He raised some pretty good points, but then just kind of spiraled into nerdrage in the end.
Still amusing, though.

I think it's a much needed nerd rage though.
How can you fuck up Batman's character so badly?
Any and all nerd rage was fully warranted. Also, after seeing that script, I'm now totally creeped out by Frank Miller.
Finally! The NC's tribute to Siskel and Ebert is up.
http://www.thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/13453-sande
Solid tribute all around. Not exactly humor heavy, and a bit on the short side, but it's a tribute, so it's to be expected. I think he was very accurate in observing S&E's personalities, histories, and the impact they've had on movies. So yeah, as a huge Ebert fan (never really read or watched that much from Siskel) I say, well done Critic.
know what would be funny. if the nostalgia critic critiqued the show, the critic. lol
Doug and brother Rob do a commentary on the Nostalgia Critic's Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog video.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/specials/13481-sonicc
Awesome.
Is it me, or do Doug and Rob sound almost exactly alike?
Is it me, or do Doug and Rob sound almost exactly alike?
Well they are brothers. But yeah, they do sound a lot alike.
I know they're brothers, but dayumn… My brother and I don't even sound that much alike!
CR, the Familiar Faces guy, put out a video of the old Cartoon Network groovies (the music videos) Good to watch if you're feeling nostalgiac and have 40 minutes to kill.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/teamt/cr/ff/13571-ff08
I also loved his critique of the current Cartoon Network ("When did my TV turn into the fucking shortbus?!")
Not a bad video, and it brought back deliciously nostalgic memories, which I'm all for.
The captions were kinda lame, though. However, the fact that he didn't include this Groovie still earns him a kick in the nards:

Also, "Al Gore's Wife's name is Tipper" is the best stretch for a rhyme ever.
At long last, the NC's review of Judge Dredd is up.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/13682-jd
"You betrayed the law!"
"LAAAAWWW!!!"
LOOOOOOL XD
A-LAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWW!!!
I think my expectations for that review were a little too high, but it was still a helluva entertaining review!
Man, now I want to see that movie again. It had Dexter's dad in it, too.
The only bad Stallone movie ever made gets the ripping it deserves. Me like.
I watched congo and judge dredd today, very good ones, he's getting even better at pulling out all those retarded moments in the movie and mocking them appropriately. And the last nostalgia chick one (last unicorn) was pretty unique, the whole time she is hiking through the forest while casually talking about the movie, while this other chick is following her and taping her from the side/back while giggling the whole way. You would think this would suck but it turned out very entertaining imo.
NC made his own Holiday Carol: Holiday Clusterf*ck.
http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=18839&page=41
LOL.
And with that, he just outdid every Christmas song out thtere. Not that that's a hard thing to do, Christmas songs are often quite terrible. However, I'm half-tempted to learn those lyrics and go caroling during Christmas, regailing my neighbors with the sweet tones of "Holiday Clusterfuck."
Lest ye forget, it's not strictly a Christmas song, it's a holiday song encompassing Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Halloween. Theoretically, you could go about singing it anytime between the months of October and December.
But yeah, it was great.

Then, if you'll excuse me, I have some caroling to do…!

Ha ha ha, good luck with that. Anyway, I thought the song was good, but personally I didn't think it was quite as good as some other funny Christmas. Like this for example.

I wouldn't go that far. (I love Xmas music) But it's definitely a solid song.
Well, if y'all wanna see Doug tear New Moon a new one here's his Bum Review of it.

just watched his latest review(NC)..
good as always..and also loved that he said in the end that it was at least entertaining to watch it…but he made jokes right there ,where it rly was okay to make it :)

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
Pretty much sums up Twilight in a nutshell, don't it?
Poor werewolves get no love . . . . . . right, Jabura?

