None of those were serious fights though. Besides Yama, all of them ended in like 2 pages.
Chapter 369 "Ramen Martial Arts" Discussion
-
-
Yama only lasted because she was trying to run, so it shouln't count more than the others.
And that's what I say about Robin's powers. Either she can bend them, and the thing's over with, or she can't, and gets owned.
-
she's an assassin afterall and these don't fight in one on one battles much. only when forced too. :D

Well she better start on developing some one on one skills then because hanging around with Luffy will get her into such situations quite frequently. :D

i think she knows that . and that's why she ventures off on her own , or at least not with Luffy , most of the times , to avoid trouble that Luffy bumps into :D

**well thats all the uses of her power that you can think up but im pretty sure Oda has way more imagination than you he makes up moves you never would have thought about,
like gunther said somewhere "before onepiece i never knew there were so many ways you could streth rubber"
im sure Oda will make some real bad ass moves for robin and im just waiting to see them. -
Well, yeah, I'm not so creative, but it's already been over 250 chapters since she was introduced.
-
she already has badass moves, they can't get any better for they are the ones we don't see

**Well, the thing about Nami not fighting there was that she'd been fighting for 8 years by that point, alone. Besides, her taking on a weak Gyojin (she was pretty weak with her staff) wouldn't have meant much.I'd also like to see Robin sit back and get treated, especially since I don't think her style fits here. But whatever.
**ah, very true, I agree that Nami's physical streght is below those merman. I think that's why she has other type of 'fighting'. however, Robin is strong physically too (that's one reason why I adore her in the first place :P ). I think she can stand an one on one fight with CP9, that's why I would love to see her fight along with her friends for her freadom, rather than just sit back and watch her friends do that for her sake. but you also have a good point there, I also can't imagine how Robin will fight with her fighting style. but these are just our hopes, in the end I agree with wolfwood here, Oda is waaay to creative and he will satisfy us till the end. isn't that why we love One Piece?? :)
speaking of hopes…. I was hoping that the one who will slaped Robin back to reality is Nami, I really want to see their sister-relationship. but apparently, Sogeking will do that, and I can't wait to see what will happen in next chapter :D which lead me to another question: is there any spoilers this week??
-
Maybe tomorrow will have the spoilers. It's only Tuesday night there.
What I meant was even if Nami could beat one of the Gyojin, they weren't Arlong. Why take on someone that doesn't really mean anything to her? Robin fighting Calipha (or whoever) would be cool, but what does Calipha really have to do with Robin? For her, I'd say it's either Lucci (whose ass belongs to Luffy), Spandam, or Aokiji.
-
oh, my bad, a little missunderstanding there :P ah, now I see your point in Nami's situation. and for Robin,I just want to see her fight and didn't even think that far  good point.
and do we ussually have spoilers on wed? well I'll have just to wait patienly :P btw it's tuesday night in my time place too
-
For me, rather than Robin's fight, I would rather see her past first :P
I was so caught up with the PuffingTom and Rocket Man moment that I forgot about her past that I've been wanting to see so much. Since her involvement with CP9 wasn't associated with her past I almost forgot about it.I wonder if her past will be revealed in this arc???
-
Spoilers can come out on Tuesdays, but I just wait for Wednesdays.
Maybe she can explain her story to Soge King.

**ah…. so true!! how can I forget about that!! :o and I hope her past is revealed in this arc. but at the same time I also want to see the fight  confused
I hope thisMaybe she can explain her story to Soge King.
happens soon

Then I like her story to be very short. I don't like, and I don't think Oda will put in two big backround stories in the same arc.

I think the same about putting two flashback stories into one arc.
Other then that I think that we will still have to wait some time until we see her story because I just think that it will contain too much information about the bigger picture in One Piece. And if that would be so then telling it that early would mean spoiling a lot of the big story Oda is trying to tell slowly and carefully. Just what I believe. I don´t have any definite evidence to back that up.

