Mocha for nakama. She is helping the SH, she can have a dream, she is big and strong. Of course she doesn't fit through doors, but that's a common problem.
I'd be willing to roll with this and drive it to the ground.
Mocha is already living her sad past - being a cracked out child-turned-big who was kidnapped and forced to live in a freaky facility that gives off Area 51 vibes. Her dream of course is obvious: she wants to help others overcome their drug addictions. She'll travel island to island, meeting meth heads and putting together short-term support groups who will aid the Straw Hats. Not every single pirate crew member in the series is shown to have combat abilities. She'll make due with being big - a bruiser character. That will be enough for her, though, of course she can get some sort of weapon before leaving. And then there's her role in the crew - she could do a few. Cabin girl? She'd be perfectly capable of that even at her age. Helmsman? Pretty much everyone on the crew can do it, no reason she can't. Lookout? Sure, why not. Things are going swimmingly with her, aren't they? Now then, she will be the designated younger daughter of the family. Colors? We don't even know her color scheme, and it's not like it matters since Sanji's is blue and he rarely wears blue. Animal is dumb too, cause Brook's is a freaking horse. Really, those things are wild calls. She might not be able to fit through the doors, but that comes into play when Franky shows up with the ship and a cannon ball blasts a big hole through a room. This will be her room. The big hole will give birth to a big door.
Mocha for newmate.
Every character introduced so far 4 Nakama. :ninja:
It's obvious that Smiley is a new crewmate - his color is Viole, his animal is axolotl. His tragic past is that he keeps getting killed by CC (this will bond him with Brook yohohoho). I am not sure about his dream but it could be something with having human friends.
Smiley for nakama. :ninja:
Anyone else think that in the final panel of the Strawhats in the manga we'll also have Pandaman?:ninja:

Mocha for newmate.
One problem: Mocha's a child. Wouldn't that look bad on the crews part on letting a child go on a dangerous adventure into the New World? Practically all of the crew would be against it.
Though when this arc is done, this does leave a very good question: What's gonna happen to the kids when they beat Caeser and his henchmen? Who's gonna take them home?

They're fucking pirates. They couldn't care less about looking bad.
Also, Smoker and the G-5 Marines for your 2nd question.

Or maybe it should be the dragon that Zoro killed.

Pshhh, we just saw Doflamingo with a kindergartner. Mocha could be her opponent. Besides, Chimney was at Enies Lobby with a bunch of assassins and explosions and she was able to take care of herself. Mocha has this in the bag.
The rest of the kids will prolly be taken home via the Marines somehow. I think. Is there even a ship there besides the Sunny or did they all get wrecked at this point? Or the dragon could fly them home or something. Or they could all become dragons and fly home themselves. Yeah. Dragon children. Though I'm sure the Sunny is big enough to carry them all if that's really the only option.
Who I want: Monet because I want a third female to help balance the crew
What will probably happen: No idea since Oda threw the biggest curveball with Jinbe turning Luffy down.

I can understand the notion to want another female in the crew but to want someone in the crew who drugs children and has a sadistic attitude is somehow inexplicable.

co-sign. monet is obviously evil now. no way luffy will even like him.

Did I miss something? When was Monet shown to be sadistic? If anything she feels like the opposite and is very practical and efficient about doing her job. I think her laughing at Law's pain was more of a "haha you thought you were gonna trick us" then actual sadism.
Though yeah, Monet is out barring something really dramatic happening. She's thwarted the Straw Hearts three separate times now, and if she had some secret personal agenda Oda probably would have hinted at it by now. Its a shame though, she's my favorite character post-TS so far.
It is not only the incident with Law, when CC mentioned that Luffy & co being part of the experiment she had that heinous smile, in the recent chapter when she teills Mocha to share the candy and so on. Obviously her character is not as sadistic as CC but you can still see it.

monet was inciting mocha to share the drugged candy to the children…drugging children and keeping up with it is evil imo...she almost looks like nami and her recruitment angle (if ever) is similar to robin...
correct me if im wrong, but i remember reading something that "there would be no winged/flying nakama" as oda said (again, correct me if im wrong) since sanji learned sky walk...well of course, maybe its an exception if its a logia since logias (most of them) fly.
What will probably happen: No idea since Oda threw the biggest curveball with Jinbe turning Luffy down.
i thought he accepted?? but said "be right back gotta do something first" (to paraphrase)
@Chopper:
i thought he accepted?? but said "be right back gotta do something first" (to paraphrase)
yep. pretty much confirmed…all that's left is to get rid of jinbei's problem which is him and fishman pirates affiliation with big mom...guess luffy will have to defeat (or befriend) big mom to let jinbe out of it.

