You guys also have to realize. We are currently having some of the best animation we've had in awhile. It is common knowledge that Better drawn frames = crappier animation, and Worser drawn frames = smoother animation.
By not putting as much effort into frames they are able to draw more so hence give us better animation.
I just want to clear up that that's not at all true. No matter how many inbetweens you're using, the quality of animation still depends on the strength of your drawings. Consider the fact that the series seems more animated just with Oda's still drawings.
Quality animation is never about drawing more, it's about drawing better. At worst, you can be like Adventure Time and have a natural sense of timing, but that's still put to better use if you're a genius like Peter Cheung and you use that skill to animate a small number of quality drawings (as in Aeon Flux.)
