location, as well as the reveal of the main antagonists (which was never fully revealed during the earlier parts of W7), creates enough of a distinction to separate the two but at the same time keep them related (hence an overarching story arc). With that said, however Oda desires to categorize his story is his prerogative, and how it stands currently it seems like he does it based on an island to island basis, based on the wiki at least. I thought I read somewhere that that's his official listing, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
Sanjuan Wolf is a sea-sponge fishman. He was able to fit in Impel Down because since sponges bodies are hollow and sort of amorphous in nature, he is form fitting and can be crammed into a space smaller than his initial appearance to the audience. Sponges need water for nutrients and oxygen, so without having a substantial water source he could not flourish in Impel Down and was smaller/weaker. Some species of sponges cling to rocks, which is why at the Summit War we see him prefer to cling to Marineford rather than enter the fray. In another appearance that further reinforces the idea that he needs water, we see him stationed neck deep in the ocean as the water flows through him providing Wolf with nutrients. Since sea-sponges can live hundreds if not thousands of years, and some asexually reproduce, Wolf will continue to grow and thrive. He has the potential to be the most unstoppable antagonist in the series! OR morph into the savior of the Grand Line, as his travels with the BB crew inadvertently clean up any and all pollution throughout the seas!
Usopp defense force is out in full swing in this thread (and fairly so). Just wish Sanji had as staunch of a band of defenders whenever he's being chastised!
This question isn't about the content of One Piece per say; I'd like to know where I can find (if there are any) English translations of the data books. I scooped up a couple of them at a local bookstore and I'd like to use English references for the physical copies. Wouldn't even need to be scans; texts would suffice. Thanks.
Personally I don't care too much for the saga labeling since it clashes with my original first 23 volumes with the gold trimming and makes my collection look inconsistent.
Regarding the boxed set, it looks really awesome and I wouldn't mind buying that despite already owning every volume. Would have been especially cool if it came with Volume 0 though.
And for the newer editions of the first 23 or so volumes, is the quality of the dialogue any different? As discussed before, some of the dialogue in the earlier volumes aren't as sharp as the later books (mostly East Blue. Seems as if Viz really hit their stride during Alabasta and on). Any changes with those in newer editions or are they virtually the same?
