Okay, so it seems like the Blue stream has been insanely more productive in a far smaller period of time.
Granted, i only see about 500 people there right now. Less trolls and spam.
They also have a progress screen right under the input list, so that's pretty neat.Blue stream has 4 badges, and a team of blastoise, pidgey, bellsprout, diglett and nidoran.
Almost 69 hours played. Just under 3 days. -

How anyone makes any progress here is beyond me. With the 20-40 second delay in stream lag, you have to think 40 seconds ahead as to what would have already happened.
It's pretty hilarious seeing things like TwitchPlaysPokemonePlaysTetris on the side, though.

At least Silph only involves transporters that are spaced apart.
The problem with the spin maze is that everything's so close together that it just takes one fuck up to basically snowball back to the beginning.

The idiots running that thing should just swallow their pride and admit that introducing even the possibility of having a democractic decision-making system was a massive mistake that detracts from what the original aim of the entire stream was about. Democracy will make the rest of the game unbearably slow and uneventful (no more Helix Fossil, Abby, False Prophet shenanigans, Ledges, Mazes, wild rejoicing after a successful heal etc.), and the current situation is even worse than having the democratic system fully implemented.
I keep watching just because I'm still hoping they will realize their mistakes (and because the start9 rioting was hilarious), but it's getting close to the point where it just dies.

I can understand them implementing some temporary measures if the players are REALLY stuck on the game. But permanently? Yeah, no, c'mon guys.
BTW, I can't watch the stream at work, so I'm not fully aware of what's going on.

They never even were permanently stuck anywhere. Not once. They came within one correct command of beating the maze at least three times during the time I was watching it, and that was one hour into the maze adventures.
And the problem with having the Democracy system there as a get-out-of-jail measure is that whenever something will get even the slightest bit challenging, people will immediately start screaming democracy, completely ruining what was fun about the game to begin with. Yeah, faster progress, cool. But it's nowhere as rewarding and fun if it isn't achieved together after a long struggle. :/
