there are perhaps a few sanji usopp scenes you should cut a bit shorter (imo the fishing scene doesnt need the head smack for example.)

the sleeptalk scene is gold for usoppxsanji though ^^

did you want the english subs for anything? i dont think i noticed a releveance to the theme yet… perhaps you should try getting a hold of raws to make the amv of? (incase you tried but couldnt then nevermind)

I was trying to follow the lyrics of the song, hence the nami scene. The singer sang "She must be special/ this new girl by your side/…" I should have put down the entire lyrics to make it more clear.

As for cutting the scenes shorter, I was more concerned about the timing, hence I have to compromise the relevancy (sp?). Of course there's room for improvement.

As for the ending, the video clips I use come from the vcd I bought and it contains 2 channels. I have yet to figure out how to switch off or remove the other channel.

robin: a bird? Oda mentioned before that he liked to name his female characters after birds.
chopper: the anime states that chopper's antlers looks like they can be used to chop trees, hence the name.

Is it that hard to believe? I don't like Luffy too. The same goes to Usopp. I don't like BB's crew as the final villians as well. However if they are just normal villians, I'm fine with it.

Inuyasha: Almost everyone in it. The only tolerable character is Kikyo.

Fruits Basket: Kyou Souma.

I have no right to judge about Oda's storytelling skill. All I can say is I'm losing interest in this series after EL arc has ended. [Out of topic]But the forum is still interesting, so I still come back to check out the discussions.

I agree with you partially. You have to read some other series to understand why some of the members here complain about Nami, or even Robin.

I know naughts about Tenchi Muyo, but I hardly see any females fighting in Shaman King as well.

I guess there's no way I can keep my discussion unbiased, since like many others here have mentioned, this is all based on personal opinions.

When I started OP, it was the first shounen series I read, so it was automatically the best. I was enthusiastic about this series until CP9 saga. However after I'm exposed to other series, the uniqueness is gone. Currently I prefer a less popular series call "Get Backers". This series makes OP seems a little shallow and simple in terms of plot (IMO of course). I also prefer its art style to that of OP. It doesn't help that the recent arc fails to impress me that I've stop following OP for a while.

In short, OP isn't the best manga around.

@Roku Ou Gan: I think thats obvious. Shoujo mangas appeal generally to girls, so the mangaka focus on making the male character good looking. For fair comparison, you should compare N and R to female characters of other shounen manga.

As for Robin, I dunno. For me she is still the same character of always, only less mysterious now. I liked her more when she was Miss All Sunday.

As for Robin herself, if she changes too drastically, are you sure you guys can accept it? I think she's ok the way she is.

It's just an opinion. Pesonally I thought the same way. It was from this arc onwards when I lost a little interest in OP. To me, Skypiea was way better. But like I say, it's just an opinion. I think most of the others in this forum still like Thriller bark arc.
