The character that I really hate is Shou Tucker from Fullmetal Alchemist. That guy was so messed up! Unless you haven't seen Fullmetal Alchemist, let me enlighten you. In order to save his work, he created a chimera out of his daughter, and dog.

I'd like to remind people to keep the "bashing" down, as there have threads liek this where they've been locked (despite decent discussion going on).
And I'd have to go with pretty much most of the cast of Inuyasha, save a select few.

I read the first two volumes of the manga, and wanted my money back… and considering this was at the height of the time it was amazingly popular in America, I almost laughed at how people can be so damn gullible, and buy into something because of mere undeserved popularity.

I hated Chiatzu(Spelling) and P'uar from DB/Z , They had no relevance to the story except being annoying as hell.

I never cared for the principle character of Yu-Gi-Oh.
Okay, take a character who is the stereotypical "why people don't like the anime style". Have his life revolve around a card game which apparently was designed by tax accountants, and then (at least in the US) dub him with a voice which makes Sanji seem spot-on.

Do you mean by the fact that while even though the men are the most powerful fighters, they're scared of the women (Chi Chi, Bulma, ect.). I think even Vegeta was frightened by Bulma!

I was going to originally say Sesshomaru, because he's so lame. He's a cliche, anime badass that always makes a big entrance and then gets his ass kicked and runs with his tail between his legs (pun intended! Ha ha!) . It's also annoying how everything thinks he's teh coolest evar. Though he does have a few cool moments, and Jaken is awesome. But then I realized it'd be easier just to say almost everyone in InuYasha.
Oh yeah, Mokuren from Flame of Recca. Anyone familiar with that series should know why.

I can't say I hate any anime characters but there are a few who I find annoying at times. Naruto, Sasuke and Vegeta all spring to mind.

1. Naruto. He just seems to be the exact opposite of what I want in a male lead. Noobish, infatuated, rash, weak, whiny….you could chalk it up to him just being a kid, but I don't really care, because he's like that regardless of the circumstances.
2. Vegeta. It's always boggled my mind as to why he's so popular. I can't stand his character design, or the pride that makes him decide that he's the best, while he makes the worst mistakes of probably all of the DBZ characters.
3. Sesshoumaru, same reason as Carter. Itachi also goes here for being similar.
4. Vash. He's like Kenshin, only much goofier. He decides not to kill, and takes a gun. Okay....

Sakura from Naruto. Shs's just so annoying with her "Sasuke is soooo kool!!!11ten!!" things and shouting "Sasuke-Kun!" every 2 seconds. And the fact she beats Naruto for the simplest things. Like he asks her out or says something bad about Sasuke she beats him over the head. I just love the fact that the creator of Naruto ((To lazy to look up the name…)) said they were suppose to make Sakura a cute girl but failed.

I see it as comeuppance for his experimentation with his daughter and wife. (Thought the ultimate comeuppance takes place in the manga where Scar shows up at his house.)
I'm going to have to side with Cap'n Carter about most of the characters in Inu-yasha. They just annoy me to no end. I even thought of making a drinking game based on the anime series. (Take a shot if Kagome shouts "Inuyasha" or vice verse. for every reminder of how Naruku will pay, take a shot. When a situation involving Inuyasha choosing Kagome or Kikiyou, down a bottle. If you are watching the show with rabid Inu-heads, secure as much alcohol as you possible can and consume ASAP.)

Off hand, outside of of One Piece, I believe the character I dislike the most is Envy from Fullmetal Alchemist. I have lots of friends who adore him, but unfortunately, I cannot share in their adoration. He freakin' SPOILER, HIGHLIGHT TO READ not only KILLED my favorite character, but killed him while he was morphed into his wife. I cannot forgive him for that. I adore Hughes, and his death felt so senseless. So, yes, it's rather hard for me not to hate Envy.

i dont know why you think characters like naruto and vegeta are so bad. vegeta acts as a antagonist for most of the series, creating some progress and making goku train more. and naruto has comic relief value.
trust me on this, an anime that is too serious is an unsuccessful anime. anyone in literature, drama, movies, arts, w/e, will tell you, you need some comic relief.

Pretty much how I feel about the two characters. And Sasuke pretty much is the same as Vegeta in my eyes. However at times I do find Naruto to be alright.
I forgot about Sakura. She is annoying at times. Other than being a possible love interest for the two main characters and possibly the brains of the group, I have yet to see what she actually offers to the team.

I'd have to say Sakura too. She's all over a guy who apparently doesn't have any interest in her and she never gives it a rest. I dislike Sasuke too. Too much of an angst-bucket for me.

Vegeta was my favorite character in the late Saiyan arc and all through the Namek arc, he was just a badass who killed everyone. His undercover work was my favorite part of the Namek saga. But, when he became sort of an Anti-Hero he was just annoying… especially when he went Majin just to beat Goku.

From what little I've seen of Naruto, I can honestly say I hate Naruto the most. He's always happy or being stupid, so there's not much depth to the character. You can usualy predict what he'll do or say. For me, that's just not interesting. Some people may find the latter quite admirable, but I think its annoying. Overall, she's a very boring character, a typical girl who happens to have magical powers. A story I've heard a million times. And she has to wear that fucking mini skirt so my cousin will ask for panty shots all the time. <_<

It isn't really like me to make threads like these, but it was just an excuse to say just how much I resent Tucker from Fullmetal Alchemist. A lot of T.V Tome members hated "Night of the Chimera's Cry" just because of that character, which was what made it such a sad episode. My friend hates him too, even though his dub voice is also Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho, who she's obsessed with. (Not the actor, but the character.)
The main reason that I hate Tucker is because he was insane. Anyone who uses his wife to create a chimera, there's definetely something wrong with that person.