She has also mentioned Caesar has "atrocious taste" in ch. 671. Law said practically the same thing when Caesar got done explaining to him about the candy in ch. 666. She might just be referring to the fight Caesar was in, or maybe she meant she also thinks its messed up giving the kids candy. You're right though, offering Mocha and the others the candy doesn't make it look that way now though.

I think I have a different idea of "Sadistic" than you do. To me it usually involve torture of some kind, and doing terrible things to other people because it makes you feel good (i.e. Sadi). Monet just seems to be confident in her own evilness/intelligence, and with the candy its more likely that she knows that the kids need to be drugged up for them to help her fight the SH (which is where i think she's going with that).
Its not that she's sadistic, she's just evil and intelligent. She's not drugging the kids up because she thinks its funny, but rather because it helps her goals. Still pretty creepy though.
To me, sadistic is to enjoy the demise of others. She enjoys Law being pounded, she enjoys the children getting addicted (in this chapter), she enjoys how Luffy falls aspleep …
luffy actually hints at the person he likes and likes to be an ally…he never said anything good to monet, im fine with people speculating about kinemon, since he actually invited him (his lower half LOL)
most of the time, luffy says things like "hey, i like you" or "ive decided, im gonna make you join me" or "youre not a bad person" or "youre my friend" before he invites them.
ok, dont go sarcastic on me, of course not everyone he told that lines joined, im just saying luffy havent said a good thing about monet and that's one quick argument i think why she cant join.
Being think about this:can Jinbe imporve? Like in fighting style, because he like Ivankov is a master in his fighting style, no is better than him, no is foreshadowed to be better than him seeing as how he was foreshadowed to be better than Arlong. No in the crew is the best in the world at anything which is why we have the story we have. One Piece has never been about being someone its been about becoming someone. So if Jinbe is the best at his fighthing style in the world and has a large name for himself already what is there left to become?

He needs to lose some weight.
He needs to lose some weight.
No his design as a fishman is fine even though he looks nothing like a whale shark. Its easy to say "WELL OF COURSE HE CAN IMPROVE, WHAT ARE YA, A DUMMY? But serious think about it, how can he a master of his style and lengend, improve by traveling around with a crew of slighty polished pirates?

While he may have mastered Fishman Karate, he could still develop his own, more individualized fighting style to add on to it. You know, push the envelope and come up with techniques that no one has ever thought of before relating to Fishman Karate. Just because he's the best at using Fishman Karate doesn't mean he still can't improve himself.

That's a strange argument, because a lot of the SH's fighting styles are completely unique.
Technically speaking, Nami is the best Clima-Tact fighter in the entire world, LOL.

She's not the most skilled weather manipulator in the world. Luffy isn't the strongest captain, haki user, or mixed fighter in the world, Robin isn't the smartest, Brook isn't the best musician, Franky isn't the most technologically advanced, Sanji isn't the strongest martial artist, Chopper isn't the best doctor no the strongest monster, Ussop isn't the best sniper, and Zoro isn't the best swordsmen.
Jinbe is the strongest Fishman we've seen and is the most masterful Fishman karate and Fishamn Justu user we've seen. You could say could say he isn't the best strategist or helmsmen but those are really fanon and weren't the focus of Jinbe's character, teed-bits, nice ones too, but not the focus.

Stronger than Namur of the Whitebeards? O_o
I agree that Jinbe is a master of his style
but I have no doubt that he can improve his Fishman Karate.
Karate has many different forms itself.
we've seen Jinbe punch and kick at most
and since Oda is the type to dash abit of realism
in his material I assume he'd apply this to Jinbe's character.
Plus the water manipulation as a bonus unknown ,like Brooks DF ability
there's alot of creative room for just how more developed his strength can become.
If he joins of course.

Namur really hasn't done anything. He's strong, but there's no indication that he's stronger than Jinbe in any aspect. There's no one in the manga that is more masterful at using Fishman karate or Jujutsu than Jinbe.

