As long as you have AC, you'll probably be fine. Granted, I don't have too many figures, but I've only ever had the problem I mentioned before (which I could have avoided easily) and a cheap gashapon figure that leaned. At least that I've noticed so far.
Some issues like leaning are caused by poor design, not just heat & humidity.
I live in Arizona, which should answer that question. 
The high today was 110 degrees F or so. At least there's no humidity to add to the heat problem here.
How hot and how long does it have to be before paint rubs off/figures warp?
It really depends on the figure, too. Not all PVC/plastic is the same. One of my figures was lying on the base for a while, and just yesterday, I realized the softer material that makes up the T-shirt had melted a little bit into the base. Whoops. Kinda makes me glad the very few expensive figures I own are still in boxes for now.

Dang, irony. I haven't been to Arlong Park in forever but ever since HLJ finally canceled my order for the Banpresto Monster Chopper, I've been wondering how/if I'd be able to get one. Too many things to pay off lately, though, so maybe it's a good thing I missed.
Good luck selling, hope you make the money you need for your applications.
Before pre-ordering it, I saw the little mention on the left "about 8 cm [tall]"…I want it but he would be the same size as my Chopper POP, so it won't be on my shelves.
I want the same but 30 cm tall at least !
Considering the crouching pose, I'd guess that an authentic 30 cm tall version of the same pose would cost well over 10k yen. Anything that big would probably be high quality PVC/resin/etc. It would be awesome, but way out of my budget for figures.
The Banpresto figures may be smaller (than say, a Megahouse version, which I think is unlikely for any non Brain Point form), but they're still decent size and quality for me, especially considering that they're much easier on the wallet. From the HLJ pic, if accurate, it looks like they aren't including the horns in the height.
Oh! and this November release Chopper might be Monster Chopper we saw a couple of pages ago:

I haven't checked up on OP merchandise in a while, but after I saw that link, I had to place a pre-order right away. Now, if only Banpresto would turn it into a line and make some of the other neglected point forms… :wub: Horn and Arm Point would be especially nice.

Yeah. You're probably right. But still. In contrast to everyone's elses' backstory where someone either lossed a limb or got killed/died in some spectacular fashion it is still a bit meh. But whatever.
I absolutely agree.
Rather than Hakuro de Killer's idea of feign death leading to amnesia and becoming Tashigi, I'd prefer if she feigned death to go on a journey to train to fulfill her promise. Tashigi and Kuina should be separate characters. I think Kuina would have turned out to be quite the awesome fighter.
Anyway, thanks to this thread, I am never going to see Kuina's father the same. :blink:

Chopper already has 3 POPs, I don`t see how he needs another one.
Chopper has three POPs? Brain Point, Chopperman, and I guess you're referring to the first Usopp, but I think of that Chopper as more of an accessory. I'm glad they split them up in the NEO line. He's in the same old brain point form for all of them, though.
I like the POP line, but recently sold the rest of mine. The only POP I want would be one of the following: Chopper Horn Point, Arm Point, Jump Point, Walk Point or Heavy Point. If that happens, maybe I'll think about picking up some of the others again. I'd only ever buy the Brain Point POP if I could put it next to one of Chopper's larger forms.
However, I'd like to see more figures for all of the main crew…different arc designs and poses instead of re-release after re-release. As awesome as it is to see secondary characters get so much love (and I hope it continues), I'm only potentially interested in the Straw Hats.
