Amazing. I wonder if they will update graphics engine, I hope art style stays same but new engine would allow more flexible physics.
Can't wait for it. I'm still playing the pre-sequal.
I see myself passing on this.
I passed on the pre-sequel but I could see myself giving BL3 a shot IF they rebalance the stats/loot better. There's nothing worse than being stuck in a spot where the weaker enemies give you 0 EXP but can still easily kill you, yet fighting tougher enemies sucks because you can't get a good gun because their loot system is such an extreme hit-or-miss thing. That's what wore me down with BL2
Never had issues getting guns tbh then again I usually didn't rely on enemies I got my weapons from either quests or the shop (except for the minecraft shotgun)
So for a while now, we had rumours about the new playable classes. And it seems like that they were true, considering that we have pics now. Since its not officially announced, we should still take it with a grain of salt. But to me, it seems like the real deal.
I love the Borderlands Series and im so happy that we finally have something solid. Game announcement is still month away, probably pax east 2019.
Here are the pics of the classes, only 3 out of 4…
!
The Bot Jock Class is actually rendered because this character was already, pretty much, done. Its the one that was shown at the GDC 2017 Tech Demo. The other 3 are still concept arts.
!
Freaking Yes!!! Finally
New trailer is out.
Oh wow, I thought there already was a Borderlands 2.
Oh wow, I thought there already was a Borderlands 2.
They did say that they were working on this ever since Borderlands 2 finished… Guess they didn't have a lot to work on!
I wouldn't care if I didn't love the cast of Tales from the Borderlands so much and know they are returning. Glad to see Rhys and Zero hanging out. I'm wondering if the girls still work with him.
I'm down, but I'm going to need to find people to play this with, cause Borderlands 2 alone was not fun and became a chore real quick.
I can't think of anything Gearbox does without thinking of Randy Pitchford and his USB adventures.
I'm loving the amount comments i'm finding about Rhys mustache .
So far i'm liking what i'm seeing within the trailer, hope we have quest with Ellie reminiscing about Scooter .
Besides Borderlands 3, we also getting a remastered of Borderlands 1 and that comes out next week.
I was kinda disappointed in the Trailer, but it was only because of the extreme expactations i had for it. I imagined something else as a Trailer, but once my headcanon was destroyed i replayed it and i liked it.
Too bad that there is no release date :(…but its coming out this year for sure. Its my most anticipated game ever and i know its gonna be more fun than Borderlands 2. Its just BL2 but way advanced and enhanced.
What i like about the trailer:
What i dont like:
Other stuff:
The Villains, the Calypsos Twins Tyreen and Troy. They seem cool and interesting, but im not convinced that they are good villains. I dont expect them to beat Handsome Jack, as one of the best game villains ever, but lets see how that plays out. What im sure about is, that they are way more powerful than Handsome Jack.
The weapons so far seem over the top. They look crazy. But its just a few out of many types, so i dont have a verdict now. Most important thing for me is, in regards of weapons, the feedback. When you shoot, you have to feel great. Borderlands 2 does a good job with it, but it needs serious improvements.
Epic Store Exclusive. Since GB and Epic are buddies, they might help the Epic Store. We dont know yet, but its a high possibility. Even though i dont care myself, i feel bad for the outrage and backlash
In conclusion: SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!
My only beef with the trailer is that since I followed the leaks it was cool but not really surprising.
What I wanted was to see some actual gameplay, a side quest or so, but I guess that's what's coming in a week when Gearbox does their thing.
As for judging the villains, c'mon, we can't do that now, we don't actually have nothing to judge them on.
Jack is a great villain because you've played the whole BL2 game and got to know him before shooting him in the face. Gotta do that to the twins before reaching a veredict.
And I don't think it will be an Epic Store exclusive. They just announced the HD updates/remasters of BL1&2 for all consoles, including pc/steam. And some big figure at Gearbox or Take2 was asked about the Epic Store a couple of weeks ago and said they liked selling their games to everyone.
Handsome Jack is still one of my favorite villains of all time.

