I just have to take this idea out of my head. Where is Kanjuro in all this? The chances are either that he´s a toy and maybe we have seen him already and have been trolled all along. "That monkey bartender toy comes into mind" or maybe he is Pica. As Strange as it may sound there must be a reason behind us not knowing pica´s face. Its just weird that we see Diamante clearly, trebol in his shades and then Pica is shown as a hulk type man with a helm that shadows his face so we cannot see a thing.

But then again ODA could just show us another cell with him behind bars next chapter. Now that I think about it Kinemon still remembers Kanjuro so he should not be a toy… so where the hell is this guy... I wanna see Picas face. I´m getting this weird vibe that it may be Kinemon vs Pica (Kanjuro)... it could be interesting

That's enough though, she doesn't need the Mera Mera, and if she were to get it, that's the end of it as a plot device.

She only wants it in the first place to defeat Doflamingo, and by the end of this arc that need will no longer exist, she wouldn't need it anymore.

So I doubt Oda will waste it on her.

She's obviously not going to get it because she needs to be full of despair until she realizes that Luffy destroys Mingo and then all is well. Sabo or Jesus will be getting that fruit. If not, its going to be some outside entity that just steals it.

I call that but I was referring to the other Samurai and Kanjura isn't a toy because Kinemon remembers him which is pretty weird.

Of course it wasn't all about her at the beginning. But after we knew about her status and Dressrosa's situation/history, and all the flashback, then it's all about her. Rebecca is not Fairy Tail's Lissana.
Other factor were just a minor element that may have related with this arc/Dressrosa or not.

I don't know why Oda kept her in the tournament since as of now nothing will change, the memories returned but that will just bring chaos the citizens won't forget what Riku did and start cheering for her all of a sudden, will they? This is Oda, so If he let her stay he have his reasons

But we don't know how and when that will happen or what kind of situation when that happen.

Well given that Rebecca all deal is not taking damage, taking her enemies out of balance(tiring them first if needed) and throwing them out of the ring, then Burgess is the perfect foe for her.
Is the basic and frequent suspense of: Will the enemy with only strength land a hit and end the fight or will the fast and agile person find an opening and land a decisive attack?

I know it's kind of a joke post, but we know rebecca isn't THAT fast and agile, that was the whole point of her getting hit. That's one of the reasons why I liked it, too. Balance. It's pretty obvious she's strong-willed and skilled, but has her limits and probably won't win against the other finalists, but could probably last against them for a while.

Actually it would have happen anyways, even without Sanji interfering since Violet saw an opening, like Gladius said she could have seen their location yesterday but she didn't say anything probably hoping for this outcome and If she were to go against other Strawhat she would have been beaten.

He's always the one who does stuff in the background but never gets the real credit for having messed up the enemy. Mr. Prince, sabotaging Enel's ship, closing the gates at Enies Lobby and causing marine battleships to crash…

plot twist. Rebecca beats Kaido, he attacks and she evades due to her super duper speed & CoO and then makes Kaido fall to the ground without hitting him and defeat him. It's official.

Treating Burgess as if he is Marco equal, just because they have the same title, doesn't make much sense! Given that it was two different people and "institutions" that gave them the positions.

• Kizaru, an Admiral, couldn't beat the first commander of a Younkou but Garp a vice admiral could.
• Kizaru fought normally against Marco, but put his hands in the air when Beckham, Shanks first mate, threaten him.

We don't really know anything about Burgess overall power and the reason why Blackbeard give him the title of first commander, and if Blackbeard even knows how to give titles(Certainly he didn't knew how to grade his enemies: Magellan and Whitebeard defeat).
We only know that Burgess his physically strong and that last time we saw him fight, he couldn't handle Ace.

More, we know that fights in One Piece aren't only power-levels where you give a number of power to the characters and compare them and you have your result, but is more complex.

I'm not even saying that she will win against Burgess, but that of all the other contenders he seems right now the most probable for her to win, if she ever wins against anybody.

Barto - Defensive barriers, he basically doesn't move nor attack his enemies. Rebecca normally try to finds her enemies openings and use it, but Barto show openings just to use his abilities and counter his opponents.
Sabo - We don't know nothing about Sabo, so guessing the compatibility of him against her is impossible.
Diamante - We don't know nothing about him either, except that he is one of the long leg tribe, just like Tamago. Impossible to guess too.
Burguess - Wrestler that uses his strength to take his enemies to submission, as seen in Jaya, Against Ace and in the first block where everybody was beaten to a pulp(unless he made a weird special attack that we don't know, it was brute force). He is a very offensive person and we don't have any indication that he is fast. So we can take that he will try to attack her and keep trying(wasn't he shown to be simple minded and straight forward person? At least at Jaya and against Ace it was the impression that he gave me) and that she will be able to normally dodge every of his attacks. As I said in the other post, if they fight it be in suspension if he can land a hit or if she can find a good opening. Don't forget that in this tournament you just need to throw the opponent out of the ring.

Of course she doesent stand a chance if its about life and death, but thats the point of the rules.
I personally dont think that she can win the whole thing by herself but it isnt out of question that Burgess could lose his footing or sth.

The reason Burgess is 1st Division Commander is he is the only fighter in BB's four people core. I don't know how strong he will be at the end of the series but I think right now Shiliew could give him a run for his money. I would say Diamante and Burgess is at the same level as a fighter. That makes Burgess strong but he isn't such a beast that would succeed beating Luffy or Sabo. Considering Sabo is as strong as Luffy if still not stronger.

she didn't avoid Hakuba's atack at all, and after being punched in the face felt almost unconscious while the one who did everything advantageously for her felt asleep and did't wake up until Gatz declare Becca as the offical winner, her victory can't be more forced than that.

and Luffy always use his gum gum power to destroy buildings, even in Arlong Park uses his fruit. when he loses his power he bleed pretty much easy.

she reacted to the attack and moved so that the attack would hit her on the helm,the part that was protected,instead than on thebody like with everybody else.

sleeping is the condition for hakuba to come out,you say you can't count a character without his fruit,but at the same way you can ignore the fact that him felling asleep was part of the power

for luffy,look back at water 7,when he is stuck between two buildings and just destroy them both without his fruit to free himself.
