Soda…

In Japan, there exists a very unique soda called Ramune, that requires you to push a marble down into the drink in order to carbonate it. I'm sure some of you have heard of this, but what you probably don't know is that there is now an anime "based" on this soda.

I found episode 9 here, but be warned that it's a little disturbing.

I saw it once at the local oriental market. My father (the daring type) bought a bottle. I prefer the "potato flavoured snack" crisp-things from Korea.

They sell Ramune in my area at our local Asian Market. heh.

Wow, to think that this show has lasted even 9 episodes. Must be a damn good soda. Of course, that is what they want me to think…

They sell Ramune, Pocky, etc. at a bunch of stores around me. Which is funny, because the Asian population here is pretty small, and I've never met a Japanese person.

But that damn soda, I ended up busting the bottle ($3 for one!) only to find out the instructions had been in my pocket. So you can imagine how I feel about this anime.

I think the only reason it is that cheap really is the location it is at. Small community = lower prices. About the only good thing living in this area.
