i think it is a nice spin that Sanji came back and saved Usopp's life. Not only will he redeem himself, but he proved once again that he's always there for his nakama (just like in Alabasta)
I too am looking forward to the next chapter.

on the fact that coby will be on the buster call, i thought that for granted, i thought he was gonna come on the buster call…
but i think coby will do something to achieve some rank in the story, (and maybe he'll also be a gateway for the mugiwara to run away..... just maybe)
If Coby actually witnesses a Buster Call I think he'll go on the path of moral justice as opposed to the idea of absolute justice. Yeah. I tried to articulate that in a coherant manner and failed and my spelling is off aswell.
I admit I felt a little disappointed after seeing Sanji reentering the fight. I can understand the disappointment felt by his fans, so I am not annoyed seeing their rants and complaints. I would have felt as bitter as some of them if Sanji entered into Chopper's or Nami's battle. If only Blueno did not fight with Luffy too early in the story, then there's enough CP9ers (I do not include Spandam and his elephant) for everyone.
Unless Usopp asks Sanji to go away and let him fight Jyabura himself, Sanji is going to be involved in this battle somehow.
Off-topic:
To those who complain about how cliche cat fight is, I'm wondering why no-one complain about the even more cliche male vs male fight. Are you assuming that females are weaker, so to fight a female makes one a loser, even if that person happens to be a female herself?

Who on Earth would do that in a story with an 80% male cast aimed at young boys in a young boy comic magazine?

That made no sense, but there can be no debating that females are weaker, for the most part.

Is that another masculinity thing? No seriously, your sexism talk is pissing me off. And I'm a man. Hina, Robin and Nami are by no means "weaker" than their male colleagues. Just because there are fewer female characters crazy and determined enough, to become an elite fighter, doesn't mean they are automaticly weaker. Physical strength doesn't automaticly determine actual fighting abilities in One Piece.

This recent exchange reminded me of a very, very famous exchange that happened a long, long time ago in a place that was named after a whale's vagina in German…:
Veronica Corningstone: Mr. Burgundy, I'm a professional, and I would like to be able to do my job.
Ron Burgundy: Big deal. I am very professional.
Veronica Corningstone: Mr. Burgundy, you are acting like a baby.
Ron Burgundy: I'm not a baby, I am a man. I am an anchorman.
Veronica Corningstone: You are not a man. You are a big fat joke.
Ron Burgundy: I'm a man who discovered the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn. That's what kind of man I am. You're just a woman with a small brain. With a brain a third the size of us. It's science.
Veronica Corningstone: I will have you know that I have more talent and more intelligence in my little finger than you do in your entire body, sir.
Ron Burgundy: You are a smelly pirate hooker.
Veronica Corningstone: You look like a blueberry.
Ron Burgundy: Why don't you go back to your home on Whore Island?
Veronica Corningstone: Well, you have bad hair.
Ron Burgundy: [insulted] What did you say?
Veronica Corningstone: I said… your hair... looks stupid.
...I love Anchorman.

WSJ #29 Cover/Color spread for One Piece ch. 415
cool :D Hope it will feature Franky
Cool, spread. I need new wallpaper.
I think if Usopp's not too beaten up, he'll fight against Spandam.
But how will he get there? Franky's the closest and in my opinion, the perfect one to rescue Robin.
One final speculation before the next chapter comes out. This one's a little more wild than usual, so I see it going either way, that is between not happening and not happening. Anyways, we'll see what happens :)
Warning, the following is speculation:
We'll find out that the "Door of Dreams" Spandam speaks of is actually a laboratory of sorts for researching and resurrecting ancient weapons/ancient technology (note that I said ancient weapeanS not THE ancient weapon). There we'll find Tom being held up where his skills have been put to work by Spandam and the WG to resurrect these weapons for the last 12 or so years. Since Tom is still alive, Franky has finally now been given the chance to achieve his only goal he's had up until now - retrieving Tom back. Once he achieves this goal, he'll go back to pursuing his true dream, building his "ship of dreams."
I'm still on the fence on guessing whether Tom is alive or not. But it would be kind of cool to get some kind of message from his former mentor. If he's not alive, maybe he'll find some kind of note from him or something.

I've always saw Tom as still being alive myself, in some form or other. The reason why is because we still have the issue of Franky's goal still being the desire to retrieve Tom back no matter what. That issue, I feel, sort of needs to be resolved before we can move forward and have Franky finally fulfill his true dream, i.e. building his dream ship. And I haven't been able to figure out any sort of adequate resolution to this issue that doesn't involve Tom being alive. But hey, this is Oda we're talking about. I'm sure with his boundless creativity, if he wants Tom to be dead, then I'm certain he'll find an adequate solution to this problem that'll satisfy everyone. So I'm not ruling out the possibility that Tom is dead at all. But until Oda actually says so, I'll continue believing he's still alive.
And my belief that Tom is still alive is why I see the theory I presented as somewhat plausible, even though I feel iffy about it (the 'iffyness' mainly stems from the lack of a solution not being based purely on speculation to why Tom would want to help the WG).
its already wednesday, and keep refreshing apforums … :D
this is a looongggg day

I hope he's alive in the Impel Down ^^b
Yeah, same here on the Tom-san situation and Impel Down.

Me tooooo
I <3 Battle Franky
About Impel Down, if Tom's there, then there should definitely be at least one member of Gol D Roger's crew.
Well, not definitely, but how cool would it be for the Strawhats to team up with a former member of the original pirate king's crew?
