Yeah, yeah. This should have been started last week.
ESPN Announcer at halftime: Pass interference being called on the Patriots makes Baby Jesus cry. Anyway, the Bears/Panthers are totally going to kick Seattle's ass next week.
Me: Hey, remember a few years ago when the officials let the Patriots mug Jerry Rice on every play? Why did they let them cheat so much during all of their Super Bowl runs anyway?
Phil Simms: I kinda suck as an announcer, but not as much as my kid does at being a QB. Hey, Al Wilson is hurt. Let's talk about Tom Brady instead and how his passes cure cancer.
Me: Hey, if the Broncos are ahead, maybe, just maybe you should talk about them instead.
Anyway, remaining matchups this weekend:
Carolina Panthers versus Chicago Bears
It's supposed to be a balmy 40+ degrees, so weather probably won't affect the Panthers so much. I still want the Bears to win so we can see an updated version of the Super Bowl Shuffle.
Pittsburg Steelers versus Indianapolis Colts
Indoors so weather isn't a factor. Colts to win.
