I actually translated everything so I don't know if they'll just use those scans or just use my translations.
Last I heard the last chapter they released was Bo-bobo vs. Don Patch in Evil Blood Mansion. Dunno yet if the arc is finished, considering that we don't have much longer until the story gets really good.

I won't be uploading anymore Bobobo episodes since I have lost my DVD program ripper and i don't like the new YT layout sorry but unless someone can suggest me a better DVD ripper and they change the YT layout I think about uploading 5-8.
I honestly hope that, once the third volume is released this upcoming February, we get some sort of speed-up for Bo-bobo. Three volumes in three years is far too slow of a rate to release a series this funny at.
in Australia the manga came out for about a week and I only got to pick up volume 2. Luckily my trip to Japan helped me get the character profile edition of the manga which is amazing.

It was actually a neat crossover: Sawai was a huge fan of Kazuki Takahashi before starting Bo-bobo and the two of them worked together to pull this. Of course what I loved more: not just that Yugi/Atem summoned Osiris as drawn by Takahashi…but that Osiris was drawn by Sawai...and Beauty complains about how horrible it looks.
Bobobo-Bo Bo-bobo is probably the second best comedy manga I have ever read and the most random manga ever. And it entertains the hell out of me.

Mediocrity is just doing the scanslations, I finished the scripts for the original over a year ago by now. (and just haven't had the time, patience/whatever to get back to Shinsetsu)
I was going to do some of the scanlations but I decided to leave that to people who already know what there doing.

The problem with Shinsetsu is that not all the volumes were scanned in. A couple were but were never put on MH and the rest never were scanned in volume form and ended up merely being released as chapters. If I had actual good quality scans for the whole series, it would be easier to get it done…or if I wasn't so busy with all my other works.

Got Viz volume 3 today. The DBZ reference in the final chapter made me laugh.

Wiggin Specialist was a pretty good way to "translate" the term, but I guess Viz doesn't really care. I'm just wondering if the Viz-only fans will put two and two together with the show. I doubt it, since I think Toei owned the rights to the dub so they could just give it to someone to distribute.
Also where does it say it will be uncut? I know the sub should be, but I'm not even sure if they made an uncut dub.

Same, it was realy a bad idea for them to start halfway through the series. But I remember at a con they said the reason they did so was because of the "content" of the earlier volumes. Which I'm sure they could have just edited to meet their censorship standards.
But I'm so happy that I'll (and we'll) finally be able to own this series, uncut, in it's entirety. The first set covers a lot actally, it ends with the gang getting separated in Hallelujah Land theme park (which if I remember correctly is called "Holy Guacamole Land" in the dub lol). Which is around the end of Volume 9 of the manga.
I just preordered my copy of Part 1 today! So excited! I can't wait to watch it ^_^ Anyone else preorder too?
