Ambivalent about the other one. I need to see first and then I'll decide what I think. When does CoroCoro come out? This weekend?
I think it comes out every 15th day of the month. We should get the leaks tomorrow.

@The:
(Some) Information we're getting from CoroCoro this week:
! Basically the Riddler (this guy has been very reliable in the past with Sun & Moon information; VERY, i.e. Salandit leaker) translated it to Chinese and then folks on Bulbagarden translated it to English, basically unmasked Type: Null is Dark/Normal with Mold Break, Alolan Persian is Dark/Fairy, and there's an Alolan Ekans-line that's Fighting-type–-we had a similar rumor about a Fighting-type Ekans last time around interestingly enough.
The riddler isn't the Chinese guy, also why would the a Chinese guy know what will appear in CoroCoro? the Chinese guy leaked actual game info that was revealed during the subsequent months, he didn't say "CoroCoro will have this on it".
Anyway seems the magazine is leaking, Alolan Grimer is the only thing out right now, it's Dark/Poison.
!
Apparently Type:Null can change it's type depending on the item it's holding and has a evolution.
Considering it's a Chimera someone was basically trying to recreate god (arceus) itself lol.

So alolan Grimer is regular shiny Grimer with yellow lipstick? This and Meowth alolan form are very lazy, at least to rattata and raticate there were differences. So to everybody who were wondering how they would make a fighting arbok, Game Freak will just paint it orange and brown, the type colors.

Looks Black or Gray to me, Shiny Grimer is green.

Maybe it is the low quality or because my eyes are bad, but for me it looks greenish gray. Even so my point stands, it is just a palette swap with teeth added.
They missed some serious potential. I think they could have made him steel/poison by incorporating trash into Grimer's runoff (sorta like Wormadam's steel form).
All in all, I'd say Alolan Grimer is a waste.
Tsc, A!Grimer took the typing I was hoping for A!Koffing. Funny how simply adding those two teeth made Grimer look more likeable, though.
Would have made it Ground type like in that Hack ROM but maybe that's the problem

Don't we have that concept with Garbodor already?
Game Freak has never known what to do with Grimer and Muk.

Welp. I certainly didn't see that one coming.
Should have just made Alola Grimer pure fire, just make him lava. Or fire/steel if you want to get technical.
Apparently Jangmo-o's entire evolution line is featured in the magazine and it becomes Dragon/Fighting, which is unique among the typying combinations. Jangmo-o evolves twice.
I been suspecting that he would be dragon fighting for a while. The dex info suggested he was a fighter in training.
If type null can change his type freely that explains the name. Very interested in where their going with him.
Apparently the yellow is what happens when you get water in your engine block, so he dark type because he has oil in his sludge.
Poison/Dark is a much more useful type for someone like Muk who normally aims to tank hits. That psychic immunity is nice.
Was not aware of the menu telling you effectiveness :O
More leaks, and the contents are worth the wait.
First is Silvadi, the evolution of Type: Null.
!
! > When Type: Null finds a trainer it trusts, it destroys its helmet and evolves into Silvadi. It has a special item called Memory that lets it be one of all 18 types at any one time thanks to its ability, AR System. It's not currently known if it's one item that can change this, or if there are 18 different ones. The type change is reflected in its eyes, mane and tail which glow the colour representing the type. It has a new attack called Multi Attack which changes type based on its hold item
! .
And here's Jangmo-o's evolution line. Man, this dragon is going to be in many teams, I can already tell.
!
Jyararanga is definitely gonna be going on my team. Time to update my mono dragon team yeaaaaah
Jyararanga resembles a Buddhist warrior, I'm so in love with its design.
He looks more like aztec to me.
Jyararanga's design is going to benefit a lot in-game, complete with all those chains jiggling whenever it does an idle action or performs a move.
And Silvadi has to be one of the sickest designs I've ever seen in a long time. And the damn thing only had to destroy its helmet to look ten times cooler.
Those are some excellent looking 'mons.
Yep Jyararanga's a must have for my team too.
Urgh Ih ate when the forum crashed, and my posts are gone, I had posted about the leaks like three hours ago or so…
Anyway I like the dragon, but I really like Type Null evo, it looks pretty cool without the helmet.
There is also some more stuff from the media that was able to play the game.
! * Apparently there are only 7 Trials/Trial Captains.
! * A media report said Meowth, Ratatta, and an unrevealed one(whicht they didn't spoil since it isn't officialy out) alolan formes can be caught pretty early in the game.
Even though Silvadi is officially an evolution, I suppose it is more like Type:Null's true form? Regarding it's appearance, hmm, not my thing.
Jarango is… nah. Not a fan of it as well. I was hoping something better for Jangmo-o's evolution, now let's see the final ev...
the...
this...
... IS GLORIOUS!!! I am so much in love with Jararanga right now! I mean, look at that majestic mythical thing! It is perfect! I'm having an inner struggle right now because I want it in my team so bad, but it kinda overlaps with others there (the "big dragon spot" is already taken by Drampa and the "little guy looking up to the big dragon" spot is already taken by Wimpod). There is also the fact that it is probably the Alolan pseudo, making it a bit too strong to have in my team without making things too easy.
I only wish I could see it more as something out from a Hawaiian myth instead of Aztec, but I am totally ignorant regarding Hawaiian mythology so hopefully I am wrong.
Upon taking a closer look at Jararanga's tail, it really do resembles the staff of a Monk.
So it's a fighting monk dragon.
The Chinese leaker also hinted at this particular feature.

