At the moment I'm still placing my money on Zoro holding off Pica while Luffy and Violet go on to confront Doffy. I can just imagine the image of when it cuts back to their situation to show Zoro holding back those two stone walls that Pica tried to crush them with using his swords. THe idea of Zoro fighting against what is essentially an entire building is really cool to me. Plus Luffy is probably going to need to save as much stamina as he can for when he fights 'Mingo; both Smoker and Law were pretty tired out when they faced him so Luffy should make sure to bring his A-game.

Is it even possible to go on without defeating Pica? Seeing as he is the castle and all at the moment, I don't think Luffy and Zoro will be getting past him until he's down and out.
-
Exactly, he would live, because Pell lived, ahahahah this is this forums logic sometimes
You mean every single character other than Ace and Whitebeard.

How about 2 vs 2? Luffy + Zoro vs DD + Pica. And not just the conventional one on one fight, as in Luffy and Zoro will have to do some combo attacks.

Now that would be something new and interesting. Now I'm wishing that's what happens.

Many people have actually died in one piece.
The manga starts with a guys decapitation.:ninja:

I was under the impression that he could merge with the palace but that required him to insert his arms/legs into the wall so he could control it. This led me to believe that Pica's range of attack is limited to the walls he is touching, so I doubt he could control the Palace walls on say the 4th floor when he still on level B-1 as the movement of the palace walls would be sourced from his arms/legs.

I guess that all depends on Pica's range, which we'll most likely find out in the next chapter or two. My interpretation of his powers was that he could control the stone that part of his body is currently fused with, so while that still gives him control of the castle, it only lets him control a certain portion of it at a time. That's why I was thinking that Zoro could hold him off and eventually defeat him so that Luffy can just focus on getting to Doffy and rescuing Law.
At the same time, his range could very well be massive and Zoro and Luffy would have to combine their efforts for a moment in order to defeat him. I'd be fine with either outcome, though I prefer Zoro fighting him solo.

That would be kind of lame though if he can only control like one room.
-

That reminded me of how they went through the Aqua Laguna in Water 7. Awesome indeed.
-
Pell's law dictates that everyone you just presume is dead is actually alive and well.
Probably got themselves a family and redeemed himself along the way too.
-

If he is the cAstle himself how the fuck are you gonna fight him? Only superior last stage logias where shown to deal with such a devAstating and wide attack ranges.
-
Something I'm kind of curious about is exactly what kind of role that Baby 5 and Buffalo will play in this arc, if any at all. They technically already faced their defeat back in Punk Hazard, but obviously some time has passed since then; given that Baby 5 looks just fine I'm assuming Buffalo is as well, too. I get the feeling that Baby 5 and Gladius will team up for something since they've been shown together, but Buffalo hasn't been seen at all.
I know this is all random speculating but at the same time I'm looking forward to seeing exactly how the Donquixote Family meets their demise. I can't remember a time when the Straw Hats were up against this many antagonists before, and that's not even mentioning the fact that half of their crew is currently MIA.

Kinda hard with so many characters around, even tought it may take months for us to see a character, the strawhats landed to dressrosa no longer then 5 houres ago…

Wouldn't he be easier to take down? He's essentially a massive target that you can't miss as long as you attack. Reminds me of when Moria became massive.

Anyone know if chapter 738 will be released any time this year?

I really like the idea of this, but this would really downgrade people's view on Sanji. He is actually very strong (probably equal in strength to Zoro). If this does happen inb4 sanji so weak, cant do shit

well, just quotting because this is my doubt indeed about Baaby5 and also about the entirely donquixote family as well. Thinking in a way that they are subordinates of Doflamingo they are expected to be strong and the SH are without the "Sunny Group" by now that includes Sanji. It's not a good situation anyway.

Probably tomorrow, a Wednesday, like always.

I can accept even Pell or Gan Fall somehow living. Vergo is the most acceptable to be alive in the "should have died" club since he could presumably use his full CoA to protect himself from the blast. But we literally saw Monet's heart get pierced, if she is alive I will be beyond disappointed.

yes i agree people need to stay dead in this manga. Its a manga based on the rise of a pirate, do you think people who lived as harshly as luffy has will be merciful to their enemies we need an adult version of this manga, it doesn't satisfy my blood thirst

Oda loves his characters. He doesn't like to see them go to waste. he has attachment issues I think. Understandable, almost every character is completely unique.

I was under the impression that since the stab was so shallow by Caesar it only penetrated the flesh surrounding the heart, as when Law cuts the heart out of a person, a whole 'block of flesh' is missing from their chest. It appeared to me that what bled was the flesh not the heart as the strike didn't pierce deep enough to hit the heart =/. This panel here shows that the ‘block of flesh’ isn't releasing blood anymore and that from the lack of blood coating the weapon used by Caesar shown, the stab is implied not to be very deep.
The resulting force from Caesar forcing his hand down onto the ‘block of flesh’ likely caused an impact on the heart of Monet’s which resulted in knocking her out and Monet’s weakened state could have attributed to her coughing up blood. Law was knocked out (and coughed up blood) when Caesar applied force to his heart when he was “caught” so Monet getting knocked unconscious because of the force applied as opposed to her heart being penetrated doesn’t seem that unlikely.
The fact that Oda left the "heart-stabbing" on such an ambiguous note has me curious as to why Oda didn't just have Caesar pierce Monet's heart completely with the weapon Caesar had used =/.

Imagine if this manga was written by george RR martin instead, you wouldnt know who could die next chapter, the excitement and the thrill would feel real, right now one piece is a children's fantasy world (shounen) but since im past that age now I need more reality, not stupid shit like Pell surviving an explosion and get zapped by lightning and all you get is black bull shit on ur skin.
-
People can't really believe Sanji and co are going to be off screen for the rest of the arc/year can they? They will return to Dressrosa, definitely, whether that means they bring back the Heart pirates or they return after losing Ceasar to the BM pirates or something else entirely. Just because Franky has started fighting doesnt mean the Straw Hats are all getting 1v1 fights in the coming chapters.
-
One Piece needs to be more like Bleach.
-
To be even more blunt, Luffy and the rest of the SH's can't leave Dressrosa without the Sunny. If I were to guess i would say the Sunny never makes it to Zou, since the Heart pirates aren't exactly needed between the SH's, revolutionaries, dwarves, and collisseum competitors.
-
Why not? Luffy can just carry every on his back and swim to Zou.
-

But didn't Oda pair Sanji with Jimbei in FI? Does that mean that he's on Jimbei's level? I don't really believe the idea of downgrade for him but yeah , I can imagine some arguing that if that happened.

One Piece needs to be more like Bleach.
I really hope this is a joke, Bleach is a monstrosity and one of the worst mangas around, unless you stop after soul society, then you save yourself the terror of seeing a good series go to decent to eh and then finally become a burning train wreck of awfulness
why would you ever want one piece to be a series that has zero logic, zero emotion, retcons itself constantly, has no rhyme or reason and is just god awful in every sense of the term
-
when isss 738?
..
also one piece is a thousand times better than bleach. Oda sensei is a god -

Bleach is not too bad, except for one thing : http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ExplainingYourPowerToTheEnemy Every single character of Bleach do that.

can't wait anymore!!!

In art, yeah maybe. But in general, One Piece does not need to be any manga. It's great on its own.
