Can't believe how hilariously bad it was and how much of a wuss they made the Captain. Can you imagine Captain America pretending to be sick and stealing a car TWICE? Not to mention his acting made Dolph Lundgren look like Daniel Day-Lewis.
And the subtitle gag was brilliant
As Donquiouxte mentioned, the "Heil Hitler!" bit just made me die from laughter. I'm also glad that I wasn't the only one who thought of the old Adam West Batman when Captain America was tied to the missle. NC making fun of the obvious subtitles was brilliant, too.
You know the funniest part? Stan Lee actually approved this movie.
@Senshi:

Stan Lee approves of a lot of things.
I've been waiting for this review for a long time and it did not disapoint. Other than Howard the Duck, this one of the worst Marvel character movies.
Luckily, a GOOD Captain America movie is coming out in 2011, and Marvel Studios is making it so they'll have better creative control!:w00t:
Here's another new segment from Doug called That Cartoon Show.

As a Lost fan I found this hilarious.
Marzgurl did a very interesting review on Power Rangers.

I'm a fan of Lost as well although I've been unable to see season 5. Still this was great! "Pawned, bitches!" was hilarious.
Marzgurl did a very interesting review on Power Rangers.
I new Power Rangers originated in Japan, but I never knew it differed so much.
never was a power ranger fan..(also i watched it from time to time in the morning thought)
and after this review iam still confident in my opinion hehe
New NC video. This was the video I was really looking forward to. The Top 11 NC Fuckups.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thatguywiththeglasses/nostalgia-critic/11136-top11fup
Awesome list, though the video itself was kind of short. Anyway, we get the special secret review next week.
After reading the simulcast thread, it's clear funi needs to make one of those countdowns. Especially with their own Douchey McNitpick.
Not sure if anyone saw the latest AT4W but…ninja-style dancers...that makes the whole video!
lol! I knew that would be #1.
I have my own nitpick, though! He should have included how he left Gargoyles out of his Top 11 Animated Shows list. He's obviously a huge fan, as are so many, so why isn't it on the list!? Why the hell is Peter Pan on the list?
Ducktits Woo Woo!! xD
Someone actually made a music video of it from the Howard the Duck review. xD

He did answer that on the comments for the Top 11 Animated Shows video.
It's on the second page here
And I quote: I get the feeling a lot of people are going to ask "Where's Gargoyles?"
While I remember seeing a few episodes and liking it, the idea behind this list was to talk about the shows that either started something fresh and new or perfected an existing fresh and new idea. Gargoyles, while good, I always felt was Disney's answer to Batman. I know it wasn't a rip off or anything, but it seemed like it was trying to do what Batman was trying to do, and since Batman did it already and better, I felt it was better to keep that on there. I do remember it being a good show though, maybe if there was a 'Top 22' list, it would make it up there. Again, I like this show, I just didn't think it really did anything new or changed anything like these other shows did.
So he reserved it for an episode by itself.
I thought the top 11 fuckups is another classic episode.

I saw it too.
Foolish Linkara. Doesn't he know that well trained ninjas could never catch up with the prowl of a woman with the blood of a common house cat.

The biggest problem with Nightcat was that it was a fusion of Dazzler and Tigra (probably more her "Cat" days than as Tigra) with a Stan Lee who had already lost his mind. (considering though this was pre-Stripperella, he wasn't that far gone yet) Though considering the insanity of stuff like "Dr. Ecstacy" and the "ninja-style dancers", at least it was funny in it's own weird ways thanks to Linkara.
Why is everyone hatin on Stripperella, IMO that was some damn good mindless entertainment.

Honestly I've never seen it but the thing is that it was this obvious weird stunt and that it had Stan Lee's name on it. It's just sad that someone who was so crucial to literally defining a segment of the Silver Age of comics has reduced himself to pretty much creating characters for others that mostly really go nowhere or are too stupid to mention.
Actually, he mainly does a newspaper Spider Man comic, or something to that effect, and making crazy money on one thing or another these days. The other stuff is just side projects for fun. Plus, it fits in with personality, if you've ever actually seen him (he's pretty eccentric; he really does use "exclesior!" in person, and really does greet people with "hello, citizen!" Which is why he is awesome).

