For the record, I'm currently joking. However, it's all up to the luck of the draw.
Apart from the SHs (and it seems most of the Shichibukai), all other characters (even awesome ones like Shanks and Rayleigh) may fall victim to the SHs. I'm anxious for the first match where a non-SH wins over a SH, but in all truths, there aren't that many combinations that will work IMO.WARNING (Explicit Dialog)!!

Didn't pay attention to the First Round, I see. Plus you forgot about Roger beating Merry who has more cred as a Straw Hat than either Franky or Brook at this point.
Of the remaining contestants this round, the person I foresee doing best against a Straw Hat is Wiper and I don't think Franky will have much more trouble with him than he did with Aokiji. DoFlamingo might have decent numbers, but he's not going to beat Usopp (I have my doubts about anybody beating him when it comes down to it).
Out of the remaining field, I think that the people standing the best chance against a Straw Hat are the aforementioned Roger, Bon Kurei (probably the single biggest threat to any Straw Hat), Crocodile, Smoker, Paddington, and, oddly enough, Shushu, especially if the latter draws one of the newer Straw Hats.

His last two fights have been among the shittiest in the entire series, (both the Jabra AND Absalom fights sucked pretty mightily) the entire Duval storyline was a huge joke at his expense, he landed on an island of ugly transestites, and now he's crossdressing.
Basically, Sanji's been the whipping boy for outrageous bad stuff and bad jokes for a while now, without getting to do any of his badassery or "Mr. Prince" role to balance it out. He's just been shit upon for a long time by his own creator… while Zoro gets to keep being cool and doing stuff.
The ocassional gag throwing Sanji off his game was okay, but its been bad for him for a long time with little good to redeem him.

Well he has his cool entrance against Jabura and I found thins fight cool. Against Absalom I agree but then against Odz he was bad-ass. Same for SI
But you're right Oda is doing all lot of bad jokes now about him.

I agree with ypor posts that Oda is doing a lot of jokes about Sanji now that is killing his bad-assery. the most minus was the cross-dressing. he should just fight hisI way free.
I dunno if Oda is planning to start making some big gap between him and Zoro/Luffy. But at SI the three were once againt the Top3.
But I can understand why some don't like Sanji thatn much now after seeing that much gags about him.

Jim13ei, i think you're reading too much into this, Oda doesn't take his characters too seriously after all. He probably does it so we don't have two Zoros in the crew.

Zoro's character was never meant to be VERY funny. He is still funny enough when he gets lost or falls asleep when lifting weights, but his primary drawing point are his badass moments. And I daresay, he had A LOT of them in Thriller Bark.
I think it's much more important what he does in the actual plot, than to see his random gags and shenanigans. If those random humorous moments are all Sanji's got over him, he's got nothing. Sanji simply hasn't done anything praise-worthy in a while (since the Sea Train incident to be exact)

Oda DID change his character though. He was much more relaxed at the beginning, Luffy used to abuse him A LOT.

Also saved Usopp's beaten up ass, returned to help Zoro and co. instead of running along with Franky/Nami, etc. He did quite a lot against Odz too.

Yeah Oda did let him make awesome stuff but nothing that gread as Zoro which most people are comparing.
