Speaking of bikes, I'm hoping to get mine out soon. Just need to have it inspected, maybe oiled and have the tires aired since I haven't ridden it since last fall.
Yesterday, I ordered One Piece Collection 1-4 DVDs, plus Film Z. Bought them used since I don't feel up to paying extra for brand new ones. Hope they come with the paper slip covers. If not, oh well.
Since March, I've been waiting to get a call for an English teaching position in Japan. The wait is torture, but fingers crossed.

If you mean the IRC web chat, unfortunately it's pretty much a graveyard in there right now. Most folks have migrated over to an AP Discord server, but even there you'll find very little active chatting these days. But if you're interested:

I started my second semester of college, it's been a bit stressful. All my classes seem easy except Marketing because there are a lot of quizzes, and it's all essay questions. Regardless, getting all As so far, I think I put too much pressure on myself because I want to keep my 4.0 GPA so I get get a scholarship easier for going to study abroad in Japan. Plus, I know it look good on my resume. As for today and the weekend, just lots of studying, so it be easier for the rest of the week.

Me and the family celebrated my grandmother's 88th birthday today by going to Bonefish Grill for dinner. I had Maryland crab cakes for the appetizer and had Alaskan fish and chips.

People who powerwank who is stronger created their own forum, the general section purged all dissent, all entertaining shitstirrers left to attend to their lives/careers/outside world and lots of people just got into akward and/or creepy social situations and stopped coming. And others just sit and observe and never post for whatever reasons people choose to do so. It's getting hard to get a conversation going with the lack of enthusiasm going on around here, hence the quiet two posts a day sections with occasional bursts of giving a fuck and showing a semblance of life.

I slip here and there in here mostly throw myself in to get the latest chapter I'll be honest.
Life has been hectic to the point I can't remember the last time I was properly 'active' here.
I think I got a Bachelors AND a Masters Arts in the time I've been sporadic?
I'll probably STILL be kinda sporadic/just to the manga section.

Felt like I wanted to share this out of happy it made me.
On September 3 ,I placed this one order on Amazon, specifically, The Alchemist(Spanish Edition), hard cover book.
two days later I got a massage on my Email, that only said "Package was damaged, it will not be sent", and did not tell me anything else at all, nothing to do, no info on my money or replacements, I just leave it like that a full day to see if Amazon would eventually tell me what to do next. Nothing, I got a bit anxious and so I searched for the customer service, for which I found a chat room that was quite hard to find. So I told this guy about this issue, and after asking me for the order number, he told me; "I could give you a refund, or a replacement, whatever you want", and since I really wanted this book(cause it was a gift for a friend of mine), and said edition is not found here in Mexico, I asked for a replacement, and let him know that I was a bit worried it would take even longer now, for which he told me he was going to send it with high priority(yo' know, the expensive way of getting things from Amazon), but with no extra charge. And so he did, I got a message from Amazon telling me, I got a replacement and it would arrive within 4-5 days(it did in 4 btw), and so everything went smoothly up to that point, I got the book even sooner, without extra-payments and everyone was happy.
Everything cool until yesterday, I was literally doing nothing on my laptop, and suddenly got an Email saying "your money for said order have been refunded", and I honestly thought, uggh spam. so I paid no mind, today that I got paid and had the chance to check my accound on an atm, there was this extra amount and I went uh? I worked no extra hours this week, so whatever, came back home, actually checked that Email I got the previous day and yup, for some reason Amazon did refund the money I paid for the book.
it seems something around $2 or $2.50 dollars went down on bank transfers from the original $21 I paid, but jeez, that's so far the cheapest thing I ever got from Amazon.
I don't know how oftenly this would happen, but I do feel like Amazon had a glitch, a beneficial one.

My days been pretty bad today, literally been discriminated (denied a job) because of being Australian, in Australia (funny that). Although this was done very indirectly and it was so obvious.
I have done law subjects on this in University regarding employment law etc. so I am familiar with the law and the rights that people have.
Would it be really worth suing for since I don't have the money? Although I could get the defendants to pay it.As for the damages, I assume that I would be able to get X amount of pay as compensation for what I should have been paid if I had been employed fairly for a certain period.

I had a great Christmas. I recieved A World of Ice and Fire and a laptop tablet. After that, I went to my grandmother's house for our annual gift exchange with other family members.

By complete chance, I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a few years when getting on the plane to go home after visiting family for Christmas. We didn't have a ton of time to catch up, but it was still a really pleasant surprise.

Today was tough. Me and my mother took one of our cats to the vet today. She had been showing signs of allergies and upper respiratory infection. After running a CT scan, they told us that she has a tumor in her gums in the top left of her mouth, and it's now grown and metastasized in her gums, jawbone, and nasal passage. We're going to make what time she has left as comfortable as possible.

My cardiologist appointment was cancelled today due to virus fears so apparently I'm supposed to just suffer and hope I don't have a heart attack before this crap is over. Have no clue what to do at this point, I need help with my health. Only option would be to go to the ER room at a hospital but I'm not in an emergency state just constant pain anymore. Waited a month just to have them cancel it. Life sure can be rough, I understand the whole virus issue but they can't just toss people with other issues aside.

I'm an essential worker at the moment. I start everyday with a face mask, a bottle of sanitizer in my pocket, two pairs of gloves, and basically my entire store has their staff located in one area near the only open entrance. We're only letting 50-ish people in at a time, but they still come in waves so it's chaotic.
I think we've been doing okay, but apparently two people in the store have caught COVID so far, at least one of them from last week. They won't tell us who, for privacy I guess, but it's made me a bit more paranoid about this whole thing.

A pretty good day today besides sleeping too much, but I started playing Final Fantasy XIV, and now currently heating up my charcoals for my little grill. I really learned how to use it right, so it makes me happy. I plan on investing in the future for a better quality one. And that has been pretty much my day today.

So, I was out doing some errands, and as I got close to home, I saw a dude passed out on the sidewalk close to my home. I stopped (thankfully, another car did, too), and poor guy was homeless and had heat exhaustion (it's about 104 *F out now). Thankfully, we had water, and he was responsive, and we got 911 called, and the other car offered to stay with him. So, he'll be all right.
My issue is when I first saw him, a patrol car was behind me, and I KNOW he saw the dude, but didn't do anything, and just drove on by. And I also know it was because the dude was black.
Fucking cops, man.

My day was alright. I finally did get my midterms minus one class since that one is a 14 week class, so I get that grade next week. But I got all As on the ones I did, so honestly I'm doing pretty good, just need to keep this up.

Bleh, some people across the street were blasting their music and it's late at night, midnight currently. Playing since 11:00PMish, I was hoping they stop playing and it be short, but eventually had to call the cops to shut them up. I didn't want to do this, but bleh I trying to sleep and trying to hear music being blasted and clearly hearing the music being audible from my bedroom was very annoying. I already have a PTSD trigger to loud noises, and this doesn't help. Though now I'm wide awake for some reason, even though the cop came and the music stopped, I can't sleep. This shall be a fun night… and I need to wake up in the morning for class. x.x
