Good Times as a Kid

! - My parents use to take my brother and I to DZ (Discovery Zone) almost everyday when I was about 5 and my bro was about 2. This was until Chuck E. Cheese's ran them down about a decade ago. :( Man, DZ was like heaven. It's a lot like Chuck E. Cheese's, except the tunnels were longer and you get lost easier, and the ball pit was huuuge. There was a small archade room right by the cafe (sort of), and large toys for little kids.
! - We also had a large hippo plushy stuffed with styrofoam. We called him Butt-Cheese because he was all green with a yellow round belly. We kept him underneath the house for about a year or so to if the alley cats would rip him apart and use him as a litter box. The sad part was that our stepdad threw him out because we weren't 'taking care of it' and that Butt-Cheese was all dirty. Man, did we love that hippo. :(
! - We use to play Poke'mon Stadium on our N64. It got lost for quite some time now (it's still lost). Our cousin came over one time and my bro let him take the N64 apart, because it stopped working.
! - One morning my mom ordered us a Zoo Book with elephants. My brother and I didn't like elephants at the time, so we tore it apart and stuffed the torn pieces out of this slit where the mailman stuffs the mail in the door (front door). When our mom found out about this, she never bought us another Zoo Book again.
! - We use to draw on walls and lied to our mother saying that we didn't.
! - Most of our favorite cartoons were on back then, like the old Rugrats, Doug, ect.

In 7th grade (a couple years back) when I met one of my best friends on the bus while we were going on a field trip.

When I decided to go to the same school my brother did, then hated it. But I met somebody cool there.

Going to a Atlanta Braves game back when they were on top

Getting chased purposely by dogs while on bikes. Almost got caught once.

Playing Basketball at the local gym. We hardly ever got to finsh games because of everybody making gay calls all the time. Quite funny

Weekend Free-for-alls, basically wrestling outside, everything aloud except blows.

Sneaking into a local warehouse & messing with the machinery. My friend hoped on a bulldozer and rammed it into a dumpster. Funny shit

Me and my friend would verbally assault each other whenever we would get together as a group (our jokes were so harsh & funny, good times)

3 years ago in 8th grade i was at a movie theather there were candy machines that you pulled a lever and the candy fell in your bag and you had to pay according to the weight. One of the machines broke on me and I had to pay 11$ of reese-smarties and other treats.

But boy was it yummy.

I also ate a whole stick of butter when i was 7.

Ah, I used to go to DZ as a kid! I don't think they have those around anymore… And back then, Chuck E Cheese was actually kinda cool...

I grew up watching The Simpsons and R rated movies, thanks to my dad XD
Lesse.... in 1997 I went to Disney World and Universal Studios... that was pretty cool. Sadly, that was the last thing my family ever did together, before my parents got divorced ^^

I used to always try 'finding adventure' by wandering out to the field near my neighborhood (which is now no longer an open field... there's a road and some houses and stuff)... It was usually me and a few of my friends, or sometimes just me... I was kind of a loner as a kid ^^ always off in my own little world.

As for trouble.... I'm sure I did some stupid things as a kid. I can't remember anything in particular, but there are lots of fun memories from when I lived in Fort Worth....

I would spend the summers at my dad's house. We would ride our bikes all over the place, have bike races, and go swimming all day.

Over the school year, back at my moms, I would go out in the fields and explore, and catch lizards. I was such the little tomboy.

My friend thomas and I have so many funny memories. One time we took this aol cd and put it in the mircowave. Even if we were in 3rd grade (actually he was in 4th) we were still cautious. Just to be safe we put the mircowave to 30 seconds. We popped the cd in and it started. The first 5 seconds and the spark flew off and a mini blot ofr lightning (or so it seemed) hit the cd. We are liike "OH SHIT!" Luckily nothing happened to the mircowave. It was still pretty funny.

We also took 34 pairs of chopsticks and lite them all on fire. Oh man good times.

Also though possibly my best moment as a kid was in the second grade. I was at the Denver Nuggets vs the Utah Jazz game. I liked the nuggets, but I really liked the jazz so much more considering my mom was from utah, even if we lived in denver. Anyway I was wearing my karl malone jersey and had a sign that said go jazz. When they were warming up I yelled out "GO KARL!" We were sitting pretty closed since the nuggets sucked at the time and he heard me. Time pases by and it's the end of the game and the jazz win. Then something amazing happens. The utah jazz trainer says for me to go over to him and says this is a gift from karl.

KARL MALONE GAVE ME HIS WIRSTBANDS!