Yeah he is great. Did you ever play Tales from the Borderlands? I would recommend it. Its enough to watch a walkthrough. The later Parts are amazing and the game made Handsome Jack even more "likeable"
Glad that here are few peeps whom like the franchise. Oh man i cant wait.

I also was up to date with the leaks. But it still surprised me and it also made me more excited, knowing what is waiting for us.
Regarding the villains, i know that i should not judge them. It wasnt exactly what i meant. What i wanted to say was that it is very hard to compete with Handsome Jack. Of course, it really does not matter. Its a looter shooter
Release date, box art, and the collectors and deluxe editions have been detailed
Man i hope they will restock their freaking collectors edition. Sold out first day…what kind of BS is that. How many did they make? 100?
Oh god.
I was hopoing for a few gameplay vids last wednesday and then they announced Epic store exclusivity for 6 months.
Guess I'll be playing this one on the PS4. At least for year or so, I might go pc after it's launched on Steam and provided a nice sale or promotion is going on.
The gameplay vids seem to be scheduled for May 1st, btw.
I didn't expect more from the Trailer than it has shown:
other planets, old chars (even from tales) and customizable rides (aside from the car-paint).
I only have to get used to Maya's new hairstyle.
If anyone wants to Play coop on PS4, PM, but notice: I am not a rusher, I'll try to enjoy this game.
As a heavy Steam user, I don't get the hate for epic. If B3 were a Steam exclusive for a year, nobody would bat an eye. What's the problem? Login into Epic store? I have to do the same everytime with Steam when I want to play a game. They fucking invented that shit.

At first I felt the same. I use other stores too, like Uplay and Origin and I have an Epic account for some freebies even.
But then I started seeing the comments about why nobody is diggin the Epic store. It lacks a lot of basic features like a shopping cart and gets hacked all the time. It didn't felt like a good system yet to me so I prefer to play it on the PS4 and bypass that. I played the first one on the PS3 too so it feels like going back home.

Reminder that the Borderlands 3 gameplay reveal stream is starting in 17 minutes
I liked what I saw very much.
Even though its an early build, it already seems more fun than BL2. The cool thing is, that there were hardcore BL Streamer at the event. They played it and the verdict was one sided. It exceeded high expectations…even though it was early in the game. I was also impressed and of course i noticed every change...and them make BL so much more fluid and fun. I cant wait for the release.
Gotta get used to the new item Cards. BL2 and BLTPS had the sameitem Cards. But that's just me crying on a high Niveau. Lookin Forward to new Content and Lore about this Franchise.
Borderlands 2 got a new update, with a new level that sets up Borderlands 3. Its free to get until July 9th. Here's the trailer for it.

Fortunately they fixed it yesterday evening, so HC-owners on PS4 without PS-Plus could download it.
SPOILERS AHEAD [hide]I played until the defeat of Uranus (TT was hilarious, they even made her super-serious before the Boss, just to make her boast out laughing when reading "Uranus").[/hide]
From what I played by now, it's a solid add-on. Better than Dragon Keep IMHO.
But I think it is only free til July 8th, 20:59 (don't know which Zone-time).
ADDITIONAL INFO TO THE NEW ADDON:
-YOU CAN BOOST A NEW CHAR-CLASS TO LVL 30 TO PLAY CONTENT LIKE PIRATE BOOTY AND FIGHT FOR SANCTUARY RIGHT FROM THE START WITHOUT PLAYING THROUGH THE MAIN GAME FIRST
-FAST-TRAVEL-LOCATIONS ARE NOW SEPARATED BY CONTENT (THE DUST IS IN MAIN CAMPAIGN AND FLAMEROCK REFUGEE IS IN DRAGON KEEP)
I've been waiting for the dlc for months, since I followed the leaks, and now that it's out I have actual work to do before I can take some time to play.
Not that I'm complaining about working it's just the best laid plans of mice and men…
Here's the E3 trailer for Borderlands 3.
I started the game. So I'm enjoying as much I like Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequal. Amara is fun character to play as so far.
What tree are you going for?
I'm doing a meele Amara, with the phaseslam.
I'm playing Zane right now, focusing on the Digi clone tree with some of the SNTL skills. Played a lot this weekend and reached level 36 but there still seems to be a good amount of game left.
I played for about 20 hours straight on release day. Then I had a game breaking bug so I couldn't finish the story. I'm doing a second run through now to see if I can actually finish the game this time, but if not I think I'll just be done with it.

