I never heard of an Back Ache that lasted more than a year though.
Everyone has to lift stuff the correct way or they will slowly damage their back most people damage their back by lifting items that are to heavy for them which means at least 2 people should be lifting it also its not just old people that can damage their back most of them think its just a backache until they get it checked if its only minor a back/neck massage can normally help.

If I remember correctly, Togashi had back ache problem since Yuyuhakusho days. He's a lot older now so the problem could be much more severe.
Personally, if Togashi have this problem for very long while, he should have retired or opt for a less strenuous work schedule… -

It happens all the time Especially if its a major back problem. I've personally suffering with fairly nasty back pain off and on the last two months. It's not severe and getting better, but then some days its awful and I don't feel like doing anything as a result. You can be fine one day and then terrible the next.

The pain doesn't need to last the entire time. You can't just go back sitting on a drawing desk and leaning forward for extended periods of time right after the pain subsides.

It's possible that it's a half truth.
I know when I was hospitalized with Crohns that kept me from moving far from my house, it took me months to feel like I could go outside again, even after treatment and feeling better. If you couple that with depression or something, then I can understand how the medical thing might have had this long of an impact.

Hell just a little bit of depression can take you out of anything for a long time. Toppled with some health issues. I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case especially with a mangaka lifestyle.

Just to clarify, I'm referrring to him working in a monthly magazine instead of a weekly magazine. Or taking ocassional short break like Oda (which took him 7 years to figure out).
Basically, a reasonable work schedule that can cater to his heath problem.
Not getting burned out and coming back every 2 years.=.= -

I do not see the Ryodan ever looking for employment, as they are thieves, so stealing is what they do.
Now I could see them having a part in this arc, but not as a bodyguard because it would not make sense for them.
On the other hand, I could see Chrollo working as a bodyguard, especially if where they are heading is east. -

Chapter started great and it's awesome it's happening. At the same time it goes without saying that its placing is out of nowhere, and Chrollo explaining his abilities just bleached it, would have been more fun seeing Hisoka figuring it out by himself.

this was a fun chapter to read, i liked it alot. even though it came out of nowhere and it feels like fan service.
i don't think either of them are gonna kill each other though, both characters are too important for the plot. can't wait to see the new powers chrollo's gonna use -
Both this characters take their word seriously. So them deciding on a Death match means we're guaranteed the death of one of them.
I wonder who would serve the story better in the future.
My money's on Chrollo because he's well equipped to deal with whatever might come back from the New World but then again this is Togashi and he loves subverting expectations.
