I wounder if Boa Hancock and Bon Clay will join the revolutionaries.
Actually didn't think of this.
It would be a great way to keep them in the series without taking the easy way out (just forcing them into the crew).

For that matter neither does attempting different languages.
Nice slavic engrish there.

Oh, Thanks mate :) You're a pretty nice guy after all.
Boa joining the Revolutionaries is just as retarded as her joining the Strawhats. But having Bentham become a revolutionary would be kind of neat. Though the way he was talked about last chapter makes him the front runner for SH candidacy. I will bet that he doesn't stay in New Kamaland and comes back into to story to save Iva or something.
Hancock 4 first dead character
Bentham 4 next dead character
Kuma 4 next dead character after the second.
Zose sayz Sik!
There now none of them can join the SHs and it won't matter much if they were revolutionaries.
Oh, Thanks mate :) You're a pretty nice guy after all.
Much like your eastern bloc home, the sentence is in reality backwards
this is a great thread, surprised it hasn't cropped up before…......shame about the two pages of off-topic crap though, kind of ruins it.......but in the effort of maintaining this i will add that perhaps some of the previous islands we have seen will be revealed to be supporters of the revolution......
because it seems we have four categories
-islands supporting the government
-islands supporting themselves
-islands protected by pirates
-other
so maybe we will see islands and countries changing side when the cogs begin to turn, maybe kammabakka kingdom, or even the persons father that was changed by iwa???
even water 7 and others touched by the true face of absolute justice...
my main point is most of the islands we have seen have had the perspectives and loyalties shaken, which may lead to a change in sides.
i wonder what will happen to islands protected by wb if he should fall, will they become another pirates territory, become lawless, accept support for the government or perhaps something else?
and finally if the sky islands are relevant to all this? as it could be an important factor.
The Revolutionary Army, from my reading, can't be a good thing. The World Government is evil, yes, but then again there are members who do try to protect the people it governs. And then there is the whole thing about toppling kingdoms. It's never said but it is implied that Dragon was all for Crocodile's plans. I think Dragon and the Revolutionary Army are just as goal focused as the World Government and are uncaring of who they trample to get to that goal.
The "Peace" of the World Government is dictatorial "forced peace" If you should up and do what they wand you didn't have any problems, but If you say your opinion and unpleasant for the WG, then you will be imprisoned or killed. Also the WR allowed to slave people from non-WG countries. And the WG discriminates Fishmans and other "races". In the world of OP there is no realy freedom. Slaves, Mass-Murder-Marines, ID the Hell and so on… If 5 people rule the world dictatorial can't be good. If you asked me the WG is something like "The New World Order" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_world_order) from One Piece. I think Dragon is the good one who knows how evil the WG are and want to free the world. But
I think we will only know what the world government REALLY is, when it comes to the meeting between Dragon and Ruffy coming!
Two other Points:
Kuma - yeah i would also say it's a spy of Dragon.
Vegapunk - mmm, he is a marine and sentoumaru was loyal too, and pissed of of Kuma. I think he isnt't intrested in politics he works for them because the WG has the money to build his inventions. (http://www.apforums.net/showpost.php?p=1085443&postcount=11like Fiasco. said before :D)