I don't hate Stan Lee, I just somehow wonder how the heck, after essentially defining an entire generation of comics, he pretty much makes a lot of really bizarre or stupid stuff as of late. Besides, Stripperella wouldn't even be consider that problematic to me if it weren't to his name attached to it.
Anyone check out nostalgia chick? She's also on his site. She's not as good as him imo and some of her videos I turned off pretty fast (mostly girl shows/movies) but a few are pretty good. The She-Ra and Pocahontas ones in particular.

Probably the best two of hers are "Anastasia" and "Thumbellina"…you'll know why when you see them. (though the absurdity of "I Like Boys" from "Teen Witch" speaks for itself)
Her Labyrinth review is pretty classic too.
I just wish she would update more often. I thought the NC said that the Nostalgia Chick had to be able to update at least once every two weeks. It's a shame. I usually do like her stuff.
I didn't like the Anastasia one much, she keeps talking on her cellphone to famous russian people (supposedly), which are almost impossible to understand..

But that's the whole joke: the ruining of Russian history (and particularly Rasputin) is the main central joke about the Anastasia review! Her acknowledgement of Russian History alongside the fantasy that Bluth tries to portray makes it, sort of like how Pocahontas ruined American history for Disney.
Not a fan of the Nostalgia Chick (humor-wise)…
Nostalgia Critic, though, is definitely the king of satirical movie reviews.
I'd have to say that other than Doug, Spoony is my favorite reviewer. But everyone on the site is pretty much awsome.

The Top Secret Review is… Alone in the Dark!
With some special guests!
Dear God! NC, Spoony, AND LINKARA! Reviewing Alone in the Dark!
2:00 mins in. I'm saving this for tomorrow. It's going to be perfect after my crappy day at school.
Damn, that review was awesome! Never saw the actual movie myself (I've never seen any Uwe Boll movies, thank god) but the "Three Stooges" were beyond epic. And the NC's Stephen Hawking voice was a nice touch.
This review was one of the best so far. My favorite part was the apperence of their other personas. They definitely should do a joint review sometime again.

"I brought science!"
I will forever remember that phrase! FOREVER!
A new Bum review is out. This time, it's District 9.

Kinda funny how he waited this long to review it. I'm still waiting on his Inglourious Basterds review.
'Bout time someone else said what was on my mind about District 9! Thanks, Doug Walker!
Also, Alone in the Dark review was epiiiiiiic! And hilarioooooooous! It brought tears of laughter and sorrow to see 90's Kid gunned down…
alone in the dark review was sure differnet ,but awesome..
the book you had to read at the beginning was so surreal hrhr…what a "movie" :)
New episode of Nostalgia Chick is out.
http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/videolinks/thedudette/nostalgia-chick/11386-arma01
The chick is awesome as ever.
Finally got around to watching Alone in the Dark review . . . . I haven't laughed that hard since his Sonic the Hedgehog review. The Stephen Hawking bit was PRICELESS, as was the Three Stooges. I hope he uses the Stephen Hawking bit again in the future, hopefully for a movie that's even WORSE.
The Michael Bay interview was just perfect! Great to see the chick trying something new.
And a team up betwenn the two main draws Linkara and Spoony just cant go wrong.
Yeah I saw the Linkara/Spoony one (not "Alone in the Dark", that was just classic considering…well, it's Uwe Boll, he is an easy target) and that...was weird. I mean, any excuse to blast Liefield is great, but...I guess it went into a different direction than I'd expect.
The Linkara/Spoony vid seems like its building up to some weird running continuity joke. Apparently, Dr. Insano is now seperate person every since the "Warrior" review whiling messing with reality's continuity (or a clone from the Clones of Bruce Lee review?) , killed Spoony in the FF8 review, the Spoony clone replace him on the show, and the real Spoony is back from the dead and he's evil now thanks to Evil Robot Linkara…

Yeah, I haven't really followed Spoony and have only recently gotten into Linkara (who is great), only Spoony review I saw was his blasting of Street Fighter 2010.
Another underrated person on the page is JewWario…his stuff is actually rather good without going as crazy as pretty much every other reviewer on that page.
New Nostalgia Critic review is out
Great review as always. I actually remember seeing this movie in one of my business classes in high school (no seriously) and it was pretty much as bad as I remember. Loved the little Michael Jackson "tribute" he did.
nicce review…
another movie where a hot chick is mentally ill:wassat:
don't really like nostalgia critic, but i love the still gaming reviews, so..
