Just finished watching it; only 2 stops this time:) Great episode, I enjoyed both of the stories. I like Ussop's alot better.

Oh I give up! You win this round internet!!
-
AGGGGGH!
I got to Usopp's story and BAM I got the 0:00 glitch.
RAAAAAH!Oh hey they fixed the scrolling problem. Yaaay.
-
It seems to work, but I have to start all over again if I hit pause… I've had this problem before; at least it actually trying...
-
I can't believed Robin's animation wasn't all that good. She could have taken out all the guards by herself.
Did anyone else notice that Thousand Dreamers (no lyrics just music) was playing in the background for the first part of Ussop's story? -
lol again worked great for me. Sorry for you people who have the technical difficulties. Great episode. But I found it a bit weird that that they gave more time for Robin than Usopp. Last 2 eps were all exactly cut at the commercial break, Robin overran into Usopp's by quite a few mins.
-
Fun episode.
Robin's story could have been cut a lot, not showing the Concentration Camp-style conditions of Tequila Wolf. Also why would Robin just give up? I assumed in the manga she was found by the soldiers, that would've made sense. Ah well.Usopp's story man that was hilarious. HERACLES'N! At least they translated the little accent.
-
Usopp's screaming at the bush was awesome. Man, the animation… I thought I was used to this style but at one point Usopp's lips took up his entire head. I guessing Robin let herself be taken hostage to spare those workers, probably with the idea she could let herself out if she wanted.
The suddenly cut off ending was jaring. Pimp Luffy, fantastic.
-
Finally got it to work!
Usopp's was awesome but really short. Robin's was alright but it could have been a bit shorter.
And lol at Hancock's pimp Luffy.
-
My only problem is that ussop's was like 4 or 5 minutes while Robin got like 15 or 16 minutes.
-
I have a feeling Pimp Luffy is going to be everyone's new avatar on this forum.

Just saw the episode with Robin and Usopp's stories. First off, the Hancock X Luffy moments…gold, pure gold! XD The stacked statues of marines and Hancock's vision of Luffy the Player were awesome. Robin's story was pretty damn good. I was afraid that it would be too slow for my liking, but I actually really liked it. I don't know how to describe it, but it felt like a clip from a theatrical anime...the tone, the atmosphere, the setting...it just felt grander, to me, than it actually was. As for Usopp's...funny, funny, and more funny. Despite being on his own, he still shows off that bravado until something tries to eat him. XDD Heracles was pretty amusing too. Animation-wise...well, it's Tate, and I love his style. Though, I'm not blind to the portions of the episodes where characters just don't look right or "shit-faced". XDD Still, the episode was great and I can't wait for the next one. ^^
-
That little girl at one point of the episode looked like she needed to take a shit (her face ).
Usopp's part was also way too short… but then maybe that's good, his story isn't that interesting to me.
-
Usopp's story combined with Fancock's delusions are better than everything else in this filler arc.
-
This episode almost felt like they were advertising Luffy harem… pfffffffft.
I almost wished that Robin's could go on a little longer, since it caught my attention so well. But oh well. Usopp's was pretty awesome, especially the HURCU- cut off and background music. I lol'd when he started to get chased around by all the man eating plants.
-
ussops lips were funny this episode. and this show how hancock could interact wiht nami and robin. Tate's style is about mtion and will this are moving a are great other times ..eh.
-
I can't get it to play! :(
-
Damn it, I cant even access to the damn site >_>
-
Got it, just had to turn off Ad-Blocker
-
Wow Charagon, that worked for me.
Thanks.
Also it looks like you don't have to leave Ad-Block off after the initial add has played.
I am too dependent on ad-block shielding me from people trying to get me to click things to leave it off. -
Well surely you can leave it off for about 23 minutes and 16 seconds.
-
I have a feeling Pimp Luffy is going to be everyone's new avatar on this forum.
You are right. 2 users alright have it. xD
Anyway, this was a good episode. Hancock is slowly becoming my favorite character with all her hilarious Luffy fantasies. Lol at how she knew Nami and Robin were girls right away and got jealous. Robin's story was good. Best parts were when she owned the guards. I read the manga, so i already know of her fate. Usopp's part was short…but at least it made me chuckle.
I CAN'T wait for next week's episode. Zoro and Brook are the coverstories i've been waiting for.