INCOMING WALL OF TEXT:
Honestly, I doubt the Sky Islands will have much to do with anything. They're almost completely cut-off from the rest of the world, and it's likely they're more concerned with their own wellfare after Enel; so any involvement would be delayed at best. The Revolutionaries wouldn't really be able to do anything for them, and it's unlikely that they (as in the Skypieans and whomever else) actually care for Blue Sea politics. As nice as it would be to see them doing something, personally I reckon it's unlikely.
I've been going on the theory that Vegapunk might have some involvement. It's possible that he wants funding, special materials, appreciation or something else for his work which Dragon could provide. Kuma could theoretically be the in-between/go-guy with his teleports and the like, explaining why he knows Dragon to begin with. Ultimately, he's probably looking out for his own wellfare whether he's involved or not. I doubt he has any special loyalty to the WG or Sengoku himself that keeps him there.
Yeah, it's also possible that in the aftermath of this war, we'll see the islands we've visited changing sides. Dalton, Iceberg and eventually Vivi when she ascends to the throne are just looking out for their people, along with a myriad of other people. I could only see this happening though if the Revolutionaries actually have good intentions. After all, they could be as evil as the people they're looking to usurp. Ivankov makes me think differently though.
@Emporio:
Not once have I saved the life of a fool who relies only on the help of others. Oh I have saved countires drowning in poverty, even countries defeated in battle and left in ruins…But all that I truly did was draw out their own will to live!
That doesn't sound like something an evil person would say. If this was done in the name of the Revolutionary cause, then it may be the case that they really are helping people. As a sidenote: I'm really starting to like Iva (doesn't help that I now picture him doing jazz hands thanks to what I did as a joke yesterday >.<)
! Seriously, I advise you don't look.
! I warned you.
Paint BBS (http://fwar.virtualave.net/oekaki/oekaki.html) is entertaining though.
Individual islands, or places like Fishman Island will likely still fall under the jurisdiction of piracy. Sort of like Luffy takes over protection of them if Whitebeard does die or becomes unable to protect them, which chances are would still be advantageous to his old man.
Unless Jinbei joins the Revs. Hmm. Well, anything could happen I guess shrugs (it sounds silly even to me) :getlost:.
Islands supporting the Government would slowly end up changing sides anyway. There's bound to be weaker islands that would buckle, and with the right amount of political pressure for the uninvolved parties to conform to the same rule, they'll have to fold eventually. It would make no sense to isolate yourself, even if you didn't like the new administration. If they become a superpower, then individual nations can't do much to hold their own. Whether this be with threats or bribes of a possible boon to their nation, or perhaps the problem of them not having a say in the way things are going, it wouldn't take long. Much like in real life :ninja:.
Eh, maybe they're just the lesser of two evils, though if Rayleigh was right about the scholars of Ohara being too hasty in their search for the knowledge of the true history, it makes me wonder how Dragon would handle the information (as well as what the truth of the Void century actually is…). As much as it could be damaging and/or incriminating to the WG, perhaps it could be for his rule too.
I have to say one thing about the Revolutionaries though...they have awesome hats.
WALL OF TEXT CRITS YOU FOR 9000 (it was longer).

Greg, did you learn nothing from April Fools 2008.
I doubt Dragon is a good guy like some are stating, but it seems a lot are already in the mindset that the World Government and/or Marines are fully corrupt organizations while the Revolutionaries' motives are genuinely good.
Then again I'm one who thinks that the kingdom taken down during the Void Century was actually a threat, and that the now known alliance between over 100 kingdoms i.e. the World Government, did good by having taken them down.
It's all a giant conspiracy controlled by Kohza.
You heard it here first.

First, I don't think he was speaking about Skypeia, but rather the other sky islands scattered across the grand line. We know that others exist since Enel came from one, and Nami is currently on one. Having said that, if a route does exist I'd want it to be very rarely traveled. Most people seem to consider sky island a myth, and I wouldn't want to see that common belief just randomly change.
Luffy is not going to take over protection of anything. We're looking forward to the day that Luffy gets a 9th crew member still. Regardless of how powerful they are, protection is something you leave to the powerhouse crews of 1600 strong and can cover a lot more territory. Luffy is ultimately trying to be like Roger, not WB. It would be more likely that Dragon would take over protection duties after this war.
The only thing I know about the upcoming war is that it wont be as easy to predict as most people are making it out to be. I predict that the WG is going to take some serious damage. Thinking about it from a longterm storyline perspective, Luffy will be leaving their territory soon, and into the New World. The war to cripple the WG is far easiest to write here and now, while Luffy is in the vicinity. Also, I find it unreasonable to think that Luffy could move on without fixing the slave problem. If the WG wins this war, that seems fairly impossible.
That being said, I think that the true villains of One Piece will come out of the woodwork in this war. Maybe the 5 elder stars have more up their sleeves, and the loss of this war is somehow a step forward for them. Multiple Shichibukai could also use this war to launch their own campaigns. Doflamingo, for example, could turn on the marines in the middle of battle for his own desires. Dragon could wind up being evil, or he could have an evil uprising in his own ranks. The possibilities are endless with a WG defeat.
I could be totally wrong here. I used to think of the WG as the "final opponent," but now, I just can't imagine that the story would be as good if they defeat WB and become the world's superpower. I'm sure Oda could do it if he wants to, but my gut is leaning the other direction.

