the smell just woke it up inside toriko since toriko was effected by the gas we saw that he had 3 in the another arc it was sitting at the kitchen table when they went in to get another.

Thats a perfect microcosm of everything wrong with recent Toriko right there.Same for the other full courses. Why establish Earth and Atom as targets of Sani and Coco, and not even show them eating them? These lists were a neat gimmick of the series, updating them could've been the perfect capper to an arc…and indeed used to be. Yet here, its just "My list is done now, because it turns out I added food from a previous arc, even if I didn't mention it at the time".

I disagree with the complaints of the can. We know Komatsu has had it for quite some chapters now and we all knew it would become relevant one way or the other. I think it was executed just fine. We don't need to know everything or need to have forshadowing for every element, a completely new ingredient (I mean, it WAS sealed away in a can which noone had a way of opening, you know?) introduced in this way, which led to the 'awakening' of the first demon was just fine. Seriously.
The Full Courses though, yeah, I agree.

What kills me is that Toriko really should have gone with the Puffer Fish Whale all along. Just getting to its habitat was a challenge. Capturing it was a challenge. Preparing it was a challenge. Tasting it was an almost transcendent experience. But naw, Torikos not gonna add it, because "theres sure to be even awesomer things out there".
I don't have a problem with the can holding something relevant. But to go from "the can contains an ancient fish" to "its now my full course fish dish!" in 5 pages? Thats insane. Insane and sad.

To me the worst thing is that basically we didn't see anything of the Gourmet World enviroment. I was expecting to see wonderful forests, woods or anything else, instead we got nothing of this! And the third Toriko's demon hinted to be extremely more powerful than the other two…awful...and now it seems Midora is going to die??? No way!
Neo isn't dead, obviously, but, for now, Don Slime has the upper hand.

Well, we saw all of this when Air/Pair and Another were captured.. At least, when Pair was captured.
But I agree, we haven't seen much of the world.. Shame Shimabukuro was forced to rush things, we could have seen such beautiful arcs…Neo isn't dead, obviously, but, for now, Don Slime has the upper hand.

Because from what I've understand, Acacia is the huge thing with horrible zits on it, and what we saw was only one tiny part of NeoOh and by the way : Is Acacia a bad guy or not ? I mean he's obviously controlled by Neo but… Is he really bad ?

- NEO gets struck by Don's black lightning, but his speed rises

- Don Slime continues to unleash many attacks, "Black Tornado", "Black Wholesale", "Black Lightning" but everytime NEO's speed rises and he appears in front of Don Slime

- Don Slime starts to put a heavy burden on his body
- Don Slime: "I'll make sure of it! Disaster Heavy Rain!"
- A myriad of meteors fall on NEO, enough to see the explosion from space
- Don Slime is worn out, but NEO dodged the attack again
- He eats Don Slime's head
- Don Slime remembers about the first time he met NEO and starts to tear up
- Don Slime uses the "Oshoku Bansan" (Dinner of Kings) on NEO

Neo is fucking creepy. And if Don can't kill him, I doubt anyone else is able to. Which leads me to believe that Don will actually succeed and the journey will culminate with the capture of GOD followed by the space hunt for the Neo spawn which Jirou knocked into space. With the idea of feeding it the full course and finally sealing it into a gold can!

neo is not ordinary, if you look back at the livestock nitro they said that they dont remember neo originaly being among the other livestock and they didnt know where he came from

I think it all revolves around his apetite. He is able to eat his foes through it attacks, his preys stay dead forever and dont go back to the reincarnation cycle (they stay "eaten"), and always comes back because he is always hungry.
He is like famine from the apocalypse riders. Why or how the nitros made a monster like that it would probably end unexplained.

Still this chapter, taken as one, was good.I think NEO just made them think he was weak so that they would not care if he was on the ship or not either way he is the end boss since even the nitro are willing to team up against him and all demons are stronger in living body's and he did not have a body when don slime beat him last also the body neo is in is stronger then the body don slime is in so he should have more enemy to use so its just a matter of time for don slime to lose after all he was just there to stall neo to give toriko and crew more time.

It was a nice fighting chapter, with more interesting well drawn panels than the Toriko & co. picnic. The fight itself feels kinda rushed and too soonish given the stakes that should have, but at this point in the series we should just appreciate anything that manages to be entertaining, wether it's a fight between demons or side characters like Ootake getting some panel time (or Toriko if you like him that much).
About the fight i didn't exactly like the twister moves because they felt cheaper compared to some other awesome panels in the past with detailed movements and expressions, as well as the meteor shower since we already got that in the past from Meteor Spice to that place in Air arc. Neo creepy expressions are ok but Don Slime with his confidence and original design is more interesting to look at. The final move felt like Goku vs Cell when the latter was blowing up, so the same outcome will probably happen here too.
Beside the Neo stuff i wonder how will the capture of God work, as well as Center since getting it after God would be weird

Good chapter but I wish the fight could have been more…EPIC. This is Don Slime and Neo, the baddest of the baddest. The meteor attack and laser beams are hackneyed and the tornado did nothing for me. Neo was sufficiently creepy though and Don's reaction to his "impending demise" was great. He just doesn't give a damn about as much as Neo. Looking forward to what Don has to offer next chapter.

I am newbie to Toriko but I can say that author is speeding up stuff but at same time.. damn dat art.
It will be amazing to see it in volume format on paper.Skipping areas is kind of awful though. Few extra volumes with each area after story wrap up could work I think, most likely wont happen but it could work.

I don't think he will add extra volumes but he has added extra pages to the chapters in them before.
