I like the Rouge-Amazon theory
Just a point: "Rouge" isn't a flower!
All the Amazon's names can be flower's names too
Check this italian site http://www.rolonoazoro.com/index2.php?id=KujaFiore.htm
Ah, I see. Speaking of which:
I wanted a bit of clarification on something and I'm hoping someone can help me. I read on an anime character encyclopedia website that Sanji was born someplace called "Uo Island" but this website never listed its source (at least, not that I saw). It also said that he's about 108 lbs. but as far as I know, there's nothing about either of these on the OP Wiki. Does anyone know where these two originated (like did Oda-san say anything about these or were they in a data book? Or should they be classified as nothing but theories people had that have been taken a little too seriously?
One thing I know about Sanji:
he grew up in North Blue, before he came to the East Blue.
Does anyone have more infos about Sanji?
My theory…
Ace doesn't like his execution-shoes! DAMN, what ugly shoes!!!
If I had to wear such ugly ballerina-like shoe-sh*t, I'd also prefer a fast death. They should kill me at 12 o clock instead of 15 o clock.
Girls like this ballerina-shoes, they're such a sex appeal killer!

Depends. Especially if Oda wanted to be vague by making it a little less obvious to anyone but the fervent fanbase. Clematis 'Rouge Cardinal', Pyracantha 'Saphyr Rouge', <various>'Moulin Rouge'</various>, and Deutzia 'Tourbillon Rouge' all come up in a quick search on a plant database. All are just as much plant names as is Hancock's.
Rouge was the former Kuja empress. After she died (of her love for a "man/boy," Ace), Nyon took over, like the Third Hokage did for the Fourth in Naruto.
Edit: Yeah, everyone's been saying parts of this and I guess it's kinda redundant, but I don't think people have put them together like this before.

 Clematis 'Rouge Cardinal fits perfectly on the shadow picture!!!!
!
No it doesn't. The flowers always have six petals while the one Rouge is wearing only has five.

I see 5 petals in both pictures…
How many petals per flower can you see here?
So… how about Buggy kills Whitebeard, and then Ace holds Whitebeard's death against Luffy, since Luffy is the reason Buggy escaped and made it to Marineford.

this should be an interesting twist if it happens…there is a possibilty of it happening...XD
Silly me, I accidentally put this here instead of into the Dumb Predictions thread…
And by doing so, you tricked Rene into making himself look really stupid. It's a class act.
One or more of the Admirals/Sengoku will be defeated during this upcoming battle. Smoker rise to an Admiral somehow, and Kizaru or Akainu could take over as Fleet Admiral. Coby's actions in the battle will also warrant him a promotion.
Basically I'm saying the few elite marines that are defeated will have their positions succeeded
I can only see Sakazuki taking over Sengoku's position. Everybody should be well aware of Borsalino's slow-wittedness and Kuzan's laziness. Sakazuki, on the other hand, is a hardcore fallower of Apsolute Justice and will make for a vastly more intimidating villain than Sengoku.
It's also borderline obvious that Garp is going to take back his (possibly previous) role as Akainu and I hope Coby will, in turn, be promoted to Vice Admiral.

Not at all .
Sixteen Why nots?

I always thought it was most likely that if the names were passed down, then they were due to the personality types of the admirals. Akainu would be given to the hardcore "absolute justice" follower, willing to do any evil thing for the sake of the greater good. Garp, the person who saved Ace as a baby, would be the very last person I would ever suspect to have that title. I could see Sengoku having it, though.
I didn't know personality traits were a rank requirement.

it's ok it's human nature to make mistakes

What???? Where do you get the idea that Garp will become and admiral? And why would he be demoted to vice admiral in the first place? His age maybe? Does the WG segrate againist old people now too?
I didn't know personality traits were a rank requirement.
Of course they're not, where did you get that? I said that the names were probably given to the admirals that fit them the best.
Sixteen Why nots?
Imo Garp retired and he might be getting to old to get on that horse. O well.
I'm still waiting for Magellan to stop wasting his character and join Smoker's crew!!!
Who would you rather have as the second-in-command: The most loyal and hardcore bastard there ever was, or a crazy old man who, although kicks a ton of ass, has a bad habbit of both helping and making major threats to the Government?

An sleeping, don't forget sleeping.
You just might be onto something there: We can't have two sleepy Admirals!
I'd love if Smoker was promoted to Admiral. What would his nickname be? White Dove? White Dog?
@Kairouseki:

White Ram, plus he has a logia.
i already have the fanfic written.
You're appearently even more oblivious than me that the Admirals each represent some mythological Japanese animals.