I agree. I think Dragon is simply on a mission to make the WG fall and doesn't care about the islands and people being destroyed in the process. But in the long run, this will be a good thing as the WG is a corrupt power.

Well… the Shichibukai are mostly going to break apart after the war... don't really know where else most of them are going to go... I suppose some of them could just continue being pirates.

They're kind of not together to being with. The only thing that ties them together is the WG. Like you said they would just return to regular piracy.
Did you guys know everytime you fail at trolling your penis grows smaller, by now deltron must have seven vaginas.
also, Dragon is obviously going to do whatever he can to save Ace and Luffy, am I the only person who remembers him saving Luffy in logue town that one time? (or maybe some other town i forgot the name) when Buggy was about to kill him, im pretty sure they showed him saving Luffy.
He saved him once he'll most likely do it again.
Also the WG is going to have something big up their sleeve, considering the fact they're openly waging war against whitebeard means they have something pretty powerful up their sleeve.
And I could see eventually Luffy having to fight Dragon, Dragon will either turn out to be a really good guy, or will be one of those good guys who shows now mercy for the evil guys.
Example : He kills a guy in the world government with no mercy, I could see Luffy having a problem with that and they get in a big argument and Luffy takes him down, because of course dragon wont lay a finger on Luffy.
Just an idea.
Did you guys know everytime you fail at trolling your penis grows smaller, by now deltron must have seven vaginas.
Trolling is me telling an impressionable child false information about Tokyo when he asks advice on writing an essay, so that he will get a bad grade.
Calling horrible theorizing what it is is called common sense.
Here's some examples.

Common Sense: Shut the hell up.

Common Sense: Shut the hell up.
hmm this thread is not a bad idea (im back on topic, unlike you marimos)
I'll gleefully be expecting Dragon's appearance during Whitebeard's bloodbath.
the revolutionaries and pirates share a common enemy, but i hope won't like each other. One is noble with aspiration while the other pillaging looting murderers.
I hope Dragon will not have anything to do with this arc, the OP world is overly ideal. Every monsters is on Luffy's side. The villians are just a two man team, blackbeard and doflamingo, not mentioning the beaten weak villians.
Blackbeard and doflamingo gotta vs dragon, iva, hancock, garp, smoker, akoji, raleigh, shanks, whitebeard, kuma, mihawk, jinbei, just to Name a FEW. Thats pretty balanced.
deltron is a revolutionary:ninja:
so far we know 2\3 revolutionarys are okamas…mhh the possibilty isn`t that low that......:wassat:

I don't think, that Blackbeard and Flamingo teamed up.
Blackbeard is a dreamer and Deflamingo hates dreamer, he is the best example for a morgania pirate. Deflamingo counts for power, money and clothes only.
Deflamingo don't now BBs power and he thinks after the war he has great chancesto became a yonkou.
First question people asked Zephos when he came back
How do you try to fit me into this situation on..
1. A thread where people won't stop orbiting around me.
2. With literally identifying me and as coming back.
It just doesn't work. You just suck.
And the answer is because my IP ban was disabled.
Good Advice he just won't take.
Hey let's take a vote on if one of the two of had to be IP banned which would lose. Serious here.
@Don:
so far we know 2\3 revolutionarys are okamas
Or 3/3 are as Dragon is also Luffy's Mother
the revolutionaries want to change the world in more than just the government
About Luffy's mom….does he have one or is Dragon like an amoeba and he can divide himself?
Sheesh, what a crazy family. Neglecting mother and father, crazy grandpa, and a pyromaniac brother. I can see why he wants to vent out his anger and become a pirate :P
From a scale of 1 to 100, how would you rate this arc?
89 for me