IMO on this part of the series they are no longer a team of "slightly polished pirates" they are well known pirates in the way that when they beat Big Mom's ass the Strawhat's mark will be enough to protect the fishman island, so from that point of view an ex-shishibukai becoming part of that crew means that the captain as reached an high "rank" in the One Piece world…
So I think that for now on the major aspect will be the SH being able to fulfill their dreams instead of growing up like in the first part (not saying their wont grow up of course they will surpass their limits in every fight, but that's just not that relevant) it's more relevant the fact that an ex-shishibukai accepts Luffy as his captain. (supposing jinbe will join of course)
We do get to shit on people who refuse to believe jinbei will once he finally does right?

I'm not one to gloat. But gosh I sure hope so xD
Thinking Jinbe can't improve is as laughable as thinking Croc or Lucci won't improve when we see them next. He may be the best known Fishman Karate fighter but that really means nothing as far as the rest of the world is concerned.
What will Jinbe's "dream" be? Make humans and fishmen live harmoniously? He's gotta have a dream.

exactly what im thinking…strawhats are known for their dreams and tragic pasts...that's the main criteria for a strawhat, plus if luffy likes him/her.
being an expert on whatever is never a criteria, but if we notice, all strawhats got something they are superb at....sanji - cooking, nami - navigating etc.
What will Jinbe's "dream" be? Make humans and fishmen live harmoniously? He's gotta have a dream.
That's still a mystery, though if we take into account everything he has said and done we can make educated guesses about civil rights and such. Who knows though, his mystery dream is super exciting for me.

1. fulfill ace's wish to protect luffy.
2. fulfill otohime and fisher tiger's wish to erase racism
3. bring the fishman back to real sunlight.
bonney will be the last to join. bonney joining has been my main prediction since she appeared for the first time and i will continue making that prediction till the manga ends dammit! although i do think jimbei will join next. my guess is that he ends up joining luffy in some big battle he will have and will officially join at the end of it. if luffy and law battle an emperor than that will probably be when jimbei meets up with him again.

Her chances are as big as Perona's. :ninja:

you got a great point since her ability is hax, but let's remember that most often than not, people who are specifically wanted by the WG do become strawhats and would get protected by luffy…nico robin, the only remaining person that can read the poneglyphs and franky, the only remaining guy who got pluton's blueprint...from what it appears to me, bonney is valuable to WG since akainu personally came to fetch her....
of course the other one is shirahoshi but she is prolly safe in FI for now.
so i wouldnt discount other's guy guess if there's a slight chance, oda can throw a curveball anytime.

Yes, but even Sabo has more chance of joining. :ninja:
She didn't appear to have a dream, she may have tragic past (but who doesn't) and she never even met Luffy. She doesn't appear to have a profession to be useful to the Straw Hats. She even commented how she wants to fight them.
The only reason people want her is because she is a girl.

my reasoning is because she might a very valuable person to WG…and you just know luffy will one way or another involve himself again in such things...
i wouldnt say she is a shoo-in, yeah the dream and the tragic past about her might or might not be revealed but i do think she got at least a slight criteria as a strawhat nakama...dont really care if its a girl or a boy....most of the strawhats had been strawhats' enemies before too.
what i dont like are predictions like baby 5...she obviously wont even a candidate for a strawhat...and im irritated when they give reason like "she could be the maid"...or "she looks cool"
hell, though its pretty crazy, at least luffy directly told smoker "he doesnt hate him"
And Dragon is the most wanted criminal in the world, does this mean he is the next friend? :ninja:
1.) She has been interacting directly with the two guys who pretty much dealt Luffy one of the two biggest traumas in his life and that right after this trauma happened, what a coincidence^^
2.) She has a relation to either WB or Ace or even both
3.) She already interacted with one of the SHs (Zoro) and promised to find the SHs in the NW and destroy them
4.) She seems to have an interesting past with the WG
Now these points do not necessarily have to lead to her joining the SHs, she also very well could have an antagonistic role or become an ally for one arc/saga like Kinemon or Vivi but it is undeniable that she will play a big role in at least one upcoming arc. Quite frankly though, she has the highest chance of already introduced characters besides Jinbe to join the SHs at one point. That does not mean much since there are not many probable candidates but it is at least something. So in the end, your comparison to Perona, who already had her role, and Dragon, who obviously will have his appearance in an already established capacity, is, excuse my language, quite stupid.
And Dragon is the most wanted criminal in the world, does this mean he is the next friend? :ninja:
shirahoshi might be wanted in the future as well….youre completely going sarcastic on me...im just saying its a possibility so dont shoot down the theory yet...im not saying bonney is a shoo-in...