Have you met Billy the Annoying? What a shit-broken boss!
I love Zane btw! short cooldowns, useful Action skills.

My game crushed yesterday in the menu. Loaded again and my Story Mission was gone. When I paused the game wrote "Updates available". After another Restart I was able to follow the next main quest again.
Yes, Billy was probably the most annoying boss in the game. I was lucky i was playing with a friend, so it wasn't THAT bad and we could rezz each other.
And i really like Zane too. He feels pretty different with his two skills and his playstyle is very unique. I'm running Digi-clone with shield right now. The freeze-skill is very OP btw when paired with a high fire-rate gun or a shotgun as long as you hit many crits. I constantly freeze everything around me and it even counts for the clone.
For my playthrough as Amara, I'm focusing on the Mystical Assault skill tree at the moment. I'm only up to the point of defeating Rampager. And I have to say that boss fight is one of the hardest one I had to play in a long time.
Yeah, it worked fine on my second playthrough and I was able to beat the game. And I gotta say, not as good as 2. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't especially great either and I think the villains are to blame for that honestly.
IDK, so far I like BL3. Of Course HJ was a cool villain (he had a jokeresque Charisma especially in TotB IMHO). It's hard to top such a villain.
Right now I'm at the Family jewel Mission.

Found a lonely Quasar at eden-6. It's crazy if you skill ductaped for you and your clone with nade-regen. Let alone that double Barrel where you equip a rocket launcher while activatin the clone.
And i fought Billy in that Lobby before the Theater so at least his stupid slag(?)-ball couldn't connect.
Luckily you can shoot the flame skulls for 2nd winds. Everything else in this fight is "unlucky".
I'm thinking of buying this game, I loved the first game and just playing split screen with friends, if it's as good as that then I see no reason not to get it
I'm not the biggest fan of Borderlands overall (my friend is), but I'm enjoying the third installment of the series greatly. The characters are more interesting than in the second game, it has tons of fun references to the previous games, tons of old beloved characters, and mayhem all around. Me and my friend are doing a duo run (with me as Fl4k and him as Moze), but he also started individual campaigns with the other characters. I too have a low-level siren and operative. There've been a lot of quality of life changes (second win seems easier to achieve and we can't "steal" it from each other; you can hold onto ledges and climb up etc.)
Overall, it's fun and it feels a lot more polished.
I beat the story the other day finally and go to lvl 50. Work schedule made it difficult to play a lot. Playing True Vault Hunter mode now.
Played through the 1st round NVHM with the Operative (luckily I found an infinity and looted a hive from Tarantella. Those 2 got me through the 3rd quarter of the game). I'm now trying the melee Siren. She is also fun to play, but Zane's comments during fights are funnier IMO.
I also love the mounting and sliding, as it makes the gameplay more dynamic. And tossing barrels into groups of enemies is just pure joy.
I can never get tired of Zane's accent.
I just got through the Billy boss fight. And I have to admit that boss fight was a pain to get through.
I got through the Graveward boss a couple of days ago and man, not a good fit for a meele Amara.
I didn't die but it easily took me some solid 20 minutes of shooting that prick.
The only boss that I felt was somewhat annoying was Katagawa ball.