what the fuck is this supposed to mean? that's a ridiculously large scale of numbers for a rating
how could you even come up with an answer to that question
in the sbs 47 oda told that Grandpa Garp from THIS One Piece(not from wanted) is a true blue Marine, from birth till death!!
so i dont think he is a revolutionair
Garp is just as much a true Marine as Smoker, Saul, and Ao Kiji. Which is to say, moreso than Sengoku or Aikinu will ever be.
How about Kuma saving them twice?!
I am sorry, but Kuma did not save them. So says some people here in the forum. I repeat, Kuma did not save them, he BEAT them. PERIOD.
Now, lets get this fact straight, Kuma beat them and NOT saved them. Get it?
As the theory goes…
the revolutionary is going to take over Alabasta
then we'll get to see thier true nature
Dragon was once a pirate, and found the true history. so he's trying to make a change (it's posible, or it could be dumb theory)
Alabasta is just one of 170 nations. Although I'm sure Vivi will have her important role in the revolution before long.
I am sorry, but Kuma did not save them. So says some people here in the forum. I repeat, Kuma did not save them, he BEAT them. PERIOD.
Now, lets get this fact straight, Kuma beat them and NOT saved them. Get it?
As the theory goes…
Kuma beat them the first time.
He saved them the second.
Although I'm sure it was meant to look like he beat them on Shabony, Kizaru appearently knew better. This is probably why Kuma confessed his true actions later.
I am sorry, but Kuma did not save them. So says some people here in the forum. I repeat, Kuma did not save them, he BEAT them. PERIOD.
Now, lets get this fact straight, Kuma beat them and NOT saved them. Get it?
As the theory goes…
actually he did SAVE them.
His orders were to eliminate the strawhat crew, and instead he spared them the first time, he obviously BEAT them but he was supposed to eliminate them and take back Luffys head, instead he gave all of luffys pain to zoro, when he could have easily taken luffys head to the WG, plus he barely even attacked the rest of the crew.
I would say that would be saving them.
The second time he sent them all away to different islands that would BENEFIT them, whenever someone attacks a Tennyrubito they're supposed to be taken into custody, but instead he spared them AGAIN by sending them away to different islands. Did you also notice when he teleported away a pacifista because it was about to attack one of the strawhats? I would say thats saving them again.
Your an idiot if you think he didnt save them, read the manga then say something like that
^^first time it was his pride which didnt allow him to destroy the crew..he accepted zoro
s offer and so it was not rly to save them…i mean he tried to kill zoro..and when he wanted to save them why attacking them their?
second time it sure was some act of help.-.the crew was screwed and only bringing them far far away rescued them for being killed, being now in ID with luffy :)

^^ yeah you also understood the obvious…cheerswithaglasofchampagne
I'm pretty sure Kuma is a double agent. He obviously has a strong sense of honor yet he is referred to as the one shichibukai who follows the WG facists completely and is one of their top agents. He also knows Dragon is Luffy's father when only Sengoku and Garp are supposed to know in the WG. He also was whispering to Rayleigh about something and they didn't seem like enemies.
I have a theory whaut about Kizaru is the revolutionary and not Kuma? Kuma ist just a pirate who saves the Strawhats beacause he was impressed of Zoros TB-actions. Kizaru said nothing about Kumas actions to sengoku, so it could be that he is the "spy" who changes the sides in the war… That's typical oda like nobody would think, that he is one, same like Iva san's a revolutionary.