This was funny as all hell. It certainly convinced not to see it. (Not that I wanted to see it anyway) Seriously. I saw the first one purely out of curiosity.
And I almost fell asleep. It was also VERY bland, but I guess that's because I didn't read (nor have I ever expressed a desire to) read the books.
Favorite part. "I knew Dakota Fanning was a vampire! Ever since she acted 30 years old when she was 5!" XD
Well, if y'all wanna see Doug tear New Moon a new one here's his Bum Review of it.
At first i thought it was pretty biting, but after watching Spoony's vlog where he deconstruct the entire movie and point out why Bella is the vainest most manipulative and despicable female character in creation what Doug did barely amounts to mild mocking and definitly not tearing it a new one. Still pretty entertaining tho.
^ Yeah, I was just about to mention Spoony's review. Though for some reason it made me hate Edward more than Bella…even if she is a cocktease and completely helpless without a boyfriend.
While still on the topic of New Moon...
lBSA4cekWWg
I'm gonna keep promoting these guys until someone notices, dammit!
I cant bring myself to feel anything about Edward, he's all meh to me.
That's why i couldnt understand why she after being swept of her feet by that Lautner guy (who actualy tries despite the script to portray a three dimensional character) still wanted to marry that pasty piece of wood.
But honestly now, the only thing i hate about the twilight movies is the "romance" betwenn the main characters. The rest isnt really that bad. So i cant really say that its the worst movie i've ever seen.
New Nostalgia Critic: Tank Girl.

You really need a better agent Malcolm McDowell.
I actually liked the comic book scenes.
Did anyone else see CR's tribute to Gigan? The most awesome thing about this episode is that LK makes a cameo in the beginning (seriously, how the hell did he get him?)
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/teamt/cr/ff/14129-ep010
Lk's kinda whoring himself out these days. Nothing wrong with that, but he's alot more accessable than he used to be.

Ha ha, well personally I think it's a good thing. I don't think it's gone too far just yet (but he should be careful) Speaking of which, click on the link to see LK whore himself out in Linkara's latest video.

The bum goes to Youmacon:

L.O.L.
I think the funniest parts were when he ran into a (very well done) Millenium Earl cosplayer, and of course, "DUDE-OFF!!!"
LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL.
Pretty much sums up Twilight in a nutshell, don't it?

I notice that monsters of today are getting screwed over in today's media.
Good thing zombies are somehow always improving. Most of the time, anyways.
No one wants to have romance/sexual fantasies with zombies. Let's keep it that way, too.
arn't there creepy people out there that do it with corpses? that's kinda the same thing.
just sayin
Only the necrophiliacs. Although there's plenty of ghost romance, which is just dead person fetish without the rotting flesh.
Has nobody watched the Youmacon Bum vid!?
Has nobody watched the Youmacon Bum vid!?
I did. I thought it was hilarious! I love it when Doug gets real and interacts with the fans, just like he did with the Casper review. Oh, and Linkara dressed up as the 90s Kid and them interacting with fans that dressed up like them was awesome.
What about his Jack Frost review? Anyone watch that?
can someone explain to me who 90's kid is anyways?
can someone explain to me who 90's kid is anyways?
He's a persona of Linkara's. The character himself, to me, is kind of hard to describe, but he's supposedly a "typical" 90s kid who likes shallow entertainment (like explosions and violence), listens to Nirvana, and probably smokes pot. I forget when Linkara first used him, so if you're interested you may have to do some backtracking.
Bum and 90's Kid at Youmacon was hilarious XD
90's Kid is basically a charicature of the supposed audience of the "Dark Age" of comics. Basically the answer to the question "who the hell reads Rob Liefeld's crap?"
Did anyone else see this? It's awesome. More improv and interruptions galore as Doug advertises the charity, listing off the rewards for donation amounts.

Also, I really liked Marzgurl's latest editorial.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/ir/marzgurl/ane/14331-ep007
I think she made a great point about how modern shonen stories (and anime in general) has become a bit more angstier and emo in recent years. I mean, seriously, just compare YYH's opening to Naruto's and Bleach's.
Methinks you used the WRONG example there.
Remember Sensui? The guy who was all JUSTICE until he saw humans doing horrific shit, had a mental breakdown, stole a video which showed the entirety of mankind's sins, and then went on a WAAAAAH HUMANS R BAD rampage?
He's like the most emo villain in the history of ever.

Yeah well, at least it was just the villain that was emo. Even the most upbeat of Shonen manga, if they have some sort of serious conflict, will have some emo moments.
I need 400$… does ssomeone want to help me? :D
Another TGWTG.com personality who doesn't like One Piece?
@The:
Bah! One Piece is crap, and I’ll have any filthy scallywag who says otherwise keelhauled!
Guess that only leaves Dude in the Suede and Y the Ruler of Time…
Spoony?!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You betrayed Spoony! YOU BETRAYED ME!!!
Well, at least Y Ruler of Time, the MANGA reviewer, knows quality when he sees it.
