It's still there, though I personally think that the super-deformed style jokes are a bit overdone in the first thirteen episodes or so.

The first twelve or so episodes are kind of rushed, since the first show already covered that material.

Aside from that, there really aren't any valid complaints about it.

I think how it blasts through material cutting out interesting character development and twists around the plot itself is a valid complaint.

…and like I said, that only really applies to those first episodes.

They've pretty much been going it totally accurate to the manga as of late, with only really minor changes.

And some stuff like Envy's last stand were actually handled better in the anime than in the manga.

Oh, you're right. But Kimbley wasn't really an ally the way i see it, he was wicked while being evil to neutral from his siding and he might have helped Ed there with his last interference, but that red shrimp would have overtaken the fetus even without his help.

! More of everyone, including the military soldiers, attacking Father, who eventually starts to loose control of the god within him, Ed completely totals his arm trying to fight Father, necessitating the exchange at the end, and Roy still uses Alchemy.

I also read that there's an advertisement for the final chapter in the magazine that says that it will be a collossal 150 pages long. If that's true, that's absolutely insane! No wonder the anime director said that he was so surprised at it.

! Aparently, it was still conected, as Al's body should have died, but as it was connected to Ed, the energy obtained by food somehow reached it, the arm should have a better conection.

I dunno, he looked uncharacteristically grim and you could see his eyes through his glasses (always a giveaway that the character is far from harmless) and everything. But regardless of what happens with that plotline, the opposition forces are sure going to have their work cut out for them when this is all over.

i took that to mean that he's a sneaky bastard, and not to take him lightly just cause he's an old man. I took his comment the same way i took mustang's mini skirt comment in the other anime. :P

Usualy, when I read FMA I fell unsatisfied with the chapter, later I reread it with the whole picture and it's even better. But this chapter… is different. I fell like it was. .perfect

Best site I've found is Eclipse Speedsubs. They seem to be fairly competent, though they take a little longer to come out with releases because of that. Personally, being caught up on the Manga, I think it's worth the wait.

And with it, we have chapter 97 pages 1-14 and 26-40 and chapter 98 pages 1-27 covered.

Also, Mangastream is said to be doing this chapter. I hope to wake up when it's already has been released.

You can catch up! I always need a new manga to be catching up to, which is why I chose Jojo which I will be busy with for a good while yet even at the speed I am going at.

I have a little schedule of other manga to catch up with while I'm reading Jojo so the task doesn't seem as duanting. However that gets dropped immediately when the new FMA chapter is released.

In fact anything short of the university library catching fire or someone dying in front of me or or something will not stop me from dropping what I am doing and reading FMA.
