I can't find any differences between the Grandline men Vol. 1 Luffy, and the Vol. 2 Luffy. Are there any?

I honestly think they were just showing Shanks' figure in relation to Luffy's volume 1 figure. It's not meant to be a new sculp/paint job. Kind of like how they showcased the Bellemere P.O.P. when they released the Nami and Nojiko Mild P.O.P.s. People thought that there was going to be a Neo release for Bellemere when that picture surfaced. As of yet, I haven't heard anything about a re-release for her yet.

i've also seen on another site that had shanks, for v2 but it is to be released dec. 2009. makes more sense.

I don't think there is a difference between Luffy vol1. & vol2.
HLJ has the pictures (same that Play Asia has on Luffy vol.1 and Ace) that are somewhat pre-models, or even drawn things while the photos of Luffy and Ace that we saw after exibition were of the final figures. If you look on Ace on HLJs site and the actual pictures you can see there as much difference as there is with Luffy. -

2 of the many boxes i won are torn and the bags of the mini figures are torn to bits..Heh heh… I've saved every single box for every single figure I've ever bought. And I don't keep my figures in the boxes, so they just take up a whole lotta space.
The only ones I haven't saved are from the first styling set I ever got. I cut up the boxes and used the front pieces as bookmarks.But I have the same problem as you with the little gashapon boxes. I guess they're just made to be ripped open. You can keep them mostly intact though. You'd just have to use tape to close the tops again.

The boxes are a little different from other sets i believe. I got them from ebay. And ebay sellers always cut them open to see if the figures are
all different ones. They are cut on the back. This way the boxes stay really nice
Taking a knife and trying to slice the open is the best way for me to keep them as nice as possible. -

I want the same but 30 cm tall at least !Considering the crouching pose, I'd guess that an authentic 30 cm tall version of the same pose would cost well over 10k yen. Anything that big would probably be high quality PVC/resin/etc. It would be awesome, but way out of my budget for figures.
The Banpresto figures may be smaller (than say, a Megahouse version, which I think is unlikely for any non Brain Point form), but they're still decent size and quality for me, especially considering that they're much easier on the wallet. From the HLJ pic, if accurate, it looks like they aren't including the horns in the height.

Winter Island Mini Big Head Figures arrived today. Got a complete set of 18 without the 2 secrets. Offcourse this set is older. But i think the new
Mini Big Head Figures look alot better. Still nice figures and finnaly got them for good price.
Shanbody figures with the other series. Its already to full now imo. Need to find something else to display. Or remove the ship.
with all these figures iam still missing 57 :blink: figures from older sets.

i got my aokiji and mihawk, VERY happy with them, though mihawks soooooooooooo big with his sword in his hand he takes up so much room in my cabinet! (dont want to put sword on his back), so big that he kind of controls the area hes in and blocks the view of other figures around him.
