You do realize if you refuse to comply, FUNimation will more than likely go after your hosting service. This has happened in the past and I seriously wouldn't push the issue. The main issue is the sole fact you're fansubbing a property that in which it is illegal in the first place to do so and is accessable to everyone. FUNimation is free to take legal action and it would probably be in your best interest to comply.
Admittingly, if it isn't FUNimation, then more than likely you're probably going to have Toei go after you. They've been going after torrents as of recent. A group I'm in got hit by a C&D request to remove one of Toei's titles on Scarywater, even though the series in question has not been liscenced (although, there was a good chance that it will be soon).
Whether or not you remove the episodes or stop fansubbing, that is your call. However, don't come running here, bitching, complaining, and whining if something happens.