I highly doubt that this is real. Jangmo-o has two evolutions, not one, Type: Null has an evolution and I somehow doubt that there are this many one-stage Pokémon. And what's with the mini-sprites, old generation Pokémon that can be found in the wild? Why aren't all Pokémon listed if the grey ones represent the ones you'd have to import? Further Alolan forms? Doubt that there'll be so many.
Not that interested in these designs, but yea, they're alright.
Seeing jangmo-o's evolution just makes me glad it didn't turn out to be steel/dragon like I feared. Meanwhile, fighting/dragon just makes it a feast for my fairy team.

This is a compilation of leaked and official information, not one particular guy's leak. The solid mini-sprites are mons that have been seen clearly in either trailers or screenshots, which is taken to mean they won't have Alolan forms. I forget what the greyed out ones mean.

What? The image is not the whole dex, it only shows the confirmed pokémon and the ones he included in the riddles. The ? marks are for pokémon that we already know exist but were not revealed (Pikpek evolutions, Alolan Persian and two island guardians).

If I recall right, the greyed out pokemon are those that have been confirmed to not be found in the Sun & Moon, and that you're going to have to import from a different edition, if you wish to have one of those.
Notable points from the video:
! -D-pad does nothing, the circle pad controls your player
-running is default speed (no running shoes)
-slowdowns seem to be less than X/Y/OR/AS
-you can customize character early on?
-team EXP Share is back, although it's not 100% if it can turned off (most likely yes)
-they didn't see the regular forms of the Kanto Pokemon - will they appear?
-pokedex is initially divided by islands
-Hau picks the starter weak to yours
Also, I'm picking Sun, so no alien cockroach goddess for me :(
Ok, I just noticed something…

The greyed out ones are those that somehow appeared in the trailers or whatever (at least one of the evolutionary family) but weren't confirmed yet to be in the game. For example, Chinchou can be seen in a flag in that hotel/resort in Alola.

Wait…
I thought there was only four?

Ooooh I see, the question mark sprites led me to believe that it's supposed to show the whole dex with evolutions hinted at, not Pokémon and their evolutions we know of as of yet. Never mind me then, carry on.
Huh, did not know Shigeru Ohmori is directing the game (he directed OR/AS). First new gen where Masuda isn't the director, eh?
Wait…
I thought there was only four?
Those 4 all seem to be on the second island, so people been thinking their be some on each island, one for each type and that be how we get the z stones. The last trailer show a person named something like Ilmia (named after a flower) talking about their trial. Corocoro showed Ilmia, a guy or girl with pink hair and a sweater vest, stating that their the first trial captain.

Oh i see, thanks for the info :)
But what makes you say that the four previously announced seem to be from the second island?
Wait…
I thought there was only four?
4 revealed, and CoroCoro revealed a new one this month.
Oh i see, thanks for the info :)
But what makes you say that the four previously announced seem to be from the second island?
Well the fire one is shown at a volcano so that must be second island, theme grass girl mentions being in charge of the lush forest which the website mentioned being on second island, the water one was shown on what looks like the southern beach. And they compared the building for the electric captain.
Course they could be wrong, but it seems to match well.
I think that it was shown that all 4 revealed captains locations match the 2th island. But the first totem is gumshos and aRaticate so… Yeah no idea how the captains and totems and kahunas are distributed.
So…we have a video today, yes? Or nah?
Yes, in your usual video time… In about an hour or so
What, another one today!? Game Freak, chill the fuck out, Jesus.
What, another one today!? Game Freak, chill the fuck out, Jesus.
It's basically just the CoroCoro stuff in video form, BUT, they always add on new shit too. It's hilarious. Their marketing campaign for Sun & Moon seems like they want to get everything out before leakers do.
We might see these "new Pokemon" and the "Alola Form that hasn't been announced yet", that early previews that played like…2 to 3 hours of the game made mention of, in the upcoming video.

The new grass pokemon is cute, the others we already knew, and damn that Muk is terrifying.
