Actually, i think the one clinging to the dragon's tail is sanji, while zoro is in fact cutting the iron door… right next to the panda icon, making it possible for brownbeard to push it open after being cut from both sides.

law's power though don't cut through sharpness or strenght,he just "operate" on the things inside the room,so it doesn't matter if a thing is hard or not,he can still cut it..he doesn't need haki
Is anyone else really surprised Luffy already knew about Franky's laser? Oda went times with Luffy not seeing it, I thought for sure he was setting up something. I suppose after the events of Fishman Island they all got to talking during the down time.
What a great chapter! Love me some Jinbe, I would love if the story followed him into the new world but I'm guessing at most we will get a cover showing his departure and nothing more.

the first mate is the person who organizes the life on the ship..he controls supplies,check how things works on the ship..the strawhat who has a role pretty much similiar to a first mate is nami..
a "right hand" is not a nautical term,and it can basically means anything,from "second-in-command" to "the most reliable subordinate"

As one of those very patient guild leaders who has quite of crazy folk's in his guild your comments Demonicpoodle and Aohige literally made me laugh so hard I'm crying. Such an accurate description of those characters.
You could also add:
Luffy = That guy who gets distracted every time something shiny or epic pops up and distracts him. Also known for going AFK at random times.
Smoker = That guy from a former elitest guild who plays with you now because he thinks he wants to be more social but he still is in that other mindset.
I'm sure there are tons of hilarious comparisons that could be made like this.
On topic, amazing chapter. After that lengthy break coming back to a fully packed chapter like this was such a great treat. Only problem now is waiting the longer duration to the next chapter. Oh well!

The Post EL moment where Zoro said everyone has to respect the captain? That's like one of his most defining and awesome moments because Ussop was expecting to welcomed back just like that after he had started the whole thing.
The whole TB mess was a Zoro-only moment of putting aside his pride, great character development. Yes, Sanji stepped in, but it ended up being a Zoro only moment, sorry. How the hell can you be too fascinated by a character?
The thing at Sabaody was that no one would believe Zoro worked under someone. I remember someone remarking that he was the first mate, but I'm gonna give you this one because I don't feel like skimming through the chapters right now.

You're kidding, right? Do you even know what a first mate is supposed to be like? To know the captain best, to support him, go along with his plans and take the consequences. Zoro was the first crewmember and has been along the whole journey, he knows what Luffy is like the best and he knows that there is no point in objecting when captain's made up his mind. Besides, Zoro always steps up when Luffy is out of the picture. Arguing that Sanji or someone else is the first mate is just ridiculous. Zoro's title isn't first mate, but fans of the series will regard him as it

This chapter leaves me to wonder where each character will do in the finale. We have the entire Strawhat crew, Kinnemon, Smoker, Tashigi, and Law here. Meanwhile there's three enemies, the children, and the slime monster. How will these responsibilities be divided?

I want Luffy to go 1 on 1 with someone, but at this point it looks the enemy is going to get over whelmed. I would absolutely love for Zoro and Sanji to double team Vergo, but it appears he is Law's priority. As long as each Straw Hat can have even a half way meaningful exchange with Caeser, Vergo or Monet I will be happy. If there are living giants being held captive or other mutations great, then everyone gets some!

Nami can blow it away or Franky can blow the gas up if its flamable.
Law could most likely teleport the gas away as well because remember the gas is not alive anymore because it is not being controlled by the devil fruit.
FRANKY COULD JUST BLOCK OFF THE HOLE IN THE DOOR BECAUSE IF YOU READ/WATCHED THRILLER BARK YOU WOULD KNOW HE IS A INSANELY FAST BUILDER!
Nami and Franky can blow it away with their wind attacks. Possibly Sunny as well. Blowing up that much gas would be a horrible idea.