This has been one of the better Strawhat Separation filler episode. First off Tate's style is still a little clunky as far as character art goes while the backgrounds in this episode were gorgeous. As someone mentioned before there is a very theatrical quality to the Robin portion and the coloring for this is something very melancholy and un-One Piece like. It seemed like scenes that belonged to a much darker anime series but it was also very fitting for Robin's character. Before we really get into that I have to say Hancock's bishie-Luffy fantasies continue and I LOVED her reaction to hearing about Nami and Robin I really want her to meet the rest of the crew.
Okay, continuing on, I really liked the Robin portion and the atmosphere depicted the bleakness of her situation. I noticed that Tate is using Inoue's eye shines now. During her ordeal I couldn't help but make an analogy to her own backstory and how things ended up the same here (people took her in only to have someone betray her). But the difference is how being Luffy influenced she was able to bring a certain strength and hope to the little girl and her family. It is a good study and reminder how Robin changed post-Enies Lobby.
Usopp's story was pretty standard but I do like how his predicament was a complete contrast to Robin's a ended the episode on a more comical note.
The preview for the next episode looks pretty average and compared to the previous 3 previews it doesn't seem to add much outside of Perona using her negative spirits on Zoro again.

Hmm.. I wonder if Funi has dibs on the Movie Specials coming up.
-
I liked the episode, it was definably a complete change of pace. The art kind of reminded me of a series like FMA or something. It worked fine for the story, but the characters designs were lacking. I mean, it looked like Oda didn't give them a sketch or anything to work off of.
-
I didn't like the art too much, at least in the Robin part. The characters looked like blobs trying to pass as humans with only a rough idea of how a human is supposed to look like. Other than that, it dragged on a little bit, but was good overall. Usopp's story was funny and criminally short.
-
FINALLY saw it…
Anyway, good episode overall. I knew these stories weren't at the top of my list, but I will admit they turned out better than I thought.
Hancock's dreams, while cliched, are funnier each time. Because it's so not One Piece, hence why it's funny. I also lol'd at her reactions to the girls.
So Robin's story, while good, hogged up too much of the episode. They didn't even give Usopp the second eye catch for some reason. I liked her story overall I guess, even if I knew what was going to happen. Usopp's was just... funny as hell, which is Usopp for you.
I do like Tate's animation alot, but sometimes his art lacks quite a bit, despite looking really good in other shots. I noticed he seems to be better when based off a full manga chapter.
Next week will be the best. I'm curious about Brook, and really curious about Zoro.

Of course, a still shot in that kind of
animationart's gonna look off. >> -
Isn't that art? The animation was fine.
-
well, that shot was "still" in the episode as well, so…
-
What I'm trying to say is that in animation like this, it's not meant to be paused every five or so minutes otherwise you do wind up with
shots like that.a really awful looking episode.Either way, the episode's way better than just caring about that.

I official called this episode of One Piece. Schinler List: One Piece Edition.

On a serious note, anybody think it'd be plausible to have our own Episode Discussion threads for the Simulcast releases? I remember seeing some unfriendly posts towards the Simulcast watchers when I considered discussing the latest episodes in the RAW episode sub-forum :\
-
There has been simulcast episode discussion in this very thread.
Where is this rudeness? I didn't see any.

Tonight's episode is Zoro and Brook? Yes! Finally! THE COVER STORIES I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. I hope they're really well done. The time division better be equal.
-
^None of the other Straw Hats' cover stories have appeared in the anime (yet). Their material was just expanded on what we saw of them in chapters 523 and 524.

Ah. Wrong choice of words. I meant, I wanted to see what happened to Zoro and Brook. There`s no doubt Toei will continue the Nakama stories as Luffy goes through Impel Down.