Yeah based on that story, but we can dream.
Aokiji's definately not Fleet Admiral material. He doesn't follow the WG's way of doing things as strictly as the other two. It's clear he's Admiral level mainly due to his ability. I don't think people should write off Kizaru though, while he's a little slow and dim, he gets the job done in the end.
And by doing so, you tricked Rene into making himself look really stupid. It's a class act.
O.O huh? I dont get what is stupid about my statement…. Are you saying that Buggy defeating WB is not an interesting twist? You can't really completely cancel the probability of that event from occuring, there is always 1% from 100% of that scenario to happen. You cant be definite about it because the arc has not ended yet, nor has Oda mentioned that its impossible. It may be hard to believe but it may happen.
Well after reading that....Can you please explain how I made myself look stupid? :ermm:
You complimented the possibility of his theory when he meant it to be a stupid theory. Ergo, you are stupid.
It's a very simple prospect.
I would like to see Coby die in this battle, since i belive he is a boring character and dont serve any purpose besides being pushed around.

He may have considered it a "stupid theory" but I think its actually a plausible theory. And if you consider it stupid then I can understand how close minded you are, anything can happen in OP, there is no such thing as a stupid theory to explain a possible event in a fictional story. Now that I think about it, considering a theory as stupid is the stupid part, talk about irony.
I dont consider complementing the possibility as stupid, it only means that I have given thought that this possibility may happen and may give out an interesting twist in the OP story.

I really like you man .
Wooo.. now you have a fan… XD
It's a stupid theory because even if Whitebeard died, Ace would blame the guy who did it instead of his own loving brother who couldn't have forseen such an event at the time of breaking out of prison.
Besides, Oda stubbornly refuses to kill non-wooden characters that have even the slightest direct importance to the plot.

I disagree…If WB dies, you cannot absolutely cancel the probability that Ace might blame Luffy, you should put into consideration that Luffy brought Buggy along. Anyways that is not what I want you to understand.
Im trying to tell you that even if someone comes up with a ridiculous thoery you cant cancel it out or assume its stupid. No matter what you do, a theory exists to prove a certain point. The theory that Ace might blame luffy for WB death is plausable until proven wrong by the author himself.
luffy might be on good terms with every yonkou
White beard: ace is his brother (you know what i mean) so i would suspect that would mean luffy's in the okay with him
shanks: does this really need explaining
and the 2 skeptical ones
Kaidou: i think this is lola's mother (just a hunch)
and the 4th yonkou i think is dragon
don't antagonize me about my guesses i know they can be considered stupid but don't be a dick….. please
I think a Yonkou's Bounty is To live like a Tenryuubito, Especially the one For Whitebeard.
Also Someone mentioned that Smoker may be an Admiral, well….i think he will be and He Already Have a nickname : The White Hunter
luffy will die and the end of the series it will show what happens to characters
smoker becomes fleet admiral
zoro becomes a shichibukai
sanji sets up a ocean going restaurant on the all blue
brook lives with laboon
usopp maries kya but leaves her to become a pirate captain
etc. etc.
don't feel like typing anymore

Of course Luffy will die and Younger, what was the point for Oda To short his lifespan so much, 10 Years to Heal from the Poison, And Overuse of Gear Second.
I think every Memeber of strawhat, will live with his own style as a pirate, and i will add more :
*Chopper will Make his own Pirate crew who are specialized on Medicine, they will cure every injured on the sea.
*Franky will probably return to Water Seven to see his Franky family.
*Robin will Revive her homeland, ohara (not reviving the death).

I'm not antagonizing you, but I think at least one of the yonkou should be a cruel enemy. You know, for drama.

that's so lame…your prediction can't be more obvious and boring.
also, how do you see luffy die? in the middle of a conversation, because of his shortened lifespan? yeah, right. That wouldn't be how a pirate king dies.
My theory sucks ass but I'll at least try to present it:
We were introduced to Marco and Jose as two background characters who seemingly had no significance. My theory is that we've already seen some other commanders, just not yet given an introduction:

Right behind Marco
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/434/05/
Lower left panel

That samurai on the right seems tempting
http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/434/07/
Guy with wild hair.
This probably won't happen, but if this is yet another pattern to a group of characters Oda introduced, it would be neat.
Heres one:
Laffiete is Brooks Grandson.