Damn they are so awesome. They are black with purple writing that says "utah jazz, karl malone #32 'the mailman'" Damn best moment ever

(Although going on the pepsi centers floor for the ncaa contest was pretty awesome too.)

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about this… Me and one of my friends were bored one day and decided to set things on fire.... We used some hairspray (it was probably my sister's) and a lighter... it was pretty fun. We lit random things on fire, like old power ranger dolls and barbie dolls... and some empty soda cans. I got in trouble for it later, but it was worth it at the time I guess XD

I remember when I was in 6th grade, I went over to visit a friend's house. We were sooooooooooooooooooo bored, so we did soemthing. We got soem alcohol (perfume) then a lighter, started a fire rly HUGE ONE, and then the tree started to get on fire..

My brother and once had these huuuge teddy bears. Kids from the neighborhood would come to rip the stuffing out of them and stuff. It was so much fun. The cotton was all over the front yard. Well, this one day, my brother suggested throwing one in the middle of the street so people could run over it. A car came by carrying an old couple. They stopped because of the teddy bear laying in the road. My brother told them to go and they ran over the teddy bear. XD Next came some guy in the truck, yelling at us to take the bear off the street. My bro grabbed it and our mom told us to clean the mess up. Good times.

I would hit the dad in the head with the plastic pan. :D
And we'd play "Who Took the Cookie from the Cookie Jar" at the end of each day. We had a pet hermit crab. I never got to bring it home. T_T

Me and my brothers and their friends where throwing a soccer ball into a tree and knocking down stinkbugs. We did that for around two hours and then we shoved all the bugs in a can and threw the can onto the road so it would get run over. It was goddamn fun.

Then in fourth grade I broke my front tooth in half when I fell from my desk trying to reach a pencil in the floor. Ended up getting a porcelain one.

In sixth grade, a guy swinging on the roots growing from a huge tree in my school kicked my chin and said porcelain tooth sunk into my lip. Ended up with a big hole in my lip for about a month (that one actually sort of hurt).

Man, those were the days.

I remember it was a grade 6 or 7 birthday party, we were about to watch the Fifth Element and the kid whose house we're at had a very very old VCR with all these wires showing, so he leaves the room and comes back in with Rubber Kictchen gloves on to work his VCR, then we waited a while to watch South Park.

another one happened in Grade 10 and I watched 2 friends of mine break up and get back together 8 times in the same day, quite funny.

A majority of my childhood was spent playing video games for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System and watching Disney movies and playing with my cousins.

Anyways, I remember when I was a kid, when you used to be into everything, Power Rangers, Pokemon, there was something else too. Now that you look back youre like, wot shit!

I used to live in Japan and play tag in the the hallways, go out every day in the hot summer, just to ride bikes with my friends and buy a cup of ice cream for 100 yen, go to the school pool, explore places we hadn't been, hang out at the school playground. Ahhh, I miss that. T-T

Yeah, it seems that most of the games we played when we were kids is no longer a fad today…Kids right now tend to stick with computer games with high graphics.
Me and my friends used to invent all kinds of games on the street. Like the "tambo lata" or "can tag" : where we place cans on a street and throwing slippers at it (I forgot the name of the game tho')
Tags were played almost everyday. And some of us would even play "bahay bahayan" where we would act out as grown ups, the girls tend to play as our housewives cooking all sorts of inedible stuff, while the boys tend do jobs like fake rock hauling and more.

OMG!!! If you combine your first accident with your 2nd and 3rd injuries you get what happened to me!
Except it wasn't a real see saw, it was a large plank of wood with nails in it we found and made a see saw.. (those were poor days :sad:) and it hit me on my front tooth, which broke and my lip/chin puffed up with puss and blood.. no stiches though, for some reason I tend to be wolverine when I get hurt and I just heal anything and everything without having to get stiches (I literally ripped my knee's skin in half one time and i didnt notice the bleeding till my pants turned red, and i just put iodine on it, and it healed on its own!).

Good times: spending time with my sisters who left as soon as I went to 3rd grade for college and are now married, and I never see them.

In 6th grade (a few years ago), I got cut by a chipped measuring cup.

It started when I went to get one for my group in Science class. They were all in these clear bins. I think I opened the lid and a chipped cup cut my middle finger as soon as I opened the lid. It started to bleed really bad. Another student had to walk me to the nurse's room to make sure I don't pass out from blood loss on the way. I almost had to get stitches.

I broke my toe by riding my bicycle too fast in flip flops and it got stuck in the spokes. We never realized it was broken so we just let it heal, and now I have a crooked toe. =I
