I'm still wondering how a badly injured Burgess couldn't be found by the Revolutionaries on the ship (especially with Commander level members on board); it 'almost' makes me call bullsh*t, but the RA vs BB Pirates hype is too much to not let it slide.

Making the Revolutionary Army become more and more relevant by having the Blackbeard Pirates attack them is awesome. I, too, wonder how Jesus can go undetected but if someone can suppress their haki or being near death suppresses it then that's fair enough cos every other series ever that has similar powers has people suppressing it. Buggy's business is interesting. I really thought Barto would get to meet the whole crew now but Oda really did need to get rid of him. Oda's saving the funniness for later.
Aaand even with all this talk about Wano and how there's several samurai now, it actually never occurred to me that there'd be ninja. I guess I thought that was Naruto's territory and Oda wouldn't mix it with pirates. But now I do hope he puts in a lot of ninja stuff into the inevitable Wano arc. It'd be cool if it's very Naruto-esque minus all the shitty things about that series I don't like.

Was Kinemon insulting it and then realizing his son is like that and then Kanjuro laughed about it or what?

Aw, I'm sad to see Barto go.
Good of Oda to continue tying up more Dressrosa loose ends. Though I don't quite see the revolutionary army as a good fit for fighting the BB pirates from an ideology/story standpoint, its neat that Oda followed up on those two Dressrosa factions.
I hope we're done with the Exposition scenes now, so that the Zou arc can finally start properly. I hope the Wano people get to shine; Kinemon had a great introduction at Punk Hazard, but Kanjuro could use some fleshing out.
I can't help but wish that Zou wasn't an "assignment", where we're told up front that Minkmen live, but rather a completely out of the blue thing which we later learn have Minkmen on it, but them the New World breaks. I'm still looking forward to seeing minkmen culture, to seeing the crew reunited and interacting (They've almost been gone as long as when Kuma separated them!), and to seeing action taking place on the precariously swinging tail and/or trunk of a giant elephant, or maybe even inside its body, Regal Mammoth style?
Side note, I feel kinda bad that I never got around to replying everyone two weeks ago. I should get around to that, when my life cools down a bit.

I believe it's Bart saying that he got more straw hat action in Dressrosa than he expected. He met so many of them and saw a number of them in action that it was an overload for him.

I like that analogy. Sometimes people think Oda screwed up and there's a plot hole but they just haven't considered the logical answer. With Raizou supposedly being said to be a monk or samurai in the past, I am sure Oda always planned for him to be a ninja and there's some explanation.

Kinemon explicitly said 3 samurai + Momo set out for Zou and the kaidou henchmen refer to the person they're chasing as a samurai, now they're calling their friend a ninja, can those terms be interchangeable in certain contexts or is there another guy running around :wassat:?

We finally get a new look at the Buggy Crew, but Buggy is hidden behind speech bubbles and Alvida and gang are so far away, we can't see anything… but I wasn't expecting anymore sidestories at all. So that was a pleasant surprise! Also Dragon not caring for his son. What a crappy dad.
So: when are we going to see the other revo leaders? after zou? at all? who are the other revo leaders? Will there be familiar faces? Maybe Kuzan, maybe Vegapunk himself?

I think that's likely, but then how is the Sunny tied to the elephant? If it's tied to its leg then they definitely knew it was an elephant. If they tied it much higher then they made the rope unnecessarily long. This might be a possible plot hole later on but fairly insignificant.

naah,with the sunny chained to the end of his leg,the elephant was moving just like it is now…also..nami just called it uneven terrain,that doesn't mean she doesn't know where she is
EDIT: even though,now that i think about it..maybe brook and nami went first for some reason and then the elephant woke up and the rest chained the sunny to the leg and went to the rescue

Maybe Raizou is both, they aren't mutually exclusive. Some samurais used to double as ninja during the night.

Oda has been spoiling us Rotten with updates on all these characters we havent seen in years and setting up immediate showdowns. Oda has definitely sped up the story immensely. Well not necessarily sped up but now that the OP world is richly fleshed out we'll get alot more happening. Because OP isn't just about the SH's there are so many other subplots going on.
I hope Oda actually shows parts of these fights and not just the aftermath. I REALLY want to se how Kid and gang stand up against Kaidou(or escape from him more likely, though its not all that far-fetched to think they'll actually take him out. The yonkou have to be taken out sooner or later anyway.)
The Blackbeard Pirates vs Revolutionary Army. Boy this is going to get messy. I imagine Teach will arrive with the full force of his fleet in tow and on the other side Dragon just called in the top leaders of the Revolutionary Army in. This could definitely get as messy as Marineford. Doubt we'll see much of it but I'll give up a kidney to get a couple of chapters of it.