For her, I'd say it's either Lucci (whose ass belongs to Luffy), Spandam, or Aokiji.
I would think that Franky has more claim to Spandam than Luffy does to Lucci; Spandam pretty much ruined his life after all.
And what would Robin do against Aokiji? Her powers won't work on a Logia user… at least not one that isn't being affected by seastone or the sea itself.
-
why is it that when robin fights none of her opponents so far have attacked her hands when she does her wrestling moves… you would think that would be the obvious thing... ATTACKING HER HANDS!
bah
anyways, this arc has been going on for about a year now right? i wonder if we will see the end of it before 2005 ends... i hope so, its dragging on too much for me
i just want to see luffy fight lucci already, these fights on the train are kind of boring BUT i understand why its being done (for the development of the other characters, usopp, sanji, franky and to eat up some more time) but damn are they boring, hopefully the next couple of chapters speed things up a bit by ending sanji&frankys fight and having usopp get caught or something
speaking of usopp wouldnt it be hilarious if the sogeking guy wasnt him?
and i wonder if we have seen the end of the aqua laguna, in the earlier part of the water 7 arc it was hyped up, it was aqua laguna this aqua laguna that, and when it did finally hit, what happened? 3 pages of a small tidal wave that knocked down a bridge, woooooooow
also i hope that when they all reach the eneas lobby and after the fight against cp9 they run into aokiji again, that would be cool and would add a nice twist to this very long and drawn out arc (or atleast make tom still alive and have him build a new ship for the strawhats, just like he did for gold roger)
anyways, so far out of all the new and stupid government cp members that have been introduced so far wanze is my favorite, shooting ramen out of his nose and making fun of sanjis eyebrows makes him a-ok in my book....
-
Wanze and Wiper are the only OP characters I actually hate. He really annoys me, and I hope his fight ends soon.
But yeah, I agree with this arc dragging on, Skypeia did that too. I hope we get another fun arc like Foxy's before the next big one. I think it just drags on though, because we have to wait a week for every new chapter. It didn't seem that bad when I was just starting OP and I could just read all the way up to Skypeia without waiting. -
You didn't hate Pearl? I hated Chess and Kuromarimo too…Can't say I hate Wanze, and I definately didn't hate Wiper, or Viper, or Waipa, or whatever his name is, I never quite got it. XD
-
BAHAH I really like Wanze.. nothing beats Ramen Kenpo!!
-
If OP comes out tonight I will be a very happy boy. The possibility of what could happen in 370 is making me tremble.
-
Considering from past week's behavior, it's possible. Prince of Tennis was already out 9am today (which also happened last week).
4am Thu morning pst…??
-
A Thursday afternoon release would be just super! :D
-
4 AM ?! Uwaa, you guys are all -LATE NIGHT WARRIAZ-. I'm weak, I need my sleep
I'm anxious for it though. I want to see Sanji and the… eyebrow.
-
Hell, I love Wanze. I think he's a lot cooler than friggin' Mr. 2.
One Piece characters I hated: Sham, Pearl, Chew, Mr. 3… not much more that I can think of. Possibly Lucci.

Nah, I'm not even awake then +_+ Alex lives the other side of the world.
-
No ? I think the last time I pulled all-nighters was when I was watching the Olympics last year. I don't even know why; the only thing on at 3 AM is like… sailboat competitions and rowing.
As for OP characters, the ones I KNOW I hated were Mr. 4 and Miss Merry Christmas. (though I got one hell of a laugh out of that Noro Noro Beam + Mr. 4 reaction in the SBS) The dog was cool, I just didn't like the pair ('specially not the missus). It was doubly satisfying to see her get the Usopp Pound after all of my 'ugh, I cannot STAND her' behavior, haha
-
i hate, hate, hate wanze!!!!i really hope sanji breaks all his bones!

**Yeah, and he ruined Spandam's face. It worked out already.
Maybe she can improvise. Luffy's powers didn't "work" on Croc, but he got around that.

As much as I agree with you in all fairness I have to at least mention that Wapol did the same to Chopper. But instead of dealing with Chopper pawned Chessimo while Wapol was owned by Luffy.

While that is true, Wapol was the strongest in that case. In addition, Luffy had an old score to settle with Wapol. In this case, Luffy already called dibs on Lucci, who is also the one he has a score to settle with. Unless Spandam is stronger than Lucci, I don't see anyone but Franky laying claim to him.

I see where you´re comming from, however that "he is the stronger dude" argument is somewhat different for Wapol then for Lucci because Wapol was a complete weakling compared to Luffy.
Lucci on the other hand is a villain that Luffy has to surpass as it was the case with Crocodile. That strong dudes are always reserved for the main hero to beat because he´s always the first one who grows in power, battle skills etc. -
i dont know if anyone is still interested but someone asked me for the spider-man scene which looks like the last panel in chapter 369, i couldnt find it but here is the proof that i tried it:http://www.paninicomics.de/forum/thread.php?threadid=5313
i know you guys cant read it, but again its just as proof that i tried it.

Oh boy, some of those responses you´ve received were pretty annoying IMO. Thanks for trying. I did the same at the He-Man.org forums but I got even less responses there. :(
